Habaneros Mexican Grill

Loved the authentic atmosphere and food. Wish you had flour chips!Salsa was great but chips disappeared when our meal came. That said the combination plate were awesome! Tamales, enchiladas, rice, and the huge highlight was the corn. We ordered some for appetizer but it was soooo yummy we had to order a bowlful!!! My favorite restaurant on our vacation. Don't sleep on this one or pass it for a new shiny restaurant--this is the place to go!!Great service too!!

Great Mexican ambience. Food is consistently delicious and plenty of it. Service very good; however, my husband and I recently had lunch there, and they added a $1.95 fee for using a card, and we our debit card, NOT a credit card. Will not be going back, and it's not about the $1.95, it's the principal. I told them that we dine at many different restaurants, and no one charges a fee for using plastic. Shame on them.

Great atmosphere and food, service can be hit or miss, but doesn't detract from the experience. Habaneros is absolutely one of my favorite Mexican places to eat in the Orlando / WP area. It reminds me a lot of west coast Mexican food. They have recently re-done their menus, and have added a plethora of items to it. Their portions are plentiful, and they are always on it with their serving times. Between my partner and I, we have tried close to everything on the menu over the years and have never had anything we didn't immediately enjoy.

I went on a Thursday evening with a couple friends. When I came around 6pm, it was pretty crowded. However, we still got seated at a high table near the bar. Even though it was after happy hour, there was a special for a big sized margarita for only 11 dollars. When it came, I was stunned how big it was. I was expecting a smaller fishbowl sized one, but it was a big cup that I could barely hold. And it wasn't watered down at all. It was a refreshing margarita with a generous account of tequila. Even before halfway finishing the drink, I was feeling tipsy. So to be safe, I stopped halfway. For my entree, I did 2 chicken enchiladas and 1 chicken taco combo (14.50). The enchiladas had a nice amount of tender chicken with cheese on top. The sauce was tasty, but mild. Thankfully they had hot sauce to add up the picante. The rice was a good side, and the taco was more hard shell, so I enjoyed the chicken and other fillings inside it. I skipped dessert as I was still feeling tipsy and walked to the mall with my friends instead. The service was quick and friendly. I was surprised the food came pretty fast while still being delicious. While the restaurant was a bit crowded, it was more quiet in the bar area, with still some empty seats. There were two donkey statues at the center, and one had a saddle. However, I was sadly told that there was an age and weight limit for getting on them, so this poor cowboy was left out. Triste (sad). Mexican music was playing in the background, and you can easily hear the piped mariachi music outside. There is another Habenaros near UCF, but I was told this was the better one. And I highly agree. The margarita special on Thursday was big and strong, and the food was delicious. This looks to be underrated and is a very nice Mexican restaurant for a reasonable price in the Oviedo area.

I've never had a problem here! I'm Always sat immediately and food comes out super hot and fast. Huge portions! Bring the kids because the kids meal is pretty big. This is my go to for tacos in the area. We always leave full. Very yummy!

My sister and I sat at the bar and she had the carnitas tacos served with rice and beans with a green verde sauce that my sister actually drank, she loved all of it!! There were 3 tacos that we shared. Then, even though I didn't need it I ordered deep fried cheesecake bites and I didn't like it at all! But the food was delicious! The bartender Karen, was awesome!!

Habaneros is a fantastic place to enjoy great food and a great evening. We started with some happy hours margaritas and beers, and that turned into meeting some other unexpected friends for a family dinner! Across the table, we shared burritos, fajitas, tacos, and enchiladas. All of them were absolutely delicious and the prices are impossible to beat. Service was fantastic, especially for our group size. We will be returning on a regular basis!

Lunch steak Fajitas !!! The portions are great for lunch. The margaritas are strong and very delicious. The steak Fajitas had a great taste. My favorite is the salsa!! The waiter needs to be a little more attentive but other then that it was a great first experience here.

First time eating there and i am definitely going again 10/10. They even added tortilla chips and salsa whoch was a great addition to the meal, and it was a delivery either doordash great food,

Habs is a go to spot for me. The food is honestly super good and you're getting what you would expect. Their margaritas... well it it like Jesus himself crafted them. The service is always spectacular and no matter how busy they are they always deliver to the table. The restaurant gives classic Mexican restaurant and has a cute outside patio area. Habs may of had a reputation before but definitely give it a try now!
