Best greasy spoon breakfast in Sanford. Tiny place with big portions of delicious, inexpensive breakfasts and lunch. Great prices and better food than other joints on 17-92. It's easy to miss it driving past, but that's part of the family-owned appeal and that resonates into the jovial, friendliness of the other patrons. All the servers are super friendly and attentive, especially Mary. My favorite place for breakfast.

Little restaurant right off 17/92. Not too appealing from the outside neither on the inside, typical family dinner, but breakfast was good. Good old southern breakfast. Main dishes, 2 eggs any style, choice of home fries or grits, choice of bacon, sausage, or ham, biscuit or toast. Similar to a Dennys restaurant but, to me, better. It's a place where locals come from all ethnicities, love it. Many of the knew each other so it's was fun to watch and hear. My daughter ordered home fries with gravy.. a new to us, gravy was delicious and also a side of bacon.. nice and crispy. One thing that some people may not like is the fact that they don't add salt to anything including the hime fries but I personally like that I can control my salt intake. Overall, after a not so good visual impression, I really enjoy my breakfast. They also have omelettes, pancakes and French toast.I am definitely going to be back just for their grits. Yummy. Restaurant is small so by the time we left there was a line, so that is a good sign. I'm giving them 4 stars because the place needs a little bit of upgrading.

Almost didn't go into this restaurant after pulling up in front. Definitely a neighborhood dive diner by all appearances. Our waitress was friendly. We all ordered omelettes. Cheese choices for omelettes only included American and Swiss. Omelettes were good but would have preferred cheddar cheese. I ordered grits. I'm not from the south and haven't had much experience with grits. I thought the grits were ok, but not best I've tried. Prices were very inexpensive. Breakfast for 3 with coffees came to under $22. As I said previously, this is very obviously a neighborhood diner. Locals coming in for takeout all through our meal. One young man came in blaring his music and they never once asked him to turn it down. It was loud enough to impede conversation at our table. Otherwise, a decent meal with good service.

Cheap cheap cheap. Very cheap. Cheap as in my decently sized cheese omelet with home fries and toast and coffee was only $4.95. The only thing about this place is that it absolutely a hole-in-the-wall and compared to the place I went to across the street, leaps and bounds better.Service was good. Maybe the food took a bit to be cooked by I arrived just at the beginning of a bit of a rush or regulars. Yep, people who sit in the same booth and the waitress asks, "Your regular today, Mister Smith?"H&M, oh yes.

Definitely a hole in the wall Town e type Diner but it was amazing! Service was great, the breakfast was huge. I ordered this giant multi meat omelette that had peppers and mushrooms and everything in it also came with a biscuit, it was unbelievable. My gf ordered eggs along with grits which were outstanding!

This little gem gives new meaning to don't judge a book by its cover. Everyone was friendly, the food was great , portions were large and the prices were extremely reasonable. I will definitely be coming back to try something different on the menu.
