Ichiban Buffet

I found Ichiban Buffet to be an incredible value for an AYCE Chinese/Japanese buffet. Prices: lunch runs $11.49 on weekdays and $12.99 on weekends, while dinner is $16.99 every day. It's also $16.99 all day on holidays because the dinner selection is available all day long.Everything I tried was good and all the food trays were never left empty for long. I liked the bbq ribs. The Cajun seafood tray was also a standout. Shrimp lovers will be thrilled because there are five different kinds of shrimp/prawns. Sashimi refills were a little slower, but that's to be expected.We were given plastic forks by default, which I didn't mind, but if you prefer silverware, it's hiding in plain sight next to the ice cream station.Halfway into our meal, a waitstaff asked us to pay before we finished eating, explaining that she was about to go on break. While I was taken aback at the unusual request, she seemed sincere and reassured us to take our time eating. I'm assuming the motivation here is a result of waitstaff being held responsible to cover the cost of non-paying customers, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt..Despite staff frequently being glued to their phones, they were still prompt in clearing dishes from tables, so no complaints there.Overall, Ichiban Buffet delivers great variety, tasty options, and incredible value. Highly recommend if you're looking for an affordable buffet with good selections!

I used to not like Chinese buffets until this place! Good price, fresh yummy food, and efficient service!

If you're looking for the tradition Chinese buffet for a good price point this is the place. The staff here was kind and checked on us several times during the meal. The food was warm and someone was checking on it multiple times. I would 100% go here again if I was in the area.

Harassed for more tips ! How can you ask for more tips when your table is not cleaned , and when it comes to a check abrupty beeing nice to get more $$ . Bringing your check back to forcing you to write bigger amount of tip.Rude waitress and unpolite also the guy who is in front desk.

The food is fairly good, your standard asian buffet. At the very least, it's good enough to warrant an extra star. Sadly, it's hard to judge how good it really is when the inside of your mouth turns sour thanks to the atrocious service! If you're willing to put up with servers who are neglectful at best or downright rude at worst, go ahead! I certainly won't be coming back here, and I can't recommend others come here even on a dare. Seriously, whoever runs this place needs to have their employees give up their phones and lock them in a box like middle schoolers, because that's how they'll ever be motivated to do the jobs they're paid for! You should not be haranguing customers for tips when you've spent the entire service on your phone and ignoring them!!

Made my husband birthday special. Our first time there and they had quite the selection of oysters, fresh oysters, and crab and Chinese and hibachi and had a great bunch of desserts also by the way a great sushi bar. The prices were excellent.

Have to admit, haven't been here since post Covid.Use to be clean, good service, very good food for a buffet, best in the area.Now, the place should close.Dirty, rundown, horrible food.They still have a sign advertising a Christmas meal price.Do not go there even if the food is free.

4 stars on the buffet scale!Nice sized buffet with 1 asian entree table, 1 asian soup and appetizer table, 1 American table, 1 salad table, 1 dessert table, and I know I'm missing something else. Plus a full sushi area with several sides like cucumber salad. And on a Friday for lunch, everything was fresh and rotated quickly. Everything tasted just like it should. Place was clean overall. Bathroom was ok at best. Staff were quick to clear plates. Overall a very solid buffet.
