First of all, the onion rings are amazing! They will always consider special requests when asking. Ryan is an absolute gem!! Their tuna appetizer is the best. They have a great cocktail menu. The owner is always around to talk to and very nice.It has a great neighborhood atmosphere. I also play poker here at least once a week.

Ryan was an awesome server! He went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and appreciated. He was busy tending bar and the tables in bar area, but he tried to get to everyone in a timely manner and was definitely working efficiently. We had a few different types of wings with our favorite being the Trifecta dry rub. The right amount of seasoning and heat. The blue cheese for dipping was just ok. We added a side of onion rings which I thought were a smaller portion than expected , but ended up being enough for us to share. The prices were reasonable. They have specials each night as well. They have events and that particular evening was Texas Hold 'Em poker.

Ordered the butter fried chicken sandwich, fish dip, fried pickles which came out really fast and the server made sure we had everything we needed.Fun family friendly environment, my doggo even got a burger from the restaurants pet friendly menu. Left before the live music got started, but it looked like it was going to be a fun evening had by all (they were even dishing out free tequila shots)

TL;DR - The food was four-star, but the service was frustrating. I've got mixed feelings about Hurricane. They've got good tasting food if it ever arrives.Please tell me our server was new...We were shopping nearby and heard the music from a live DJ, so we thought we'd check this place out.My wife ordered a burger and fries. When asked about what toppings she wanted, she pointed to the list of no-charge toppings and asked for all of them. The burger arrived missing half of the toppings. our server acted all confused when we asked for the remaining toppings. the burger tasted great. It's just too bad it had to go cool waiting for the remaining toppings.I ordered wings and made it a meal with fries and broccoli. I mentioned that I wasn't sure about one of the sauces. The server said she could bring me a side of sauce to try (She didn't tell me that I would be charged for it. I can forgive 50 cents). So my wings arrive with no sauce, no fries, and no broccoli. So I kindly reminded her and started on the wings while I waited. She came back with broccoli, fries and the wrong sauce. Another server came to see if we got our extra sauce. He went and got the right sauce, and our server came and took the first one back. My fries and my wife's fries were a Tale of Two Cities. the best of fries and the worst of fries. My wife's fries were normal looking. All of my fries were a fraction of the length of hers. I didn't order fry bits (they must think I look like Steven Universe). At least the wings tasted good. I recommend both the jerk and the Cajun rubs.We noticed an ad showing $3 shots of Two Trees whiskey. It looked interesting, so we asked our server about it. She said that was available at the bar. So why is it advertised on the tables in the dining room? I've never heard of a drink that's not available in the dining room. At this point my brain was tired from dealing with her.

Orders pick up order. One star off due to missing my extra order of fries (side upgrade two sides 4.99)Overall great food. On a late night pick up.We ordered 10 wings half Buffalo and half lemon pepper. Which I was a fan of both. And they have diverse line of sauce options. Love the bleu cheese and what seemed like a butter garlic sauce that was AMAZING! Got the Sides upgrade with garlic parm fries and and extra side of fried(missed as stated above) but can't speak in the fries as I didn't try any. I ordered the hangover with gluten free bun part of the "Gluten sensitive menu" I actually selected to eat here due to wide array of options from the menu. Also for side I got the cilantro rice which was great as well!Overall great food! We'll be back soon.

Hurricane Grill & Wings is my FAVORITE place in Apopka. Have traveled extensively worldwide - impressed by the Owner (Michael), Staff (top to bottom) and overall ambience. Nice, casual atmosphere to relax, enjoy whatever you like: relaxing with a friend/family, watching a sports game or listening to live music - always a fun time! Adore their Ahi Tuna (also on Happy Hour with reduced rates: beverages and other items - such as WINGS!!). You can't go wrong with Hurricane's, where everyone is as friendly as the food is good! With others or by myself, I have NEVER been disappointed with whatever I have ordered and again - one cannot find friendlier staff or a kinder Owner (Michael); genuine and sincere. Quality people and delicious food at affordable prices in a cozy, casual environment. Never had a bad time at Hurricane's! Thank You!

Pay attention to the wing menu! Gridiron wings are some of the best I've had ever. Whitney was our waitress and if anything was better than the food it was the amazing service! I'd come back just for that. There's also a wonderful waitress named Trina that has an amazing voice! If you get the chance, ask her to sing.

Food and service was good. The atmosphere sucked. The DJ kept turning the music up until it was distorted. It was so loud that we had to shout to try and have a conversation. And that was sitting inside not on the patio. Not a good place for dinner and drinks with friends.
