I am actually impressed! This place was really good. As a vegetarian, there are so many options for both vegan and vegetarian ! Partly why I love Indian food, the other part is the taste. Menu: I love how they listed out which dishes were either vs me having to ask which is what for each dish and everything is in separate categories! This made it much easier to decide what to eat! Dinning room: There's plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating. All the tables are lined with white linen table clothes and already preset with water glasses, sharing plates and silverware so it gives off a set dinning feel. The food itself: I got the vegetable bhuna with light spice and onion garlic naan. First off, their naan!!!!! So so so good! Their naan is some of the best naan I've tasted. It was so fresh, so light and had a decent amount of seasoning on it. It says "clay oven Indian bread," so I presume a tandoor oven! It was cooked to perfection! I really want to try their other naans. The bhuna was served with basmati rice. A little more spice than I expected for light spice. But it was still really good!! I can see it being "too spicy" for those who are sensitive to spicy but if you enjoy spicy, they also have medium, hot and fire. Price: the food is a bit pricey! The good thing is, although my meal was $25, there was enough for a second meal (at least for me). The break down ends up being around $12.5 for 2 meals (which is standard). Though, if you're dinning with multiple people, it would be great for sharing! Service: there was a lot of staff but everyone was very nice and attentive! I did ask my server for recommendations and she was able to help guide me through a few options!Overall: I would love to try other things! Definitely will be back!Side note: (completely out of their control but for the building they are located in) outside of the restaurant it's a bit dark, esp at night.

So glad to have found this spot, as I had a craving for paneer Tikka masala. I ordered mine medium, but will try spicy next time. Portion was good, with leftovers for tomorrow.Garlic naan was also delicious, along with their homemade mango ice cream. The ice cream was two hefty scoops and enough to share. The only thing I would add is that my husband's chicken Tikka was on the dry side. We both agreed, but he ate his entire portion, as it was still good!

We ordered from here through Uber Eats. The food came in small containers so it was not a good value for the price. We ordered extra spicy and it came with a nice spice level. The naan bread was really good. We had some Uber credits to use. I wouldn't order from here if we were paying full price.

This place is a hidden gem. The restraunt itself is vey nice inside. Would be good for a date night. The building itself is a little odd. The food was very good. They bring out crispy bread (Papadums) before your meal which I felt was a nice addition to our meal. I got the kofta. It was very good and was so much food I brought some home with me. Next time I will ask for medium because the mild is very mild. The sever was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be going back

can't say enough about how much we loved guru, we did the light spice level for each plate and it was so so good!! the service is amazing, we were checked on by the owners and our server. the ambiance is so nice, such a warm&& welcoming atmosphere, our leftovers filled the take out boxes so we had two nights of guru, so happy i finally made it in person!!

service was fantastic and very friendly. the onion bhaji were terrible with a bitter taste. They appeared to have been pre cooked and then reheated. Hardly any onions or flavor to speak of. I was here a yr ago and had the onion naan which was baked with tons of caramelized onions inside the actual dough and piping hot and whole raised into a ball. what i was served this time were precooked and sliced and pried open a a few diced raw onions were sprinkled inside. terrible and not what it had been before. lamb saag wala had frozen spinach and not a hint of coriander. The lamb madras was unremarkable with too much curry leaves. Uday has lost his touch.

Great service and excellent food. There is no lunch menu or lunch specials, which is disappointing, but that just means you'll have plenty of leftovers as the portions are very generous. We tried the garlic naan, the chicken vindaloo, and the saag paneer. All of our dishes came out quickly and were hot and fresh. I ordered the chicken vindaloo hot spice level, and it had a nice kick that I would describe as more of a medium. There is both outdoor and indoor seating, and plenty of windows and natural light inside. I also noticed that glasses of wine are 11oz pours!

Beyond just restaurants, dare I say, Guru is one the best things to do in Clermont. Each authentic Indian dish is pleasantly and consistently prepared so it is easy to go in a different tasting journey on each visit.
