Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - Oviedo

I remember when this place first opened almost 20 years ago - I was addicted to the chicken tender wrap!I just moved back to the area and craved it - It was pretty gross :) It was so bad I am starting to think that I ate fake food

Need quality control at this location - the fries are WAY over-salted & there is generous helpings of pepper on everything, even the coleslaw.Have ordered food here twice in the last 2 months & it's been the same both times (the previous time, the it was obvious that the oil had not been changed out & everything had a burnt/smokey flavor, as a result).It was not always this way here.The location in Winter Springs is WAY better now.

Was in the area and needed a quick to-go order. They delivered our food fast and fresh. Overall the food was good. Our only complaint was that our "double" portion of fries was the same size as our single potion of fries, which was odd.

It a world with fried chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders and chicken nuggets, Huey Magoo's kinda gets lost in the mix. With so many options, a place that specializes in tenders should have most excellent tenders. Their Chicken Tenders were OK. They could have been bigger, but they did toss in a few extras so some bonus points for that. They also could have been more fresh. The platter seemed like it wasn't all that fresh. Some items weren't piping hot. Staff seemed like they were just hanging out with each other and the people coming in were secondary to their purpose there.One corner of the dining area had a crap ton of boxes in it. I've noticed this trend a lot where now it's just ok to store shipments of stuff wherever it fits, pile chairs up, etc. Maybe people need bigger places if there's no room for stuff in the back? Just saying.The extra tenders could have brought this up to more stars, but the lack of freshness and lack of service and the cluttered dining area makes it just ok.Food was OK, could have been more fresh.

My office ordered catering and I was not overly impressed. I was looking forward to the fried chicken tenders but the baked tenders packed much more flavor. The sauces were just ok and the potato chips could've been left out all together. The salad dressing was good, I believe it was creamy Italian, nice and thick. But overall, it's a pass unless I'm in the mood for baked chicken tenders and salad.

One of my favorite places, if not my favorite place to get chicken tenders! No frills just good chicken and crinkle cut fries. There Huey Magoo sauce is also so good to dip them in.I also often get there grilled chicken tenders. So tender and good. I have no idea what the marinade but it's good. Either eat them with magoo sauce or I also like to have them tossed in buffalo and honey mustard and then dip them in some blue cheese.Tried a wrap and salad before too. Both alright, but I normally come here for the tenders.

We used to love coming here, the food was good and the pricing was very fair. However over the years we have noticed a huge decline in service and professionalism from the staff. The last few times we went, the music was loud and highly inappropriate for a family style restaurant, and the workers were extremely unprofessional and seemed bothered to do their job. The wait period for your food also increased every visit, regardless of how many other people were there. Waiting over 30, sometimes 45 minutes for a chicken tender was a bit much. Our last and final time that we came here the service was absolutely terrible and we found a black hair in our food...YUCK! It's so unfortunate because this used to be a good quick service food place, but it's just not what it used to be. We have since been to other locations and they were leaps and bounds better than the Oviedo location. It's truly so sad to see this location and how they have lowered standards and expectations over the past few years.

Oh how I've missed you ! It's been way too long. As I recall, the last couple of times were kinda hit or miss. Still good but not quite the same. Tonight however, yummmmmm !! Everything was delicious like before, curbside service was quick and friendly and the food was hot. Yes I tried a piece before going home. Still a go to treat !

Not too busy, to go was fast. Up charge for trying sauces when I have never been here was sad, but company policy.

I would recommend any other Huey magoos than this one, employees took a bite out of my food, I go in to address it and I'm told "that happens" with the employees smiling and laughing as I'm walking in because this was planned, they ate my food and thought it was funny, manager didn't care enough to address the issue at all, I tipped 15% and was polite, they just decided to pick a customer and tamper with their food, also noticed that I paid 17$ for a 5 piece meal, every other location is about 5$ cheaper, so make sure they're not tampering with your order or your money. Would rate 0 stars if I could
