Jah Love Caribbean Restaurant

My friend really wanted to try this place out. She said the beef patty was delicious, but the rice was too mushy, and she was disappointed that there was no sauce for the rice or the fish. I was disappointed that they had yellow yam on the menu, but they had no yellow yam. The cabbage and the plantains were pretty good but nothing special. The jerk sauce was a little overwhelming on the jerk shrimp meal. They completely mixed up our two orders. This place really needs to be cleaned up. Give it a slight upgrade just by changing out those filthy ceiling tiles and painting the walls, as it looks dirty and dated. I was totally turned off by the condition of the interior.

Plenty food a little pricey for me since I'm from south Florida where island food is cheaper because they are everywhere my brother from out of town could not stop raving about the food we both had curry goat made just right , and the lady serving us was just delightful .

I always make it a point to eat Jamaican food when I visit Florida and I usually come to this restaurant. Today, my husband and I walked in with our two small toddlers. We saw the sign on the door saying masks required BUT we didn't have any on us because the mask mandate was lifted a month ago and no where else "requires" a mask. We also observed a gentleman walk out (may may work there) walk out without a mask. When I walked in, I got the coldest look from the woman sitting behind the counter. I asked her if masks were mandatory because of the sign on the door and she said, "it's what the sign says". Because we weren't dining in, I was just going to order it to go anyway. Because of her sour attitude, I took my business elsewhere. I will not be returning here EVER and I wouldn't recommend anyone who expects decent customer service to come here either. We ended up taking our hard earned money and business to Flavors of Jamaica on Osceola Parkway. The vibe and customer service was way better. I hope the older woman sees this and takes heed that you will lose business if you lack customer service.

Here's the Scoop: Jah Love's is a small Caribbean Restaurant with seating for small groups about 8 tables seated in groups of 4. Interior has a large mural in the wall and booth tables with red tablecloths, the chef brings your order to your table if you eat in. The portions are large and filling. Seasoned to perfection. All you need to do is bless your food and eat. Constant flow of customers, this is a testimony to this good food. While in Florida I will visit again before I leave, if you want to call in and take out you can so that too. Fellow Yeloers come and taste the Carribean at Jah Love. Plates are reasonably priced for lunch and dinner.

Amazing and nice people when you walk in. I had the large oxtails and Jamaican patty. Delicious and full of taste! The food is amazing, I will be coming here for the second, third time and many more.

Oxtail was on point! Great service and delicious food! Highly recommended to anyone craving Caribbean food.

I ordered a small oxtail plate, it was okay. The wholeMeal was very dry which was a shock to me. Normally if you order oxtail is will atleast be wet and juicy or in somekind of jerk sauce. I was so disappointed..and having to choose between cabbage and plantain sucks. It all should just come together in on plate.

The rice was very moist and the stew chicken tasted good. The roti skin was dry and hard which made it inedible.

too expensive an you dont get a lot of food not to mention the lady at the counter always look like she's having a horrible day. not much taste to the food either hone just go to Taco Bell.

Very authentic and delicious Jamaican food with huge servings. The customer service is fast and very friendly.
