Coming from New Jersey, I was accustomed to an abundance of Filipino restaurants and stores. Since relocating to central Florida seven months ago, I've found myself missing authentic Filipino cuisine, which seems scarce here. I was thrilled to discover this restaurant, despite it being a 25-minute drive away, and arrived with high expectations.Upon entering, there was a noticeable lack of greeting, and another family also seemed unsure about whether to wait or choose their own table. Eventually, a staff member emerged, offering a warm Filipino smile and directing us to seat ourselves. The restaurant was quiet, with just one other family wrapping up their meal. The ambiance, with its vinyl tablecloths and Filipino decorations, had a homely Filipino feel, though it appeared somewhat outdated--a common trait in many charming "hole-in-the-wall" establishments. Our order included Pancit Bihon, Sisig, Mongo, Lumpia Shanghai, and Sinigang. The Sisig, unfortunately, was my least favorite due to an overpowering white sauce with an unexpected sweetness. The Lumpia Shanghai was tasty but heavy on the wrapper and light on meat filling (as seen in the attached picture). The Pancit was well-prepared, and the Sinigang was decent, though I would have preferred it with kangkong. The highlight was the Mongo, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked, though still second to my mom's.I had hoped to try their Kare Kare but it wasn't available. The pricing was somewhat high for Filipino fare, possibly due to its uniqueness in the area. While there's room for improvement, given that it's the only Filipino restaurant nearby, I'm open to returning and sampling more dishes.

Been here a few times for take out. I love that this tiny restaurant is just down the street from where I work. Surprised that I don't come here often. It is hard to miss when driving on the Main Street since it's nestled in between some small businesses. I only discovered this restaurant a few years ago from a fellow Filipino friend I used to work with (even though I've been working nearby for 8 years). My most recent visit I ordered pork adobo, daing bangus and pancit palabok.Nothing like my parents cooking but it was decent. My favorite is their pork adobo as the meat was very soft and tender. It was melt in your mouth delicious. I also enjoyed their daing Bangus--- which is fried fish. I grew up eating this and watched my parents cook it in their outdoor kitchen. So every time I crave Filipino food. I usually make it a point to order Bangus. I'd cook it myself but I hate the smell of cooking oil lingering inside the house. The pancit palabok is also a good choice. Flavors were great but wished they had shrimp and green onions in it. That was the way I grew up eating it anyway. But I will say that their portions were very generous and the chicharon garnish made up for it. Every province has their own way of making dishes so I guess you can say that I'm just used to my family's cooking. Inays Kitchen is a great place to get some decent Filipino food. A little pricey albeit but this is the best thing close to home.

I'm not sure what all I ate, but it tasted good. Was just out and about with my dad and we wanted to try somewhere new. Found this little hidden gem and figured we'd try it out. We ate what they recommended and whatever it was it was good. At the end of the meal I knew I had to try their dessert, even without knowing what it was. I got some little fried banana thing and it was really yummy! I'd like to order it sometime and bring it to a party - it would be a hit!Looking forward to going back and trying more!

Looking for a Filipino restaurant while on vacation and found Inay's Kitchen. This is a very straightforward Pinoy place and has a videoke to complete the experience. We called and online it says they're open until 8pm but only open until 7pm. The 85 y/o Inay, made the most delicious crispy pork sisig and lechon kawali. The portion is good for two and prices are reasonable. If there's one reason to go back to Orlando, this would be it. The lady server was very friendly and helpful. Please try this place and let's support Inay and her kitchen.

went there and not a single customer. thought I got lucky n have the place to myself and enjoy the food. turns out the food still tastes like filipino food but the sad thing was that it was so small the portions. ordered 20 pieces of pork lumpia and I thought they were Takis! yep thats how small they were. and the lechon kawali! OMG! 4 pieces of it and a tiny scoop of rice. so thats two orders of roast pork with lumpia and they came out to 50$. no wonder why there's no customer. overpriced and very small portions.

Came here to eat a very popular Philippino dish...chicken adobo. Very simple dish to prepare, yet very tasty. When we got our food, there was absolutely no taste. It tasted like chicken boiled in water. We told the owner, and they went in the kitchen to try and figure out what we were talking about. Came back and told us they forgot to put in 2 of the 4-5 ingredients! Said they would fix it and came back with a small piece of chicken and sauce. It didn't taste much better at all. Yet they still charged us, giving us an extremely ridiculous "discount" (I'm pretty sure it was $1 off). So we had to pay for a dish that had zero taste. Good management would've said, we apologize for that, could we make you another dish? If not, we're not going to charge you...but that wasn't the case. Had they handled it properly, I would not be writing this review right now. And since I'm here I will also say that the bathroom situation is quite poor. You have to walk through the kitchen and service area in order to get there. Once inside it feels as if you're in the utility closet. We do not recommend eating here.

Thank you to the Ates that still took our take out order even though they were about to close in 30 minutes. We are from Maryland and were visiting for Disney/Universal, it was nice to eat some Asian food after eating a bunch of sweets throughout the day, lol! My boyfriend's favorite was the sisig. My favorite was the lechon kawali.

Just ate here with my family and I must say the food was really good. We ordered several of the dishes from lechon, bangus, lumpia, menudo, palabok, pakbet and the halo halo. The lumpia's are appetizers size but it was great for the kids. Overall It was very good. The staff was very friendly and even chatted with other customers during lunch which made the environment very friendly and welcoming. We will be back again soon!
