Habaneros Mexican Grill

Mediocre food, but very good drinks. The service was good, but they forgot our guacamole so we had to cancel it. The decor is a bit dated and cheesy.

This is the finest establishment to eat at East of the Mississippi. I have never felt the warm welcome of a Mexican restaurant until I ate here. This drink service was amazing although my friend MMM, didn't think so. Everyone else at our table had service fantastic. Best love to everybody else tombstone Johnson out peace!

Chose to have some mexican food and have heard great raves on this place. The servers were very polite and helpful... but everything else was just your average Mexican food. I ordered the shrimpChimichanga and honestly ended up getting two sloppy dripping wet soggy burritos. I was so excited for this dish but honestly just ended up eating the shrimp with the chips. The drinks were okay, nothing special. On to the next Mexican spot.

Below-average Mexican food. The only good thing about this location is that it's in the college area. The service wasn't bad, they were attentive to us when we needed assistance. Everything was pretty bland; the food was not up to par for me. If there's one thing I love, it's refried beans, and the ones at Habaneros were GRAY and flavorless. I am aware of multiple Habaneros locations, so I might give them another shot elsewhere, but I'd highly avoid the UCF location.

I have been coming here since I was in middle school, you can never go wrong w/ Habaneros and the margs are great! Service was fine, food was great, and it's in a convenient location

This placeis really good for michelada and authentic Mexican food. A lot places don't have Chori Pollo and this location does. They even have the majority of the desserts you normally don't find. The service could be a little more attentive. The location wasn't that busy and it took the staff a little long to come back out to the patio and check on the two parties there. Other than that, it's a great location and free parking.

We came here for dinner while staying in a nearby hotel. We decided to take it to-go as we were exhausted from a long drive. When we walked in, there were 3 people at the counter. When we stated that we had ordered on the phone for pickup, the lady (didnt get a name) just rolled her eyes and went to grab it? Like okay? Sorry to bother you?... We ordered a #1 and a #5 combination dinner meal. My boyfriend dislikes the red sauce on enchiladas and they did make sure there was none on there per request, which was good as sometimes other restaurants forget. By the time we got to the hotel (less than 5 away from this restaurant), my taco shell was completely soggy and not even kind of crunchy. It was overall disappointing. We also ordered salsa and guacamole. We are both fans of chunky salsa and guacamole but the salsa was pure liquid, almost looked watered down. The guacamole was okay... nothing special (not to mention they didnt even fill the container when it was an additional $5-$6). There are so many other nice restaurants near this area. I wouldn't dine here again.

Food is amazing. Incredible service. Love their margaritas happy hour. Good environment
