This is a small family joint with amazingly fresh and awesome sushi!The Volcano Scallops were surprising! We loved em. Served warm with lettuce cups. Very tasty!I was most impressed by the lack of cream cheese on the menu!! Seems to be trendy in central Florida to include cream cheese in sushi rolls and i for one think this is sacrilege!! The rolls here are diverse in their fish and prep. Really goood sushi!Don't miss this hidden gem in Altamonte!

Came here on a lunch date with my twin sister. We were both craving sushi and needed a redo from a sushi place we had while she was here that was beyond disappointing. Anyways this post is about Hana Sushi!!! Small establishment, but very cute. Appeared to be one server at the time when we went. Very welcoming and smiled encouraging us to sit anywhere. Sushi was on point! You can taste the different rolls. Menu did offer other items for non sushi lovers. Picture to showcase. Definitely will be back!!

Nice quiet place to grab fresh sushi. The service was decent. We ordered a few rolls and had soup and seaweed salad. Everything was priced accordingly, no complaints there. I would definitely come back To explore the menus a lot better.

I came here with 3 other people for lunch. The food was good, but very slow to come out. The service itself was good, but the food took a long time to be prepared. We had ordered the regular lunch specials. I feel like lunch specials should be quicker to prepare, especially for people coming in on their work lunchtime. I probably wouldn't come back since it took such a long time, if I did, I would get to-go.

Rolls are loose and rice isn't cooked evenly. Pork dumplings came out cold. Water tastes gross, so order their warm bottled water instead. Flavors are all so odd.

Oo man this place. Definitely not a place I would come back to again. The quality is sketchy. I order a couple spicy salmon rolls and they gave me I believe tuna not sure but those weren't even edible either.

I will say coming here, it was worth it for a fresh dinner. I had sushi and ginger salad. The staff said hi and seated us immediately. I got the dinner special 3 regular rolls for 13.99. The location is pretty cute like a nice home feel. Light decor, and you can even see the bar area where they prep the sushi. I ordered the chicken tempura, California roll, and Florida roll. Everything was fresh and tasty. I will definitely be back for lunch or dinner.

It was a party of four of us and everyone concurred that it was definitely a very low end sort of sushi place. We had a mixture of items, from the chicken teriyaki, which was decent to the sushi rolls, which were not.

Food 3 stars / service 4 starsWe were heading to the AMC nearby, and my friend suggested Hana. I had not been there in a very long time since the last meal (hibachi) was less than stellar. Went with the Hana Bomb ($11), katsu roll ($7), and sexy lobster roll ($18) this time. The hana bomb was slightly different on the outside with but it was still tasty. The katsu had absolutely no flavor to it, whereas the sexy lobster was a very thick roll with a decent taste. There was only one server, but she was great with our soft drinks and bringing our meals out in a timely fashion.

Rude staff, arguing amongst the staff loudly, long wait to even take order or bring waters, one of the roles was not as ordered and this restaurant needs a deep cleaning (e.g., the floors are very sticky, high chair was dirty...). The sushi was so so. Will not return.
