Istanbul Grill

The food and service at Istanbul Grill is phenomenal. The portions are huge as well! I did a take out order for a group of 6, though it took a while to prepare, all the staff continually checked in on us and were very apologetic for the wait.We got the Istanbul mixed grill family platter which says it serves 4, can easily serve 8. We ordered a variety on breads and the dip sampler as well. The breads are a highlight here for sure. I recommend the falafel as well!Would definitely recommend for a group dinner in the Orlando area! It does get busy, just a heads up, make a reservation if with big group!

*****EXCELLENT*****5 stars all around!!! Great service, atmosphere, and food!!!We were staying at Delta Marriott (Down the street) and we came here EVERY DAY!! Because it was that GOOD!!!We were immediately greeted, and sat within minutes- only one of the days we had to wait like 15mins The menu is great with so many options- our favs were the falafel, and mixed dips (Ezme/Hummus/Cacik/Baba Ganush) and you MUST get the LAVASH ( it their signature hot bread) It was something I've never had and it was so fluffy and good- like a airy cloud of soft "bready-ness" - simply amazing We also enjoyed the mixed grill with all the kebabs and meat choices on rice and salad- it was more than enough for 4 hungry adults!!!Also the Kunafa was crunchy, sweet, and cheesy!! It was a perfect way to end our meal! This is a place I'll remember for a long time! I definitely recommend it! Can't go wrong!

This is definitely the place you want to bring your large family, when you have a lot of different people and do not want to sacrifice great quality.We had a group of eight. One person was gluten-free, another person was on a low salt diet, a third person would not eat meat, a fourth person Could not have any fish, another person would only eat meat, and one more person was a child. Imagine how many restaurants that would rule out.But at this restaurant, we could order kebab platters. And everybody had something that they could eat and wanted. It was absolutely fantastic.The service was outstanding. They catered to our every needs. And it was not too expensive. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious, great temperature, and service was on point. Truly enjoyed our meal and the service from all the staff. Great atmosphere and good parking.

What a gem of a place! Workers are nice and we were seated quickly. The family platter was reasonable for 4 people. We added the dessert which was like a warm sweet cheese with shredded pastry dough and a syrup. The bathrooms were okay, both toilet seats needed to be screwed in. Food came out quickly but we were surprised gratuity was added on for our party of 4, plus toddler and baby. I mean I guess that's 6 people. Overall food was tasty and nice in this area of town.

We had the greatest lunch at Istanbul Grill today Tuesday 9/17/24 our server Maha was exceptionally,On point! She brought garlic sauce & a spicy sauce..My mouth just doesn't tolerate spicy at all so it was the garlic sauce for me !If you are hungry try the lavish ( we ordered hummus to go with My hubby ordered the Lamb shank, I had Lamb shish His was a bit spicy but warm and delicious!Maha brought him a bowl of sauce & veggies !My lunch was wonderful with salad, red cabbage & Basmati rice . Lamb was tender and not overcooked !Perfection on a plate. Only issue was we ate to much to enjoy dessert! Maybe next time !!

Very nice Turkish food. Possibly the only local place I could find in a sea of strip malls and national chains. Glad I found it! I went twice while in Orlando for a conference and enjoyed the food each time. Service was quick and easy.Chicken adana plate has nicely flavored meat, lots of rice, and some side veggies. One veggie was a grilled jalepeno, which was a bit too hot for me to eat (maybe they could do a bell pepper instead).Falafel appetizer was delicious. Four yummy crispy patties with some tahini for dipping. I also tried the spinach pide, which was like a pita bread-filled boat of spinach with some feta on top. Excellent (and huge; I had half for breakfast the next day).On one of the two nights I tried a baklava for dessert. It was just the right amount of dessert - pretty small but very sweet and dusted with pistachio.

Wish we had a local restaurant in my home area - central Texas - that could do this cuisine, this nicely -- impressive!One word: W O W !! Completely authentic!Taste. Healthy. Ambience. Kind Service. I tried the Celebration location of the Istanbul Grill. My girlfriend and I started with the Turkish pizza (lahmacun). It's minced meat over flat bread. Although it is cooked like a pizza, we added later tomatoes, onions and parsley, and we rolled and ate it like a burrito. The main entrees were the chicken and beef shish kabob. I could taste the smokey grill flavor from the grill. The meat was tender and well seasoned. The kabob was served over basmati rice with a Turkish red cabbage salad. The hot pepper with the chicken is extremely hot. It seems to be there for flavoring and not for consumption. If you dare to eat it the helpful staff can bring over a yogurt drink. Dessert is recommended. The kunefe is layered with sugar syrup, melted cheese, angel haired filo dough, and pistachios. It was effing epic. If you decide to try the place bring a sweater. The A/C was chilly when we went.

We found this because it was close to the Vacation Village condos were staying at. What a positive experience. We have been to Turkey and love Turkish food, so we were intrigued when we saw good reviews and had to try it out. When you step in its cozy, there's tables and booths, and the decor is perfect, not over the top, but super lovely. The service was fantastic! We were helped with all our questions and our food. The food, oh wow, the food. We got these breads that were fresh and hot and looked like ballons, so good. We enjoyed some starters of hummus and babaganoush. We also got the pizza (sorry I can't remember the true name), and it was served authentically with lemon, and we could roll them up. So good, they were just amazing. It transported me right back to my trip to Turkey 30+ years ago. Then I had a shish kabob platter that was phenomenal. Plenty of food too, we had to take some home. Highly recommend, please eat here! It's so good, and so much food! Great for families.
