Hooray! A place in this tourist Mecca that doesn't try to take every one of my dollars. We ate dinner here just prior to seeing a show at the Ice House theater. What a treat. The kitschy items hanging from the ceiling made for a fun trip. Our server was friendly and fun. A return trip is planned.

Greay service. All the staff help each other and are very friendly. Typical bar food with great, fresh celery and homemade ranch.. nice breeze, easy listening to some mellow tunes! A chill place to enjoy a snack and buy one get one free drafts!!

Fun, feel-good food. The baby back ribs are the best. Ambiance is relaxed, casual, and friendly.There is a very good reason this place has been here for 40 years.Shout out to Tyler who waited on us. This guy truley cares about people. Rare.

Jeremiah's seems to be the hotspot restaurant in Mount Dora. Every time I drive by, the parking lot is packed. I have not eaten at Jeremiah's until just recently. My Mom is in town on vacation and we decided to stop in last weekend for dinner and then again, this weekend for a late lunch.The combination of vintage stained glass light fixtures and gas-powered RC planes hung throughout the restaurant perpetuate a calm-cozy yet curious vibe that keeps guests entertained while waiting for their meal.On our first visit, Mellisa was our server. Mellisa was a bit short with us in the beginning but after taking our drink and meal order, things got much better the remainder of the visit. On our second visit, we were served by a different woman who was much more accommodating throughout.When Mellisa was our server, we ordered three rounds of 2-4-1 margaritas specials ($6 each), the Maryland Crab Dip appetizer ($9.99), Liver & Onions ($12.99), and three 12oz Jack Daniels Sirloin dinners ($16.99 each).On our second visit, we ordered two rounds of the 2-4-1 margarita specials, Chips-n-salsa ($4.99), two orders of the Honey Fried Chicken ($10.99), The 12oz Ribeye ($24.00), the Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad ($12.99), two slices of Chocolate cake, and one slice of carrot cake.The appetizers:The chips-n-salsa was lacking, the salsa was good, but the chips were a bit on the stale side. The Maryland Crab Dip was creamy flavorful but a bit salty.The Dinners:Our steaks were cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The Liver was tender and flavorful, the chicken was freshly fried and moist.The sides:Our side salads, New England Clam Chowder, green beans, baked potatoes, were all made with fresh ingredients and served at the proper temperature. The Chowder is the winner out of the bunch; lots of flavor and a good amount of clam chunks with potatoes.The Desserts:The cakes were delicious, moist, and rich. One-piece between two people is plenty after a large dinner here.Even though our first experience at Jeremiah's started out shaky, we left fat and happy looking forward to our next visit. Since we happened to be in the area several times while my Mom was visiting, we decided we would stop again. Jeremiah's provides delicious meal options at a fair cost. I highly recommend giving them a try if you are in Mount Dora.

My husband I eat here every Wed for lunch and love the food. Today, however, was amazing. The special was Cajun shrimp with Alfredo pasta and a side salad. Gourmet fare...delicious...and I pray it is not a one time thing. Kudos to the kitchen!! Are you listening, Wayne???

First time and had a great meal of blackened grouper and green beans. The grouper was excellent, firm and fresh with just enough seasoning to compliment and not overpower the fish. The service was so friendly and fast and they made you feel so welcome. And the atmosphere of the outdoor bar, which is covered made for a fun food experience. I will be making this a regular spot for some really good food.
