My first impression wasn't that of awe. The inside is pretty plain cafe style decor and the service wasn't that great. Every table was dirty and they weren't busy. The tenders were just mediocre. For me, if you're gonna serve tenders and that's specialty they better wow me. I won't say they were bad, but I just wasn't impressed. The tenders weren't that big and not as juicy as I'm use to. Overall, this is a decent choice if you're looking for tenders that are simple, and not far from your home, but I would never go out of my way for food.

This was my first time visiting Huey Magoo's and I absolutely loved it! They had a lot of menu items but nothing to overwhelming. The cashier was really nice and patient considering you could tell she was understaffed. The inside seating area had a lot of room as well as the outside dining area. Since it was a cool night we sat outside.It took a min for us to get our food and like I mentioned before I'm sure it was due to being understaffed. Once we received our food it was hot and fresh. My kids had tenders and they were crisp and delicious. My husband had the Buffalo tenders which were flavorful and the Buffalo sauce had the perfect amount of kick in its sauce. My Huey Sandwich was moist and crispy all at the same time and their special sauce added more flavor to the sandwich. Overall the chicken had a really good flavor and taste way better compared to other chicken places. It doesn't taste like fast food at all but more like a restaurant. Highly recommend.

No doubt the food is good! My challenge is the portion of chicken you receive versus what the meal costs. Plenty of fries and bread, but three half size pieces of chicken. I will probably not be back.

My first time every eating here...... i've been missing out all these years!! Are you KIDDING ME! How come no one told me how delicious and fresh this chicken is. It is like the ultimate tender spot. They serve them with garlic bread (my fav) and some yummy crinkle fries. I got the spicy magoos sauce and it tied it all together for the perfect 5 star experience. We waited no more than 10 minutes for our food and easily had some to take home with their large portion sizes. I love this place and will definitely be skipping any fast food places for this one instead. count me in!

This was the first time that we ate here. It was not busy. The service was good, and the food was excellent. The fries were hot and fresh. The chicken can have sauce on it or not have sauce on it. You may want to get the sauce on the side if you're unsure of the sauce. They have sweet tea, unsweet tea, and watermelon tea.

There aren't enough good things i can say about this place! First of all, their staff is super kind and attentive. The place is super clean and looks great. Something I would recommend is for them to clean their high chairs, or have sanitizing wipes available. I tried their tenders tossed in buffalo before but they were not good. They were too spicy to enjoy. This time I went with regular fried tenders and it was the best choice ever! Reminded me of raising canes from Colorado. The spicy Huey magoo sauce is to die for! If you haven't already, you need to try this place! It beats any other chicken tenders I've ever tried.

I'm surprised this review didn't come sooner, considering me and my partner are here regularly for the best chicken tenders in the area. We used to frequent the Altamonte Springs location, but we prefer the friendlier staff in Apopka/Wekiva Hunt Club. Chicken tenders are your choice grilled or hand-tossed (breaded) and tossed in your favorite choice of sauce. The lemon pepper sauce is a personal favorite and the meal for 2 is ideal for a date night that won't leave your budget suffering. Try the watermelon or fresh brewed iced teas on a hot day. I have yet to try to the chicken salad, but one of these days I will be back to try it. We go for chicken at this hidden local gem about every other week.

In all fairness, this is not one of my favorite places. But I hope he likes it so we go every once in a while. This time I ordered two wraps to go chicken wraps. Lettuce and Spinach does not carry well!! The chicken is OK. I just made it out of the wrap. There is plenty of parking and you can eat indoors and of course it is handicapped accessible

Why is this place not slammed? This was the most amazing chicken tenders I've ever had! Also, for those wondering, dipping plain tenders and getting them sauces IS NOT THE SAME! Pay the small upcharge, you won't be sad! Nice patio outside for this Florida nice season, so take the time to eat it here and hot!

Don't know what the fuss is about. Good marketing I guess. Food is average. Typical fast food atmosphere. Chick filet is better IMHO.
