Huey Magoo's

Okay so, i have given up on Hueys back in Daytona Beach location thinking they just declined in general and was ready to give this location benefit of the doubt. I was mistaken i believe that downgrade in quality is accord the board. Chicken was chewy and over seasoned, fires were okay and sauce was good. But i came for some good chicken tenders and was disappointed. Service was good, guy who took my order was great. Ambiance is kind of laid back and unbothered, i didn't appreciate the vibe. Overall i got food i ordered and i wasn't hungry so i guess that is a win. There is a lot of potential here, you just need to get chicken right. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not the stars reflect that.

Love this new location! Super clean and employees are very helpful. Currently, my fave order is the three piece tender meal- tenders tossed in Buffalo sauce with a side of coleslaw. Gotta dip the chicken (and fries) in ranch!

So disappointed. We were looking forward to giving this new Magoo's a try, but there won't be a repeat visit. One star for the helpful counter service, and cleanliness of restaurant, but the food we received wasn't worthy of any stars. We waited for a few months after opening to allow the new place to work out any bumps it might have, but maybe that wasn't long enough. The tenders we received were all different sizes with the smaller ones dry and tough (really not edible to us); the fries were almost all dried out and the home-made chips we ordered as a side and were really looking forward to (as we have had these at the Altamonte location and they were excellent) were placed on top of the fries in the take out box, so soggy when opened. I would think that chips would be placed in a separate container. The garlic toast was good, but for the price we paid, we expected much more than a good piece of toast. This is my opinion on the food we received. I wish this could have been a good review and I hope they make improvements.We'll return to the Altamonte location.

This new location in Longwood is excellent. We came around 6:30 pm on 11/3 and the ladies at the front were wonderful. They took our order, brought our food and checked on us multiple times. Excellent customer service. The manager, Robert, was also going around helping customers, picking up plates and even brought our 4 kids some lollipops. Everything was super clean and the food was hot and tasted great.

Ordered a 5 piece tender plate to go. Two of the five were way overcooked. The rest were tough and stringy. Loaded with salt. Fries were okay however toast was very soggy. Maybe wrap it separately. Very expensive for mediocre food.
