It's Tasty Too!

Heather made an amazing cake! I had a small intimate ceremony but still wanted a cake. I had called a few bakers and the prices were still really high. I told Heather what I was looking for and she quoted me lower than all the other bakers. I told her I was having a small ceremony but still wanted a cake. She suggested a small two layer cake. I had a few ideas from Pinterest I showed her at the tasting. I ended up selecting vanilla cake with strawberry filling for the bottom layer and the top was marble with alternating layers of white chocolate and ganache. The cake was amazing. We made sure all the guests were sent home with some extra. I ended up taking most of the top layer to our hotel and had it over the next several mornings with coffee (it was my wedding week and I'll eat cake for breakfast if I want!). My only regret is that we didn't save the top layer for our anniversary. M

The first time I visited I drove around since I did not think a custom cake decorating company was inside a delicatessen in a light industrial Warehouse. The deli is Apple Spice junction and was closed the day we were meeting the baker. I was here with my wife and daughter to chose her wedding cake. If it was not that our wedding coordinator recommended this baker I would never had picked it. After meeting the baker and trying the cake options I am very optimistic. The baker listened to my daughter for what she wanted and offered options that we did not even know where options. Then she drew a rough draft of the cake for my daughter and wife to approve and it looked great. Very artistic. I will let you know how it all turns out this summer.

Loved the cake and it was delicious as it was beautiful. It was the perfect centerpiece for my mother's 75th birthday party. Heather captured all of my mother's favorite desserts all on one cake. That's so cool! Last night I finished the last piece, 6 days after the party, and it was as moist as the first bite. That was the most common comment amount the cake at the party. Received a cupcake as a holiday gift... and of course promptly scarfed that bad boy down.. (Should have taken a picture, oh well)It was a large red velvet cupcake with a piped sugar icing on top. Once the cupcake was cut into, a small dollop of cream cheese filling was revealed. The cupcake itself was moist, but had no discernable "red velvet" cake taste. In fact it tasted a little too flour-y too me. The icing on top was your standard icing, sugary without being gritty. The cream cheese filling was too small of a dollap to adequately fill up the inside of the cupcake and left me wanting more. The filling was tasty, but a little sweet, however it balanced out the not too sweet cake.Overall, a nicely presented and tasty cupcake, however It's Tasty Too! needs to step up the flavor profile...Note: the storefront is by appointment only. website: http://www.tastytoo.com/Welcome.html

I used Its Tasty Too for our wedding cake via Weddings Inc in 2016. Overall, my experience was fine. I would have given 3 stars, but the cake turned out really great.Customer service was my biggest negative. My husband and I were planning our wedding from Pennsylvania and came down for a long weekend for wedding planning. We booked an appointment with Heather well in advance for a cake tasting and to discuss what we wanted. We arrived and the bakery was completely dark. We called the phone number for the business with no answer. Heather forgot our appointment. It was pretty stressful as we weren't coming back to Florida until close to our wedding date.We ended up getting another consultation/cake tasting appointment and Heather's assistant helped us - she was amazing.We described what we wanted and got exactly that. Make sure you confirm your appointment a few days before ESPECIALLY if you're traveling from out of town!

I contacted this bakery to make a top cake along with 50 cupcakes for my wedding and I can NOT express how happy I was with everything!!!! I planned a destination wedding in Orlando (I live in Ohio) and needless to say I was EXTREMELY nervous ordering a wedding cake remotely without even tasting or seeing anything, but It's Tasty Too made my experience so seamless, easy and efficient. I worked with Heather here who was extremely helpful, professional and pleasant and responded to all of my texts and emails in a timely and helpful manner. Also, when our nerves got the best of us and we decided to visit vendors in Orlando weeks before the wedding, Heather was kind enough to coordinate a tasting for us free of charge last minute. Most importantly, the cake was DELICIOUS, absolutely stunning, and was EXTREMELY affordable!!! It exceeded our expectations and was so much more than what we hoped for. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for cake that looks and tastes good but doesn't break the bank!!!

I was from Alaska planning to vacation in Orlando - wanted a special birthday cake made. Had to discuss long distance and yes it was a different type - picture of an Eskimo Whaling scene along with mementos of trips past and future i.e. cowboy hat, guitar (Nashville) Hawaiian Shirt (Hawaii ) passports (Europe). Believe or not some Bakery actually refused (ethical animal treatment LOL) LUCKY ME Boy was this cake awesome huge - stick with 8x8 which is what she recommended but I thought that small (she was right) and went with 9x9. The cake and fillings were the best I ever had - we opted for several flavors my absolutely favorite was the ALMOND cake with HAZLENUT filling. The planning went smoothly and they delivered perfectly timed - good good good quality and value for the money :)

We were lucky enough to have It's Tasty Too! provide our wedding cake as part of a package booked through Weddings, Inc.We were initially referred to It's Tasty Too! by a coworker, and after we did our tasting, we were beyond ecstatic. They were our first choice, before we even booked a package deal with Weddings, Inc. When it turned out that this was our assigned vendor for cake, we were pleased as punch.Heather was very sweet (pun fully intended) and gave us a lot of great recommendations. We wanted a simple buttercream design with sugar flowers. The cake was a huge hit, and just absolutely gorgeous. Our favorite flavor was orange with cream cheese filling. We also had chocolate with amaretto and vanilla with cookies 'n cream, which were both amazing as well! But, looking back, we might have just gone for a 100% orange cake. It was the perfect amount of orange flavor. The cake was delicious, and beautifully decorated. I'm not a fan of fondant, neither the taste of it nor the look. Heather did an amazing job with the buttercream frosting and the sugar flowers.Another great note, we are a lesbian couple and happy to say that It's Tasty Too! is most definitely LGBT-friendly! :)
