Golden Dragon

Just moved to the area and we are in the process of finding our go to places! We had to run to Publix on one of our first nights here and saw this place in the same parking lot so we had to try it. We ordered Singapore noodles, house special lo mein, house special egg foo young, crab Rangoon and sesame chicken. Everything was great and they definitely don't skimp on portions or the amount of meat in lo mein like so many other places. The egg foo young was so yummy and I even liked their gravy, very surprised since I haven't had gravy that I liked since moving from NYC almost 15 years ago. The crab Rangoon was a bit sweeter than I'm used to but nothing that would prevent us from ordering again. Despite the warning from the worker that they were very spicy, the Singapore noodles were very mild in our opinion. That being said, we do have a pretty high tolerance for spice. They were very efficient and they got our order out quickly! There are a few tables inside if you want to dine in but I think most people just take it to go. We will definitely order from this place again!

This is our go to takeout for Chinese. So far the food has been good and closest to NJ Chinese that I've had here since looking for 8yrs. Shrimp in Lobster sauce, shrimp and broccoli, egg foo yung, steamed dumplings, yung chow fried rice are some that we've tried and enjoyed. Egg rolls are sometimes a little dry but decent. Wonton soup is good but sometimes can be a bit doughy. They are very busy so good sign using fresh ingredients. Great customer service when taking out too. Go early especially on a weekend.

Ordered via ubereats. Got the sweet / chicken And the gen tso Online it just states fried rice for the combo When the order arrived the rice had pork in it making it not edible. Just be aware if you're not a pork eater. The gen tso was chewy and not crispy that was disappointing and the sauce tasted like bbq The sweet & sour was decent nothing to brag about to be honest. Wouldn't order again.

I ordered boneless spare ribs and they were old and dry. I do not recommend this place. Serving reheated old pork is unacceptable and I wish I could get my money back.

This is best Chinese food I've found nearby in Davenport. Ordered here many times. Food is consistent. I don't care for their beef dishes. Now the food isn't as good as NY or NJ or PA Chinese but I haven't found that it FL yet.

This wasn't our best 1st experience at this restaurant.1st of all my husband ordered kung pau chicken with no peanuts for me and it came delivered with peanuts!Also our entrees were smothered in so many mushrooms and little chicken or shrimp/beef it overwhelmed the little meat we got.I wish I would've gotten a picture of the entrees we ordered before but we were starving and I didn't realize how many mushrooms they used as fillers for meat and vegetables.Plus again I'm was glad I wasn't allergic to peanuts .

This place has pretty decent Chinese food for this area!Their delivery through DoorDash was delivered quickly and was very hot. We ordered the steamed dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken and veggie mei fun. They all were good portions. The steamed dumplings were tasty especially with the sauce. The veggie mei fun was also tasty and not greasy like some can be - our favorite of the bunch! The sweet and sour chicken was good and had a nice flavor. The breading on the chicken (both chicken dishes) was thick on many pieces and more breading instead of chicken, but some were less breaded. The orange chicken was the least flavorful and our least favorite of the bunch. Overall, it's a good place that we'd go to again and it has pretty decent takeout chinese food that most will enjoy. Better than most chinese takeout in the area, for sure!

Very authentic food esp. Chicken Chow mein!The food is very reasonable; the person taking my order with my thick accent understood me very well; on every question I posed, she very politely asked me to hold until she received a response. Cannot go wrong!

We have struggled to find good Chinese food in Davenport. We called to see if they delivered to our area and we were informed that they do not offer delivery at all. So we thought about it for a minute and decided to go ahead and put in a take out order. They said the food would be ready in about 20 minutes, so I went ahead and took the 15-minute drive to grab the food. When I arrived to pick up the order they verified what we ordered against what the ticket said and checked the bags to make sure it was all there. Now I had to take a 15-minute drive with this wonderful smelling food. Needless to say, I made it home without pulling over to eat my food.Once home, I quickly dove into my order of General Tso's Chicken and of course I ordered the combo. With my combo, I opted to go with the Wonton Soup as my side and was ok with the pork fried rice. The Wonton Soup was hot and delicious. I was very happy with my General Tso's Chicken and fried rice, both items were as expected. While the General Tso's Chicken has a chili next to it on the menu, I did not find it to be that hot.Even though they don't offer delivery, we will call in our order and make the 15-minute drive. Now here is hoping they are consistent. :-)

Decent place. Good portions. The service could be better...couldn't hurt to be a little more welcoming. I had a General Tso Chicken with fried rice. Taste isn't the best but you shouldn't be coming here for top chinéese food anyway.
