Hollerbach’s German Market

As a Sanford local, I've heard great things about Hollerbach and Hollerbach's German Market. This was my first visit and I really enjoyed the food, the service and my overall experience. Hollerbach's German Market has a cafe and deli with imported cheeses and meats. I was surprised that they also offer breakfast until 2pm. I tried the Red Reubenstein, corn beef with red cabbage and thousand island dressing and paired it with the recommended cucumber salad and the German Cake pop, try it you won't be disappointed. I received great service! The staff were all welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately I did not catch the server's name who helped me but he took great care of me. They offer indoor seating which I suggest because it has an authentic German feel. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend!

Hollerbach's German market is a sideline accompaniment to the Willow Tree or err ... Hollerbach's which is a very nice German market and deli ripe with a cornucopia of all things Germania. Reminds me of Dunderback's and Wunderbar from years past.We like to make a picnic lunch of their sandwiches and get them takeaway along with a few dessert delicacies out of the case to enjoy on the RiverWalk. I'll say, delicious treat as they can be, they're also painstakingly slow making them. I don't care if you're the first or last customer in a confusing line of who's next, they're slow and are always seemingly pressing the limit of how long I'm willing to wait. This last time in, we all got a free show of what's really bugging them about their job. All the drama of who called in sick, who was feeling sick, how messy the night staff left the kitchen, how much extra work they had to do and how tired everyone was from partying the night before. Unbecoming but entertaining enough they should consider starting their own production for the Ritz.

Such a unique and cool spot. From candy to meats, cheeses, sides, and sauces, this place has a little something for everyone. Plus, there's a side to sit and enjoy your purchase as well as a good selection of adult beverages. The staff were all so friendly and helpful in slicing meat, making cheese suggestions, and are happy to teach you about any of their products.

We were driving through Sanford on a Sunday morning on our way home from a family weekend and decided to swing by the market. It opens at 10 am and there were already a good number of people stocking up on the wide array of German and European specialties. We'll be back visiting Sanford in a few weeks and look forward to shopping here. They sell beer, wine, sausages, deli meats, pastries, German food products and souvenirs!

This is Hollerbachs deli . A great place for sandwiches. It has a limited menu, no salads. But a few tables and nice ambiance. Oh and it's cheaper than the restaurant. No service.
