Golden Oak Outpost

I walked all the way deeo into the park for this sweet potato fries! You can just order the fries without chicken nuggets even though it's not an option on the menu.It was very good for a stand quick bite! Enjoyed it all.

Quick service order at a window walk to seating. Ordered the hot honey chicken nuggets with sweet potato fries. Came with an olive relish so make sure you like that if not order without. The hot honey was a little drenched so next time I'll order it on the side. Large portion came with about 4 large nuggets and a hefty portion of the fries. Shareable plate is you're trying to eat your way around. Overall very good considering MK food can be hit or miss.

i love me some fresh beignetsss. they were great per usual, kind of sad they weren't mickey shaped but they put wayyyy too much powdered sugar on top that made it unbearable and very messy

We ordered their Beignets & lavender lemonade which came out pretty quickly once you get through the line. The lemonade was refreshing and subtly floral. They top the beignets with plenty of powdered sugar but they're mostly air on the inside as opposed to chewy dough. But they did still come out fresh from the fryer. Quick and easy place to stop by.

Tried Tiana's beignets with honey which comes with 3 and lots of powdered sugar. They were served hot but cool quickly. The honey adds a nice texture and helps the powdered sugar adhere. The staff was friendly and served the food quickly.

Golden Oak Outpost has just dropped their new menu for Tiana's Bayou Adventure! This is one of the more unique quick service stands in Magic Kingdom and I was so excited to try their new items. Service is fast and everything looked great. Seating is limited and you may have to wander to find a table, but you'll likely find one. I tried three items: the beignets, shrimp gumbo with sweet potato fries, and the lavender lemonade. The beignets (3ct) were hot, fresh, and fluffy. The honey and powdered sugar were straight out of the movie. The shrimp gumbo was a good portion and had great flavor. However, I felt like there was way too much okra and the texture was pretty slimy. The lavender lemonade was bright and refreshing. Overall, I loved the new menu and I'm excited to come back for more!

Displace is a quick service establishment at Walt Disney World's Magic kingdom park, located and the edge of frontierland, so it hits that southern charm. Let me tell you, Tiana's famous vignets were just amazing. They were sweet, full of sugar and honey. Now, the shrimp gumbo with sweet potato fries, we're out of this world. I kept dipping those fries on the gumbo, and I was just almost licking the plate. The cast members have the location, even recommending me this dish. It was a nice and refreshing location, and you have a view of the new attraction Tiana's bayou adventure.

I finished riding Tiana's Bayou Adventure and found myself craving beignets and Disney had me covered! Right around the corner from the ride is the Golden Oak Outpost and they have Tiana's Famous Beignets! They were hot, golden, covered in powdered sugar, and a drizzle of honey! So good!! These are similar to "traditional" beignets and are hollow inside. Different from the Mickey-shaped ones at Scat Cat's Lounge that are more similar to donuts. Golden Oak Outpost is a walk-up counter and then has shaded, outdoors seating nearby. There was no line when I was there and I walked right up to get my beignets and drink.

Were they just Disney chicken nuggets? Yes. Did they do amazing things with the flavor? Absolutely! There was a nice amount of hot honey and I really liked the olives on top. There wasn't much of a line and service was pretty quick considering it was lunch time. Liked having a shaded area to enjoy my mid afternoon lunch.

The Golden Oak Outpost sits on the far edge of Adventureland bordering Frontierland. It is counter service only. We stopped here during the very Merry Christmas party to purchase their featured dessert-the gingerbread cookie cake. Place has a western theme vibe about it.Outdoor seating is available. The cake I could tell had been frozen all day and was thawing out for the evening's festivities. The cake was extremely light and moist. The gingerbread man piece on top is not actually made of gingerbread but was a piece of white chocolate made to look like one.It was very tasty and one of my favorite desserts at the party. Wish they would have this thing year round. Was truly worth going the distance to grab this goodie!
