Gozamba Restaurant & Lounge

I visited again on a Tuesday for the tequila, tacos, and toro (TTT) promotion. I made a reservation though OpenTable and arrived quite early. I wasl seated in a high tabletop, close to the mechanical bull that was getting setup. I decided to try an alcoholic drink and did the house margarita for 14 dollars. It was a refreshing drink, but I first felt it was not strong enough for that amount of money. However, a bit later, the buzz came and gave me a small fiesta. For the TTT Tuesday promotion, they have a special menu where I could get a burrito for 12 dollars. I chose the chicken option. It was supposed to have chicken, rice, beans, pico de gayo, guacamole, and lettuce. When it came, it was pretty small. There was lettuce on the bottom and a flower as garnish. When I tasted the burrito, I could taste the chicken, beans, and rice. However I didn't see or taste any guacamole or pico de gayo. If was still a good and filling burrito with a nice amount of tender chicken. The rice and beans made the burrito satisfying for my hunger. For dessert, my server suggested the cheesecake for 9 dollars. There were two small slices, but it was rich and had a chocolate for flour crust in the bottom, making it decadent. It was a very nice end. When the check came, I noticed that I was given a 2 dollar happy hour discount (even though I came after the happy hour), making the drink only 12 dollars. That was a nice gesture. My server was friendly and checked up on me a couple times. However, it can get busy and stressed when it gets more crowded later in the evening. The atmosphere is still nightclub vibes with dancing Latin music (and it can be loud). I believe there was a dj as well. I was surprised that I didn't see any bouncers during my visit. The mechanical bull comes every Tuesday, and it is free to all guests who buy food or drinks. Some rode it, and when it got more crowded, you can hear people cheering riders to stay on. Of course, I would not be cowboy Arun without riding it as well. I took a couple rides and it was so much fun. For the TTT Tuesday promotion, it is a worth the visit. The prices are reasonable, the food and drinks are good, and mechanical bull ride is definitely fun. I will still recommend this restaurant for good and fun Latin food near the Florida mall.

Your frustrating experience at Gozamba Restaurant.Decorations, Nice, but the ambiance was unusual with many patrons not dressed appropriately for a dinner setting.Waiter, Jesus introduced himself and took your orders.We started with margaritas, mojitos, queso frito, and ceviche de pescado. Later we ordered carne frita and viste encebollado, along with lomo saltado.El viste encebollado came muy salado. Y El Lomo Saltado trajo mas papas fritas Que lomo meat, which was surprising.- After ordering more drinks, Jesus abruptly mentioned is anything else you guys want ? We responded back by saying not at this moment we just got the drinks , Hes responde was we need the table, which felt disrespectful. We noticed that there were no guests waiting outside for a table.We felt as paying customers, you deserved better treatment. The experience left a negative impression, and we wouldn't recommend the restaurant to others. Btw, we aren't visitor we are local residents. I can't imagine how other guess get threted Feb 15,2025

The restaurant is pretty! I do feelLike is over priced for what it is. The food was very salty and the staff service was not so good. They were very rude to us. It was 3 of us and we want it to share the desert but they only brought two spoons which is rude. I asked for water twice and twice I got ignored. The ambiance is nice so many people we're celebrating their birthdays including me but hey do need to do better with the service. Our server rolled her eyes when we ask for water. Also be prepared to be charged 4% service fee charge for using the card which was ridiculous. The birthday desert tasted old.

Music was booomin. The seafood mofongo was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Our sever was also extremely attentive which i appreciate.

We went here for their Sunday brunch and it was a great time. The dj was awesome and the service was quick. I loved how everyone was dancing by the time brunch ended. To eat, I had the bistec encebollado with chimichurri on the side along with white rice and maduros. The food was very tasty along with the drinks.

I appreciated that all the staff was nice and didn't mind practicing Spanish with me. Especially Massi, she was really patient and made me feel more comfortable/confident speaking.. I appreciated that a lot. I was visiting and I don't get to speak Spanish with a native speaker often. Pescado A Lo Macho Shrimp Alfredo YUCA FRITA: I should have gotten TWO sides of these !!!Pescado Frito: I liked it but wished it wasn't fried so hardI liked that this place was so lively and had good music. I know the tables turn over but I wanted to stay and dance, there just didn't seem to be much room to do so.. so, we weren't sure if that was actually a thing since it was our first time there. But I didn't want to hog the table all night either and mess up the $$ for Massi; I didn't know how it worked. So, I kind of felt a little pressure to leave right after eating. It honestly was as if they had not changed the grease, and like they'd cooked them far too long. I'd like to try some somewhere else to see if that's a signature taste for that dish or not.Tostones: Very Dry and Bland PESCADO Frito: this was fried really hard, so it was a little dry to me, the flavor was fresh but it seemed overcooked which I was kind of sad about.

We came here for Brunch. Starting with the food it was really good, the Dominican Sancocho is the best I've had in Orlando. Both items were tasty and had lots of flavor. However for Brunch they have a special where you can get unlimited mimosas or sangrias included with your meal. Our waitress barely came to our table to refill the mimosas, they give you one small glass at a time and come by to refill. I didn't have mimosas with my meal as I wasn't going to drink but everyone else did and found it odd they had to come refill and it would be a very long time in between the drinks for my friends. When it came to the paying everyone's total was $35 for the food and unlimited drinks she tried to get me to pay the same price and I told her that's incorrect one of my friends been here before and it's $20 for just the food. I thought that was very sneaky, I can't even drink since I clearly was pregnant. Other than that the music is very loud, it is fun Latin music vibe but you can barely hear the people in your party so be prepared for that.

If you love luxury this is not the spot! If you cherish your ability to hear for the remaining portion of your life this is not the spot! If you desire classy! NOPE- look away. Now if you love that hooka, waitresses with tight clothes, not so great quality food and you just want to go for the club atmosphere- this is your spot. We came at 8pm, we made reservations but their NYE event was starting at 9:30pm. The hostess called us to confirmed we were coming for dinner and not for their experience. We confirmed! When we arrived - she hinted to my wife- that we need to hurry up. Ok? But we went with it! I read the prior reviews from other people and they are not lying! You can't even hear your own thoughts! We could barely hear our waitress. I'm shocked that the workers still have their hearing intact after they get off their shifts! It has low ceilings which makes it even worse. We ordered the VIP burger. It was just ok. Special blend of meats with sweet plantain. I would suggest making it 2 patties because of how thick it was you can't take a bite without cracking your jaw! The concept of the burger is to eat it all in one bite so you can taste all the fusion of the burger. Burger was a bit overcooked and dry but seasoned pretty well. Nothing outrageous! It tasted like I made it myself at home! So save your money there! My wife ordered the Paella- Puerto Rican style! Totally not!!!!! The worst we have ever had!!! The steak in it was not bad! It had 4 shrimp. It had pork and it was also dry. No longaniza. Chicken super dry. Usually this dish is infused with great flavor and meat!! Rice tasted like it was uncle Ben! The absolute worst pallet. Take it off your menu please. It's not worth $35. Aesthetics are fire! Waitress was good with us. Great place for gram pics! Never coming back tho!

Was a horrible experience to late the service also the menu is not the same that they post in the social media. Really bad place .
