This shaved ice is truly one of a kind! The flavors are amazing, but the ube with condensed milk is an absolute standout. It's rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a refreshing and delicious treat!

I recently tried this Hawaiian shaved ice place and while it wasn't the best I've had, it was still enjoyable. I got the Creamsicle flavor, and my husband tried the Oreo one. The shaved ice itself was nice, but I felt like the flavors could have been a bit stronger, and the toppings could have been more generous to really elevate the experience. That said, it was still refreshing and satisfying.Since it's a food truck, make sure to check their location ahead of time, as it can vary. It's worth the stop if you're in the area, but not necessarily the best Hawaiian shaved ice around. Overall, a solid option for a sweet treat!

I absolutely loved this place! I came here with my mom trying to satisfy a shaved ice craving, and this place sure did the trick! They have quite a few delicious and some good exotic flavors to choose from, including dairy and non dairy. They ony offer one side, which is a small bowl of up to three flavors. There are two toppings to choose from: whipped cream and/or condensed milk. I went for strawberry and pineapple with lots.of condensed milk despite my lactose intolerance. LOL. All flavors tasted natural and home made. I really could not taste any artificial flavors. The service is outstanding and the ambiance is super outdoorsy. There is no indoor space. This place is located hidden in the back of a small parking lot behind a store. There is some street parking and a small parking lot across the street. Wenhad no issues finding parking on a busy Saturday afternoon. Also, the only payment options are cash, Venmo and Zelle (no credit cards).Overall, 100% recommended. I can't wait to bring more people here!

So my first flavor I tried was the lychee. Floral and simple. It was refreshing and exactly what I needed on a hot day. I think it was li hing mui powder powder that the guy told me would be great on top, and it was a perfect combination. I want to try more of their flavors and will be back till I've tried everything lol. What I love is that majority of their flavors are natural. That means everything! The shaved ice served out of like a cute surfer van in front of what looks like a plant store. Very chill and relaxed vibes.

I have been wanting to try this place out since its opening. The owner was planning to do a AYCE ($45 per person) Luau and I thought that maybe a good time to try out her shave ice stand as well.Got there after work and threw on my hawaiian mu'u mu'u dress on and a little flower on my hair LOLIt is behind the House Of Lang store and its the backyard area. The location was cute. Upon entering you see a swing with a Photo Op wall on your left side. Excellent for selfies and such for social media. Also array of patio furnishings and seatings some had cushions and some do not. She also displayed array of tropical plants for sale. Some were planted inside a SPAM can which was cute. Her Shave Ice truck was in the back underneath a shade and had a menu board up with the flavors for the shave ice. She is asking $7 / $8 for shave ice depending on what flavor and if its fruit or milk based. To me that was kinda pricey considering the size you get and not much topping options. Shave ice is syrup and ice and for her price she need to upgrade her cup sizes. There were barely people attending this Luau event perhaps less than 10 attendees when I arrived. I arrived around close to 5pm. Some were in the hawaiian spirit with the flower on their hair and some had the hawaiian shirts on. As the hour passed more attendees came and some asked if they can bring their cooler filled with alcohol and she was open to it. I thought that was a kind gesture from her part. So in total the attendees were less than 20? The owner was still prepping the tent to serve the buffet style food. So the hot food were served in tin foil pans with the food warmer style presentation. Array of sauces were displayed and stacks of hawaiian bread rolls were presented along with spam musubi's and malasadas. Just by the glance the presentation of the buffet was not appealing to me. It was not easy on the eyes. Its a LUAU so you kind of expect tablescape should have the vibes of island decor etc. I did not see that I saw alot of plants spread out. Presentation wise - I am not sure if this was her first LUAU event but to me it was kinda sloppy. If she chose carefully how to display the spam musubi's and malasadas with the hawaiian rolls it would have made a difference. I noticed she didn't have enough serving utensils and the Mac Salad one of the trays was drowning in water creating a milky wet sauce underneath the mac salad. It looked disgusting. The Spam Musubi were mostly rice filled barely saw the spam inside and they were all uneven thickness etc. They were not molded the authentic way. It seemed like they rushed making the musubi's.So how it worked with cashing out was if you are paying a la carte which is pretty much plate lunch style NO BUFFET you pay towards the shave ice area with your apps of venmo etc . I was hungry so after I paid I went to her and told her my order would be the al a carte. I ordered the huli huli chicken and mac salad. The plate lunch was $19. I got 2 thighs and 2 scoops of mac salad because I didnt want rice and a pc of hawaiian roll. Overpriced? Yes I think so, Once I sat down I sliced the chicken thigh in half - The chicken was partially raw inside. I got up and she was serving another guest and I told her the chicken she served is not cooked. She said she couldn't believe it because the chicken was cooking for 12 hrs. She saw my plate and she made me a new plate this time the chicken portions were a tad bit smaller. But they were cooked. Taste wise - The Huli Huli chicken was good and tender and flavorful I ate 1 out of the 2 pcs of chicken and by the bone area of the chicken I noticed pink and little bit o f blood. After seeing that I stopped eating the chicken. The mac Salad needed more seasoning or "onion juice" also needed some sugar and salt. It was bland. Mayo was right consistency but lack of seasoning. Pasta was el dente.Shave ice - I chose POG with Lilikoi. They poke holes to have that syrup flow in the shaved ice but I noticed the syrup did not fully spread out, So my shave ice lacked of syrup inside. It was an OK shave ice the portion is not much for $7 in my opinion and the lacking of syrup was not any better rating either. Overall - The owner was nice she offered me to grab another plate and she also offered the attendees free food pantry items from a basket to take home such as : hawaiian sun drink can, Curry mix from japan, Ramen noodle packs, Rice crackers mix packets, Asian candy as a few things I remember seeing. I grabbed the Hawaiian Sun drink and Rice crackers snack,The rice crackers were stale. So it made me assume the items she was giving out were perhaps expired from her pantry? This was a honest review and some may read it as negative compared to her 5 star ratings based solely on her shave ice .. But this review was based on her LUAU event recently, The food served and her shave ice. Before she let everyone eat she acknowledged us attendees and thanked us for comin

Absolutely to die for- some of the best shaved ice I have ever had. We had the mango flavor with their cream on top and oh my goodness. It really hit the spot as a great dessert. The shaved ice doesn't have that fake syrup either, you can tell that everything is made with real ingredients and they also have everything in their camper on display so you can watch them make it. Not only is the shaved ice flavorful and delicious but the atmosphere is also stellar. We came at night which I would highly recommend as you can see the beautiful stringing lights that hang around the property and tables and chairs. There are cute eclectics everywhere including bikes hanging on the tree and discs on the walls of the buildings. It just gives it a nice unique touch. The most beautiful place to eat shaved ice for sure.

Finally made it to Hanalei! I honestly didn't know this was outside in the backyard of house on lang, such a cute addition tucked away in the corner lot of the yard. The owner is such a sweetheart and so kind! She took the time to go over the menu since it was my first time there and I truly appreciate that! I had the Lilikoi (aka passionfruit) topped with lihing, which was reminded me of tajin, but not tajin! The shave ice was delicious and so good on such a warm day. They surprisingly had a goat yoga event so I was able to have my shave ice while seeing some cute baby goats. My boyfriend got the mango shave ice, which was also delicious. There were tons of options to pick from and even some warm treats, so I'm most definitely making my way out again to try them! Overall, such a cute spot, so relaxing and chill to come share some shave ice with friends or a date!

Hanalei is actually located behind the house on lang, so of course you have to park up and walk through the house that features clothes and items you can buy to add to your home editions! Parking varies depending on the day and how busy it is in general, but for the most part it was really easy and quick to find a spot and head on over. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the service and what they had to offer. So delicious, and with this Florida heat, you gotta come and get some iceeees to cool off. I ordered the mango which was topped with fresh mangoes. It was sooo good cause the ingredients were natural and the syrup had little bits of pieces of the fruit itself. Environment is great, relaxing, and outdoor with places to sit , relax, and enjoy the moment. Definitely want to be back here with a Group of friends to enjoy this treat, talk and relax.

Honestly the best SHAVE ice I have ever had outside of hawaii. It's so authentic and the ambiance is so cute and cozy. Hanalei is in a little trailer behind house on lang, under a huge oak tree. The owner grew up in hawaii and knows what she is doing! The ice is shaved from an original shave ice machine so it's perfect. All the flavors are homemade and I love the Lilikoi. The best one I've had to date is the Cup of Coffee. WOW was that delicious. I continue coming back to Hanalei for the amazing hospitality from the owner and the delicious and authentic shave ice. Do yourself a favor and stop by, hours are limited!
