Hungry Crab Juicy Seafood & Bar

Had a very good experience at this hungry crab location. The food was very good and our service was excellent. It seems like many of the bad reviews here have been for a lack of service, but we were sat down immediately and had a great waitress that helped us get our food in less than 15 minutes and was very friendly.I liked that the prices were about on par with other crab chains and portions were as expected too. I liked that the spice mixtures (garlic butter for the kid and old bay based mixture for us with mild heat) were more flavorful than the juicy crab we last went to in Atlanta. I would have liked them to be a little less stingy on the sides (potato's and corn, this probably doesn't cost them that much) but otherwise thought the clam and shrimp portions (and again flavors) were good.This is a fun place to get messy and have a special meal with family as long as you know what it is and what this sort of thing costs. I'd do this again

Family Fish boil Adventure!!!This is one of our go to spots for seafood boils.Every time we go the boils are flavorful and enjoyed by all 5 of us!!!Can be a bit pricey for 5 as one boil at 75$ is not enough to fill all of us so we always have add ins which increase our final bill.The other thing is they have a sign that they auto charge gratuity for 6 or more people, but twice now they have added the service charge AKA TIP to our bill.I normally tip 30% to a good server, but when they add this "service charge" to our bill, normally around 16-20$ that is all I give them. We are 5 not 6.So this is one the reason for the 4 stars, instead of 5. The other is Seville can be hit or miss which is probably why they try and throw this service charge on people's bills.From my personal experience a place normally charges gratuity for parties of 8-10 or more.I am sure this 6 person policy actually hurts the servers bottom line. Especially when a table has a past industry worker sitting at it like ours always does. I do not like places that tell me what to tip!!!Back to the food. The boils are always yummy and worth returning for.AS ALWAYS, TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

Seafood was good and so was the service. You can get oysters on the half shell by the half dozen or dozen

I should known based the "no refund policy" that meant, we'll serve you basically whatever and there's no repercussion.We choose this place based on Yelp and Google reviews, wrong answer. This place is VERY basic. It's either a boil or fried baskets. Note that it wasn't even pictured worthy.The water, tea and lemonade was HORRIBLE. It must be the Florida water system. All the waitresses did was apologize, again hence the policy.So, what was so horrible? The sweet potato fries were okay, the fried shrimp were just that, no special seasoning. The cajun fries were just curly fries.The crab legs were as they were, crab legs, nothing more than someone else cooking for you. Our waitress was pleasant. Again, maybe this works due to the population but for us, not returning nor recommending.This style of restaurant is your basic "crab style" venue. It looks like you can sign your name or something but no one explained it so, not sure what that's based on, visitors?!?

We stopped by on holiday to grab dinner. We were seated and waited 15mins or so and nobody stopped by. At least an acknowledgement would have been nice. Another table nearby complained about lack of flavor and the waitress rolled her eyes walking away so we decided to leave. One star based on poor service don't know what the food tasted like unfortunately.

I just had lunch here and I was pleasantly surprised. I was in the mood for seafood for lunch and they had a boiled shrimp and corn and potato special for about $13. It was hot and tasty. I asked for a mild level of spiciness and that's exactly what they gave me. The lady who took my order and served me was very pleasant.

My family and I were waiting to be seated and a roach crawled from under the bench in the front where you wait for a table. We nicely returned the table timer and left.

Me and my guest walked in and was seated right away. We came In In on a sunday. Venue was blasting southern Baptist music so if that's your style of music on a Sunday you would be highly satisfied musically. Our waitress was pleasant. The food was very flavorful and had great taste even down to the oysters or the boil. Also had lobster tails(not pictured) but cooked to perfection. My only complaint about the food was the crab legs were a bit too fishy in taste. A lot of great photo opportunities within the venue. Strong drinks

Extremely reasonably priced seafood in large quantities! This was our first time visiting the Hungry Crab and we will most definitely be back soon. My mom and I love shellfish so we were eager to try this. You can combine two types of shellfish you're interested in for the boils, then choose a sauce and a level of spiciness. I got shrimp and black mussels with garlic butter seasoning, and medium heat. It was delicious, the perfect amount of spice, and such a large amount of food! All for about $20. My mom got something similar with crab instead of mussels so it was a little more expensive. She said it was some of her favorite seafood she's had - We had zero complaints about our experience.They have a kids menu with chicken tenders for kiddos who don't like seafood, too. So that worked out great for us!

The S1 with the Hungry Seasoning was so good and the Granddaddy Margarita was everything!!!
