Discovering this place by work was a pleasant surprise.The cleanliness of the restaurant was impressive. The young staff were proactive in cleaning up after customers, rather than just standing behind the counter on their phones. One staff member even walked around to check on diners, asking how the food was, which added a nice personal touch to the experience.The only downside to my meal was the coleslaw. It seemed to be from an old batch, with a slimy texture that broke off like mozzarella cheese when I tried to serve it with a fork. The taste confirmed it was off, so I'll be opting for double fries next time.Despite the disappointing coleslaw, I still gave Huey Magoo's a 5-star rating. Among chicken tenders restaurants like Zaxby's, Cane's, and PDQ, Huey Magoo's is the clear winner. The quality, taste, and service make it a top-notch choice for chicken tender enthusiasts.

First time here. Was in the area and had to try it after the things I have read about the differences with Canes. My take always were the following. We got food to take back to our hotel and was pleased with how well the food traveled. The fries were good could have used a bit more salt though. Bread was not as good as canes but still fair. Lemonade was tasty and would get it again but not quite as refreshing as Canes. The star was the chicken which I was craving the next day. It was moist and delicious and the coating was nicely spiced. The stars are for the chicken. My final vote is this chicken is better than Canes.

Yummy!! I hadn't had Huey Magoos in quite a few years but was in the area so decided to stop by.The restaurant was quite empty when we entered, but it quickly filled up. We placed our order and sat down and waited probably 7-10 minutes for our food which wasn't too bad. The tenders were piping hot and fresh, and the fries had a very good seasoning on them. I enjoyed both the regular Magoos sauce as well as the spicy Magoos sauce. The restaurant was quite cold, so it was a relief to walk outside upon finishing our meal, but all in all will likely be back soon!

I'm so glad we ended up at Huey Magoo's for dinner last night! As much as I wanted to try the Thai place next door, I was excited to find a solid (and reasonable) chicken place instead! Upon entering, there was a lot of seating options and a clear path to the counter where you order. It's a typical fast casual look as far as ambiance goes, but does the trick. My husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich and I opted for the buffalo chicken wrap. The buffalo wasn't unbearably spicy (especially with a side of ranch, which I recommend adding on), but still brought some heat! This was a quick and easy dinner spot and I can't wait to come back. The prices were also incredibly reasonable, with our two meals coming in at less than $25 total. The fries could be a little better, but add some ranch and you've got a winner. The girl working the counter was also very friendly and made sure she said a genuine hello and goodbye to everyone! We can't wait to come back!

I truly love Huey Magoos . They have a Tuesday special that comes with 4 tenders, your choice of sauce , fries, toast and a drink . I usually choose the beaded lemon pepper and the magoo sauce for dipping my fries. The price of the special has increased over the last 2 years , but it's still worth it. This location used to have the freestyle soda machine but on my most recent visit I noticed they no longer have it, they have the regular standard soda machine. Definitely check out Huey Magoos if you haven't already!

This was my first time at this Huey Magoo's. As always, the food is very good, one of the best tenders in the area. Also, their fries are extremely good, well seasoned and very tasty. The reason I knocked it down to four stars is that the service was a bit slow waiting on the food and the employees were a little unprofessional. When not interacting customers, they were always talking and loud with each other.

The chicken tenders are juicy and flavorful for a quick stop place. The sauces are really good! I haven't tried mixing them only because I like to dip mine how I want lol. The magoo sauce is thick and creamy that goes great with the tenders. I have tried the sweet heat not my favorite it's a heat after taste with an initial sweet. The honey mustard is like a dressing consistency but good. I recommend if you want a quick meal, reasonable price and a nice chicken spot.

I love this place! I've driven by for years and never imagined they'd have the best and freshest chicken fingers. They have lots of sauce choices. The fries, bread and salad are fabulous. They have a wonderful watermelon sweet tea! They employ a lot of younger wait staff. The Management or ownership team is present and fabulous. This is my new favorite chicken finger place to dine. The restaurant is clean with easy access in and out. Great place to grab a bite to eat before shopping at the mall or Costco.

I stopped by Huey Magoo's for a quick lunch while out shopping. The restaurant was packed. There were only two cashiers working the ordering lines, food delivery and clean up so cleaning the tables in between customers didn't happen. The staff was very nice. They had nice smiles and a willingness to help. All three of us ordered the chicken tenders with fries and coleslaw. The kitchen forgot the coleslaw on one order and sent out hot chicken and cold fries. They must have cooked the fries before we ordered our food.

This place makes Chick Fil-a taste overrated The food is delicious every time and has so much flavor. I LOVE the grilled tender option. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken wrap. Staff is always welcoming and filled with personality. My favorite spot for lunch during the work week. They are very fast with getting your food out as well which saves your valuable minutes on your lunch hour Thanks for always providing excellence!!
