Simple, authentic, Sichuan food in the same space as where they used to have simple, authentic Shanghainese food . . . but apparently the business changed owners and the new one was more an expert in Sichuan cuisine, hence the change of cuisine. The key test of the authenticity is how well they can do Dan Dan Noodles and they did very well with this classic dish-subtle flavors, the right amount of Sichuan pepper as well. Good dumplings and cold noodles, too. The space is small, no-frills, and I would guess much of their business is done in take-away as well. However, there is enough room to dine there in comfort and the staff is prompt plus also seems truly interested in their customers enjoying their food. I highly recommend it for casual Chinese right in the heart of Orlando's little Chinatown plaza.

A hidden gem with very authentic Chinese food. No bells and whistles mom and pop shop. Service was efficient and food came out quickly. Prices were good for the portion sizes. Lots of Sichuan cuisine options as well as some soup dumplings and unique cold appetizer dishes. We started with spicy chicken gizzards. Sliced thin and has a nice chewy texture, this app is refreshing and tasted great. Not super spicy which was perfect for me. Then we ordered the tea smoked duck. Nice big portion of duck with plenty of meat, fat and bone ratio. The smokey flavor is brought out in the meat and it was savory but not overly salty. The braised beef tendon casserole came out piping hot. Tendon was tender and easy to eat. Lots of rice vermicelli in it. Plenty of parking in the lot outside and conveniently located in the Chinatown Plaza.

When the husbands out of town, mom and kids will find great Chinese food for lunch! The woman running the shop helped us decide what to get. We got an order of soup dumplings, the shrimp fried rice, noodle soup and the noodle special. Everything was incredibly good and very big portions so we had leftovers! Both my kids enjoyed their meal so much. I'm very grateful for our server who not only recommended dishes but was so kind to the kids (in spite of the mess we made). Can't wait to go again!

Amazing service , perfect food , it's such a hole in the wall you wouldn't know it's there , but it's such a wonderful restaurant. There's good seating and it's clean. Also the food came quickly. I was craving mapo tofu and they had it! And it was amazing! , they gave us free drinks and extra snacks on the house. Such a love for this place I'm going to be coming back regularly.

The price is pretty good, and the taste is okay, but it's just not spicy enough if I add more spiciness!

Another great addition to the Chinatown plaza. This place use to be Shanghai Lane before it was closed down, now it's a delicious Sichuan restaurant. I ordered the Mapo Tofu special and BF got stirred fried pork with bamboo shoots. Every dish we tried was a hit. The flavors were on point, and the portion sizes were generous.Overall, we loved everything about our meal here. The food was outstanding, the service was great, and the atmosphere was comfortable. We'll definitely be coming back for more.

(4/3/2024) We came for a weekday lunch. There were a few other parties there. It's a rather small place and filled up quickly during lunchtime. There is some serious spice and they use full on Sichuan peppercorns (prickly ash), so if you do not like the ma la (麻辣), this may not be the place for you. The place is a chain from China, but in the US aka "Sichuan Alley." We had the Special Rice Noodles, Noodles with Sweet and Spicy Sauce, Ma Po Tofu, 1/2 Tea Smoked Duck, Pumpkin "Pies," Sliced Beef and Ox Tripe in Spicy Sauce. Very savory, piquant, and numbing and tingling. The duck is really smoky and tender and savory. Def worth a visit.

Food is good, authentic. Comprehensive services. Lemon water instead of tap water, extra bowl, clean bathroom, everything's good!
