Havana Country Club Restaurant

OK, I get why Havana has such high ratings. The dinning room is beautiful. So generous with space. Beautiful view and amazing tile work.We were also very fortunate to have Tim as our waiter. Nothing makes me happier then to have a seasoned pro. I get the feeling Tim has been slinging hash for decades and his grace, style and professionalism made this meal very special. Very impressed the manager who make certain to visit every table, ask how everything was. That gets high points from me.Food was slightly elevated greatest hits for Lopez and Glenview Country Clubs. Havana is worthy of a return trip.

Aside from the challenging parking situation, the food and employees were great.Luckily, we had reservations and were seated immediately. Our waitress, Allen, was great and very accommodating.The place is casual as we saw people there in golf attire so don't think you need to put on your country club best. Drinks aren't a bargain - not sure if they have happy hour but a mixed drink and glass of wine were each over $11.The Cuban sandwich was good except it came with mustard & pickles which had been requested to omit. Aleen discovered that when she cleared our dishes and even made a comment of "there were pickles on it?" She had told the kitchen but they had missed that request. :/The shrimp carbonara was very authentic.We hope to return again with our friends on our next visit to The Villages.

We have now been here 3 times. The first was great, second not a good experience and this last time was again, really good.I ordered the Salmon and the flavors were really nice! Sort of a teriyaki with a little sweetness. They change their offerings and so, this may not be available when you go there. We also got to meet Corey the Manager. He wanted to make sure everything was good and it was for the four of us. The food came fast even though the place was packed. There's a rewards program and if you go there a few times a year, it's worthwhile to enroll in it. You get a free meal during your birthday month.Other items looked good as well. You can't go wrong with this place when you have very attentive servers and a first class Manager.

Every Birthday I go for drinks n dinner @ Havana ! It's is the best of all the CC restaurants in my opinion. In fact I have labeled the chicken within the CC restaurants as "The Village Chicken" (shhhh) it is sarcasm prob not true AT ALL but when we are home we eat Wegmans organic chicken and it tastes Very different that is all I meant. PLUS close to salt water I ALWAYS go for what it in the seafood section because Lake Ontario is a wonderful view - not providing lobster, crab , shrimp, scallops and fish- Havana is a high class staff and atmosphere aside from golfers at bar. I just adore this place and its lights dim charm, no rush attitude.

We love Fabian, he greets everyone and makes sure everyone is satisfied. He is why we go to Havana. The prices are moderate and the food is good. Drinks are always spot on. This is a casual restaurant with a great wait staff.

It's always great food for my husband and I honestly the best thing is the management actually cares about the patrons they come around and ask how everything is they really care To us it's probably one of our best restaurants we go to most frequently They have made many improvements like having carpeting Love the food and service And it's reasonably priced Our friends are family members are also very pleased to go out with us to Havana Country Club

Well, we came back after a period of trying other restaurants and wanted to be wowed with spectacular food and service. Not so much. Our server must have been over worked, because everything was awfully slow. Our beverage orders were taken and 8 minutes for the waters to come, 15 minutes for the other bar beverages. Our floor showed up by kitchen runners, who did not know what anyone ordered and they almost mixed up a couple of entries with our table of 5. Our hot from the oven buns showed up 4 minutes after our dinners were served. The waitress did show up to see if everything was tasting good almost at the end of the eating. The food was mid grade, not spectacular, but adequate. The waitress tried to entice us with deserts, always trying to upsell, and we passed. 10 minutes later our bills were presented and q5 minutes after she picked up the credit cards, our receipts for signing were fu]I ally brought back. Oh yes, the food was satisfactory, the Marsala sauce and mushroom were a bit skimpy, the veggies were not real hot when delivered. The chateaubriand was cooked well/. And we also noted that the menus were new compared to prior based upon our table mates, who come here fairly often, and they noted prices were increased from the prior menu. Go figure.

Great service! Party of 6 and everyone really enjoyed their food except for the Cuban sandwich.. it was just ok. Chicken parm, quesadillas, chili, chicken Marsala ( my husband cleaned the plate) and I had salmon which was delicious. The place is very pretty... reminds me of the Columbia Restaurant in Tampa. The outside view is pretty.

Family favorite!! We aren't members of the Havana CC, but live in the neighboring village! This is always our favorite spot for lunch. The service is great and the food is even better! We always get the "pick two" combo they have there for lunch and it's the perfect amount!

A fun place to have dinner with friends the atmosphere and staff made our dinner enjoyable. We all thought the food was very good and would come back here again.
