I fell in love with the food truck! It was hard at times trying to find an event where Hot Asian Buns was located but now they have a restaurant location in the most convenient place. Just across the street from Foxtail coffee in the downtown Sanford area! We can get our grub and cravings on because we NOW know exactly where to find them! Thankful.....they have the same great taste, same great quality as the food truck featured and it's nice to have a seat in the spot. Great customer service and just a cool atmosphere! Definitely stopping by here again to fulfill our cravings!Thank you to the owners of Hot Asian Buns for being so creative and pushing through all these events. I'm happy to find you conveniently near my home.

These are hands down the best bao in central FL! The buns are incredibly fluffy, the meat is tender and they never skimp on portion size. The shrimp bao is one of my favorites. It reminds me of bang bang shrimp, but elevated because they pack so much flavor into every bite. Definitely plan ahead and get to their truck before they open because the line gets long fast. I've waited anywhere from 10-40 minutes, but it's always worth it. Also, ask for a fork. Because the buns are so stuffed, they can be messy to eat.

Had the opportunity to check out this food truck at Tastey Takeover food truck block party and I would definitely recommend trying them out! I got the Korean Fried Chicken Boa and the Loaded Kimchi Fries. Everything was flavorful, fresh, crispy, and that boa bun was super fluffy. So yummy! Service was quick even with a crowd. Definitely check them out!

My visit to the Orlando Parking Lot Party was an absolute bao-mazing experience! Here's the lowdown: Pork Asada Bao - 9/10The pork asada bao was a flavor-packed knockout! Juicy pork and tasty seasoning made it a winner. Korean Fried Chicken Bao - 9/10The Korean fried chicken bao was a crispy, saucy delight! It's a spicy, sweet, and crunchy combo that's a must-try. 12-Hour Smoked Brisket Bao - 8/10The brisket bao was good, not mind-blowing, but still a tasty choice. Pork Belly Confit Bao - Pure Bliss! The pork belly confit stole the show! It was like a savory, melt-in-your-mouth dream - my favorite. The service was super friendly, and the food was served hot and scrumptious. I can't wait to get my hands on more baos from this food truck. The parking lot was packed but it was an awesome atmosphere fully of happy people eating it's a flavor adventure worth repeating!

You can find this food truck sometimes at Tasty Takeover every Tuesday, this is where I went. They also always post on their stories where they will be at for the week. I always get the Bao combo which includes two Bao's of your choice and kimchi fries. This time I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken and the Pork Asada. The Korean fried chicken is a tiny bit spicy because of the gochujang(Korean hot pepper paste) which for me makes it perfect! The chicken itself is super crispy and delicious and is topped with coleslaw. The Pork Asada bao is to d*e for! The green sauce is mojo aioli and it usually comes with chicharrones on top but I asked not to have it. The Kimchi loaded fries are also spicy and great! The kimchi is very delightful and the queso fresco pairs really well.If you want it to go, make sure you mention it to the cashier as they don't ask you and it seems to disrupt their flow when its your turn to pick up your order.

The shrimp bao is so so good! The employees are super nice and the menu is easy to read and understand. The food truck moves around we have seen them in Sanford for the monthly food truck fiesta and the 407 food truck fair. The food came out quick for me since I only ordered one bao. They have a pineapple soda that brings you to the beach. The bao is fluffy and airy, its not heavy like a taco but it is a version of a taco. There are some veggies involved so it might as well be healthy amiright?!? I love that I can bring Ranger with us on these adventures and not spend too much money. The bao was $5.25 but they do have a deal for 2 bao and kimchi fries for $14!
