I-Drive Star Bar

Was spending the night in Orlando for the first time and my friends and I took an uber from our hotel and we had a great time... it reminded me of a college neighborhood bar. Messy-good time folks, drinking and being jolly. Drinks are strong and affordable and bartenders are fast and efficient. They really should find a way to expand because the bar was crowded. And they don't play here, 2AM and they make sure you are gone!

This place it was a vibe!! The drinks are worth the price and that's how I like it. If you ride the Star Flyer you can get discounted drinks.Always friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. The patrons are a mix of locals (mostly service industry employees from IDrive) and tourists. It does get crowded at times but overall it's my favorite late night joint on I-Drive.

Inside is a bit cramped. There is an outside seating area. Music was a vibe, I enjoyed it. Reasonably priced drinks. Patrons were friendly. It was crowded, it took a lil while for me to get a drink.

Expensive drinks. Slow service. Music for kids! (Damn, I sound old)... it's a tourist dream! Haha... but here I am...

Tyler suggested our drinks for us and it was so good! We had starburst flavor shots. He is awesome and made our experience one of a kind. Really fun & the best part is this bar is the cheapest on the whole block!

This is a convenient location for passers by to get a quick drink while being entertained by the giant revolving swings and people watching. Kinda reminds me of a fancy dive bar.

I don't know who came up with the idea of placing a small bar right beneath the thrill ride that shares the same name and location as the STAR FLYER attraction but kudos to that person he or she is a fricking genius. This is a cool little bar that offers a vast selection of beers and some very nice crafted cocktails. Although it acts as an oasis from the Florida sun and humidity while waiting in line it seems that the main purpose is more about pouring a little liquid courage for those who need a little more time to make the decision to take a seat or not on the most wicked swing ride in the world or possibly to calm those who have just stepped off this thrill ride and in need of a drink to relieve their anxiety or in my case a place to wait to do it again.This pairing is a perfect combination for the adult thrill seeker and it would be interesting to know which business makes the most revenue. Although I knew the answer I had to ask if they had "to go cups" for the ride, of course the answer was no, that would so take it to another level. Whether you stop in before or after enjoying this attraction this little bar is great, the bartender was friendly and attentive serving some of the most reasonably priced drinks on International Drive, so if you need a shot of courage this is the spot...

I enjoy the well-made, strong drinks, and the atmosphere at the Star Bar. I like to come here, and relax, people watch, and watch my husband while he rides Orlando's "Tallest Swing Ride in the World". I can't ride on this swing, because I fear for my life, and I know my heart can't take it, (Lol). So I sit back, and enjoy, and savor the fruity flavors in my drinks. The bar stays extremely busy, and the bartender works his magic tirelessly, because it is next to the swing ride, and people like to come in, and get a drink before the ride. (To help settle their nerves. And/or to get a drink after the ride, to also settle them down, and bring them back to earth. The bartender is so skilled, and efficient, that he makes drinks faster than any other bartender, I've ever seen. He never has a long line, and there's never a significant wait to get a drink.So, while my husband is enjoying the ride, I get to enjoy the bar, and conversate with the bartender, and all the other scardy-cats, as they also wait for their loved ones ride to end.

Came in last night for the first time and I was really impressed with Tyler, Joe and Eric. Super nice bartenders! And they were whipping up some drinks! The dream team! I'll be back soon!

Lame atmosphere. Customers are clowns (at least when I was there) , drinks just ok. Left 30 minutes after I got there and went somewhere else.
