Came here looking for a breakfast/lunch place and of course I searched YELP for the best place for that.HWY 441 Diner is located in a strip mall, plenty of parking out front with a couple of tables in front of the diner. Inside is decorated just like any diner you would expect. Both table & booth seating available. Lunch is available after 10 AM. I arrived just before 10 AM and I as able to order the Triple Decker (Club Sandwich) and the Two Egg breakfast special.Food good and friendly service. This is a little hole in the wall place and could be missed if your not looking for it. However if you are wanting a diner experience then visit. Extensive menu available with Burgers, Pizza, Salad, Subs and Pasta just to give you an idea.

Ate here for the first time 12/14/24 for dinner. 2 chicken parm meals and a cheesesteak. Father in law and I ate the parm which was ok, bit salty. Wife had cheesesteak... pretty decent. Good old fashioned diner style and service.

We were very happy with our service and food. The atmosphere was great and clean. My husband loved the catfish, eggs, and grits. I got the Eggs Benedict and home fries. The home fries where great, cooked with onions and peppers and seasoned well

Always consistent home cooked food. Try the open roast beef sandwich or mamas fried chicken. Both are delicious

Hwy. 441 Diner is a 50's themed diner located in a shopping plaza that has definitely seen better days. The service here, however, is friendly and upbeat and the food is typical diner fare. I mean this in a complimentary way. I love diners and have created some wonderful memories with some amazing people while we enjoyed a meal in a diner.Hwy. 441 Diner is a good stop if you are in the Tavares, Florida and wanting a decent meal. Overall, I will give it four stars and I would give it my recommendation.

Just a little diner with a large menu. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is basic diner food but usually pretty good. It feels a little dingy and could be a tad cleaner. It's always been busy when we go so they're doing something right.

This was highly disappointing. This diner was recommended by the hotel employee where we stayed on our visit to Tavares, Fl. I didn't even take any photos of the food as it took forever to come out even though they were not that busy. I ordered to sausage gravy over a biscuit, over easy eggs and home fries. The gravy was nothing but tasteless thickened milk topped with a few pieces of chopped up sausage meat, not even cooked in that gravy. The eggs were hard, far from being over easy, and the home fries were just over cooked and dry. By the time they brought it to the table it was lukewarm. Staff was nice but not warm friendly as you expect from a small town diner. Unfortunately this will be a one and done kind of place.

We just moved to this area but we were excited to have a diner close by but we won't be back to this Diner! I ordered the pancake special with coffee but they charged me for coffee. My wife ordered the waffle special. The waffles were worse than the pancakes. My wife took a few bites and the waitress took the plate away. The bacon was hard and brittle. The waitress brought us less cooked bacon but it tasted like microwaved bacon. We had to ask them to take it off the bill but they still charged for my coffee. The service was a bit slow and the waitress seemed uninterested. The utensils had stains on them. If you still have taste buds they will not be pleased.
