5 Star update for my new favorite salad spot. There, I said it.The first thing I have to mention is the size of the bowl. This is a HUGE portion! I couldn't finish it all even though every bite was better than the last. I suggest getting a build-your-own-bowl and making it fully customized to your mood. I was feeling the complete proteins and legumes today, so I opted for Arugula, spinach, and quinoa as the base (yay for the ability to get three bases! AND they're all organic). For my protein, the roasted chicken was calling my name. I also added artichoke (these were THICCCC boys, yum!), avocado, black beams, eggs, and the basil lime dressing on the side. Let's talk about this dressing. I usually get my dressings on the side because I like to use them sparingly, but this basil lime dressing was so chunky and fresh that I used the whole thing. If this was shelf-stable and available, I would absolutely buy a bottle and put it on everything.Overall, a great portion, each ingredient could stand on its own, it's healthy, and it's family-owned. Count me in!Previous review:5 Stars for convenience and ease of ordering as well as a super friendly owner and healthy options! At first I thought Greenbeat was a large corporate chain (the clean aesthetic and branding gave me that impression), but as I ordered I ended up talking to the owner, Lilly, and realized it was a family biz. Yay for locally-owned spots!I went through the line and opted for the Farro bowl with shrimp added to it. I really appreciated that they put all of the elements into a large metal bowl and mix the whole thing before putting it in the to-go bowl for you. This means it is well-dressed and mixed (versus large bites of each ingredient on its own like other build-your-own-salad spots). I also appreciated the size (BIG).For the vegetarians, I've got a pro-tip: Ask for tofu, because they have it in the back! This knowledge came in handy when my vegetarian husband went in a week or so later.Overall, a really great addition to Baldwin Park. Simple, Delicious, and quick. I guess I can no longer claim that I got Five Guys because it was the only quick option on the Ave... ;)

Ok, ok...I've definitely been sleeping on Greenbeat! I just tried it for the first time this week and then had to immediately order it again the next day for lunch because it was that good. There are a lot of bowl places around town, but Greenbeat stands out among the rest. It's also worth noting that they are not a chain (3 locations) and are locally owned & operated. It's no secret that eating out and also trying to be healthy usually comes with a hefty price tag, but I will say for a $15-18 bowl, it is a very generous portion, jam packed with fresh ingredients. There's no skimping on the toppings here (see photos). Also, additional toppings are only $.75 (even avocado) which is pretty rare these days.I'm not a build-your-own bowl type of gal because the decision fatigue is real and I don't like having to think that hard about my lunch. Luckily, their signature creations all sound amazing, making my order quick and easy. All of their bowls are also clearly labeled which ones are gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, etc. in case you have any dietary restrictions. The first bowl I tried was the Farro Bowl (spinach, farro, arugula, mango, feta cheese, cranberries, almonds, and balsamic vinaigrette) and added roasted chicken. I was so impressed that the next day I ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl (arugula, quinoa, cucumbers, mango, radishes, avocado, tomatoes, balsamic vinaigrette, lime, and watermelon ahi tuna). The tuna was beautiful and I loved how colorful and fresh all of the ingredients were. All in all, I am hooked and definitely adding Greenbeat into the lunch rotation!

A perfect salad!! Yes, please. The Ahi Tuna Poki is amazing (which comes with the watermelon tuna as well). Perfect combination. The girls working were so friendly and helpful. Super convenient to get to on the corner and great seating. We will return.

I went to Greenbeat as a recommendation from one of my coworkers. I had no idea this place even existed, but I think it's an awesome concept! It's nice to see more healthy restaurants pop up around all the unhealthy choices you could choose from. When I went inside there was already a line up at the register to order, but the staff there got through the orders pretty fast! At Greenbeat you have the option to order one of their signature salads which comes in one size (large), you can make a custom bowl in either the small or large size, or you can get a smoothie. I decided to create my own small salad with romaine, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, radishes, feta, mojito shrimp, and balsamic. Everything paired so nicely together, and the best part was that it was all fresh ingredients from that day! As with all health food places, your items are going to be more expensive than average, but I honestly didn't mind the cost for the quality I received.

This place is awesome! Healthy and delicious? Yes please. I love the menu setup allowing for customization or curated items. My favorite by far is the Nostra Salmon but all the ingredients are fresh and delicious. And bonus points for super reasonable prices! Honestly, I feel most places serving similar fare charge at least $2-3 more per bowl. The workers are always friendly and the place is exceptionally clean. I find a lot of counter service restaurants to overlook the cleaning of tables and general upkeep near the beverage machine, but this is not the case at greenbeat. Definitely a good spot to add to your Baldwin Park lunch rotation!

Maybe we ordered the wrong things but the poke bowl and açaí bowl were not our favorite! I will def be back to try their other sauces.I do have to say that everyone here is super sweet. They seem alittle short staffed since we had to wait before it was our turn but hoping to come back and give their other bowls a try!

Convenient & easy but also so fresh & tasty. I built my own salad with arugula, spinach, corn, avocado, mango, & chicken. I love when places allow BYO.Inside is meticulously clean. Inside has huge windows & high ceilings - a little echoey, so I had some difficulty hearing what others were saying.Staff was great. Special shout out to the employee who rinsed out my water bottle for me.I would definitely come back, especially if I was on a time crunch. No sacrifice in quality for quick.

The salads were delicious! Bright and clean place. The service was good and speedy. I got Thea go shrimp salad and it was really refreshing. I also got the iced chai tea latte which tasted great on a hot day.

This new Greenbeat location just opened up in Baldwin Park. It is bright and clean, they have a wonderful selection of toppings, homemade hummus and a variety of dressing to choose from so I went with one of their suggested made bowls, the savory shroom one. It had spinach, quinoa, mushrooms, broccoli, arugula, almonds, and more. When I ordered I also asked if I can get chickpeas but when I sat down to start eating I noticed I was given chickpeas which was a bummer. The salad was tasty but the broccoli was so spicy, it didn't seem to match with this particular salad. I wouldn't get the broccoli again. They also seem to have natural juices which i would try next time. Overall it has potential and will give it another shot. They also gave us free tasting samples of the homemade hummus which is very good.

I am so happy to have this in Baldwin Park. It was a much needed add to the neighborhood. My coworkers and I planned to get lunch there and decided to use their online ordering system. We all loved to see the many options that were offered. We placed our orders at the same time, but didn't really get an ETA which confused us. We decided to walk over after 15 min.Once we got there, it seemed like the bowls were made when we got there rather than ahead of time. I'll have to ask next time, but just a heads up. Plus side, fresh bowls without walking through the line. The staff was so nice there and offered us a sample of the homemade hummus - yummm. We walked back to our office and chowed down. We were all happy with our bowls. It's so nice to have something like this especially since we are gut conscious and really love our greens and veggies. Highly recommend a visit!
