Spoiler alert. Simba can be spotted up on a light pole here in the market as part of The Lion King Scavenger Hunt
Lots of confusion! If you order the sausage it is corn dog on the receipt (and in real life)

Animal Kingdom is probably the best food park. It's hard to pick a place to eat sometimes, which is why I didn't emphasize Harambe Market much. Went here years ago, and would classify as 'just ok'. Low and behold, last Animal Kingdom trip the whole squad plopped down here before I could blink. So I gave it another shot. Definitely can't overlook the decor, which is pretty stellar in my book if nothing else. Menu is very different from when I tried years ago too.Got the Leopard's Eye cocktail for a drink. It wasn't terrible but definitely too fruity (and overpriced) as I expected it to be. Got the shrimp rice bowl for food. All things considered this wasn't too bad. Shrimp were on the small side however they were well spiced and didn't taste like plastic, which is good for Disney. Came with a crapton of rice too. Tzatziki is NOT African however it fit well here, and the tomato salad was fine. By Disney standards, this was a good lunch.Still not my favorite Animal Kingdom counter service option, however you can do worse than this. Really showcases why Animal Kingdom is Disney's best food part on average.

Delicious food! I loved the Jollof rice and chicken. One of the better meals I've had at Disney!

Got hungry for lunch and decided to try something here! There were lots of options, but we ended up going with the shrimp and chicken bowl.It was delicious and filling! We shared one between two of us and it was enough for both of us.It was raining outside, so found a bench to sit at that was covered from the rain.

I don't know about you but as a local Disney park fan, Animal Kingdom always has the best snacks/food. The most unique too! Came here with my sister and boyfriend on New Year's Eve. The line wasn't as long as we thought it'd be and there were a lot of seats in the marketplace. We ordered the chicken and shrimp rice bowl, and a lamb and beef pita plate. The food came out quick and hot and was affordable. Love the tzatziki sauce it came with! They also have alcoholic drinks here too which I have yet to try!

Went to Disney's animal Kingdom and was looking for a place to eat without spending a fortune. So glad we happen upon this place. I got the chicken rice bowl for $12.99. The food was very plentiful and delicious I highly recommend. I was so hungry, unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture, but you will not be disappointed if you try this place.

The food here was insanely good for the price and convenience! You can mobile order from Harambe Market ahead of time and the app will tell you exactly which window to pick up your order at. There is only outdoor seating here. Some of it is covered by umbrellas and shades by trees. They have a mix of picnic benches and tables. Another fun bonus that we benefited from was that there was a cast member walking around the market playing the Kora Tinga Tinga, which is a strong instrument. I believe that there was a mic and speaker hooked up to this too because you could hear it all throughout. As for the food, I highly recommend the ribs. They were seasoned extremely well and super tender. Almost fall off the bone! My combo came with rice and a salad which was topped with a spicy dressing. I probably would have skipped it if I knew in advance. Such a good meal!

Way ImpressedRain, and the threat of rain, were issues at Disney's Animal Kingdom yesterday. Harambe Market is an outdoor eatery, in that you order and pick up your food through windows and they only have outdoor, but mostly covered, seating. It looked full, but my wife is incredibly adept at finding tables. She did her thing while the rest of us got the food. She and I both got their Harambe Salad with Chicken, and both of us were way impressed. These were good sized salads with quite a bit of tasty chicken. As stated on their menu, the salads are Mediterranean influenced, so think olives, Feta cheese, Greek dressing, etc. Sure, we were eating with plastic forks on a damp table, using disposable bowls, but that was ok. I was hungry and this wonderfully corrected that condition. Two things to note, the salad is assembled, not tossed, so ingredients tended to be in one spot in the bowl rather than equally spread out. The other is Harambe Market closes at 3:15. In my humble opinion, that is way too early. I didn't ask why. Hope it is due to a temporary issue.

Ordered food through the Disney app, but note that there's still a wait as you need to first select that you've arrived during your arrival window, and only then will they begin prepping food. When your food is ready, you're given a notification and you show a cast member your notification before being going to your assigned pickup window. From there, you can grab an outside table to eat your meal. The kids meals were about $8 each. The chicken nuggets came in 3 with a small serving of fries, and we opted for a mandarin orange and water. The Dasani water bottle is a mini one. For the chicken and rice, I would recommend adding the hot sauce (available at the self-service counter) to add more zing. The cookie it came with was soft and you also get a choice of drink. If you have a lighter appetite, the kids meals will suffice.

If you are looking for a decent and affordable menu, this restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom is great. The menu is however limited but I find it very kid friendly. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The staff are very quick to sanitize the tables.I enjoyed the setting in this place and it didn't feel very crowded at all.My daughter had the kid's chicken bowl with fries while I had the ribs & chicken bowl. I didn't have high expectations and the food turned out to be very good. My daughter was happy with her rice and fries and we took our time with our lunch. It was a very hot day. I asked for a cup of ice to add onto my water bottle so we could continue on to the next ride.

After a whole week of Disney fast food, I was really excited to eat here as I heard they had healthier options. I wasn't that thrilled to be honest. The so-called fruit market only had red and green apples and then mostly chips. The corn on the cob was great; however, the red spice was a bit too spicy for me. I was a bit disappointed at the Harambe salad which was way too salty and I barely finished it. I was grateful for the corn on the cob and the apples tho as it was probably the healthiest thing I've eaten at the parks.
