We are familiar with this place in sacramento, so we decided to go here in Orlando. It did not disappoint. The food was all fresh and the honey butter that they have goes so good on the yeast rolls. She brought them out fresh while we were sitting thethere and we had to have some they smelt so good. The person filling our drinks and taking our plates kept herself busy even in down time. She was wiping the glass partitions. Place was clean.

First time coming here to say I atleast had the experience of dining at one. The price is steep in my opinion for the food quality. $19.99 per person, drinks are not included. So that's $50 for 2 people to dine here. I would say it's at worst 1 star, at best 3 stars, which would make sense why most locations hover around 2.5, 2.8 but 3 max. The food is probably the lowest quality you can get, right there with fast food really. Many dishes are bare bones, mashed potatoes, broccoli, fried chicken, salad, etc, pretty tasteless. The heating lamps just make the food look more orange and appealing but it's all just mid. This location was pretty clean and attentive. The employee at the front should have told us drinks were extra is my only comment. Other than that, I didn't go back for seconds on any food actually. I tried all that I wanted to try, and knew I didn't need any more. None of the desserts looks appetizing except the banana bread pudding. Probably my favorite thing they had. Lots of food items you can tell were from cans. Mushrooms especially. That being said, there's really only a few reasons I see value in a place like this. 1. Large families, feeding many people or kids with 1 price all you can eat and 2. You have a smaller budget, don't mind food quality, and want to eat a lot. If you're looking for a good, enjoyable dining experience, you're better off spending the $20-$25 per person somewhere else even if that's just 1 meal. With the price of food nowadays, my boyfriend and I can't eat anywhere without spending at least $70 on 2 meals, 1 dessert, and a soda, unless it's pizza. It's really up to that

Bar none, worst (I mean really bad) Golden Corral I have ever visited nationwide and I have been to a lot of them across the country. My son actually used to cook at one in Montana. In fact, he was looking forward to going tonight because he has no local ones. And I frequent my local one in Utah. Because it is actually really good, especially for lunch. To begin with the price $20 plus drinks each for three adults for dinner tonight. I felt like I was ROBBED! We should have just eaten at Disney World. It would have been cheaper and better tasting. The manager checked us in. When I asked how he was doing he basically let me know he was ready to be done for the day. The only highlight of the service was our waitress ROSA who was a delight (and seriously overworked- as was the entire cook and wait staff). Now the food...OMG!!! Let's start with the highlights. The steak was good, but the cook was very uneven because the cook was trying to run way too many stations (understaffing is apparently standard for this location). But I did appreciate her valiant attempt. Her genuine smile and graciousness was appreciated after a long day at the parks. The fried chicken was very tasty but seriously greasy and the roasted chicken was edible. No one can mess up a sweet potato. The baked goods were all very good (rolls, carrot cake, bread pudding and apple pie were enjoyed by all) The first serving of pot roast and vegetables was excellent the second barely edible it was so dry. The pulled pork was enjoyed by two of us. The stewed beans were delicious. Fried shrimp was ok. Now let's discuss the fact that I literally (for the first time in my over 6 decades on this planet) had to rush to the restroom to vomit after eating two bites of the ribs (which should have been an easy prep according to my son who is a cook-formerly with Golden Corral). The restroom btw was filthy. There was a broom and dustpan laying across the floor at the entry, which made getting my wheelchair in there darn near impossible and was a serious trip hazard for others. Then the handicapped stall was littered with shreds of TP but none was to be found in the dispenser. I probably would not have reviewed this place if not for this incident. The remainder of the offerings were barely edible including: seriously greasy tamales (my son accurately described them as one step above canned), worst hush puppies on earth, Mac and cheese that was broken and mushy. In fact mushy could also describe the pasta and all vegetables. Pizza was cold. Stewed apples had no flavor. The soups were 2-3 hours past their hold time according to our cook who knows standard ops for GC. The meatloaf was dense and stringy. The ice cream lever for vanilla was "out of order". So no ice cream for the pies. The salad looked ok, but tasted wrong. There were many items that looked so overcooked or unappealing that no one even tried them. In other words, JUST DON'T. Had this been our first experience, it would have definitely been the LAST. The owners of this property should be seriously embarrassed. Golden Corral should consider auditing this location because it's an embarrassment! The franchisee should be concerned that the tag on this location could be pulled. Honestly I never ever review properties within minutes of leaving them I have read the entire review to my dining companions and they agree it is thorough and accurate. Again, JUST DON'T.

We usually go to the international drive one and over there the coffee is complementary so we didn't know this location didn't do that. When we asked our server Helene for 1 coffee she made a face and said "you should had paid for it but whatever I'll bring you one" she brought half a cup. When my mom asked her for another cup for dessert again she made a face and said "sure whatever" if you didn't want to give us one damn coffee then tell me to get up and pay for it but don't be making face and give me attitude. Never coming to this location ever again.

Golden Corral is really 5 stars before 2 pm!!! The breakfast on weekends and the breakfast/brunch on the weekdays is always great. In the morning/early afternoon the food is always fresh and it tastes delicious.... on weekends it's a full on breakfast smorgasbord. Eat your heart out on the full all-u-can-eat buffet of breakfast items. Through the week there is a breakfast section with yummy classic breakfast items and the rest of the buffet is great for those who like real solid food in the morning!!!Now Once that late lunch - Dinnertime sets in idk what happens but I don't enjoy the food. If my first ever meal here was dinner, then I probably wouldn't return. But fortunately I experienced their Morning Greatness! Btw, desserts here can be a hit or miss any time of the day... Morning Management and Staff at this location is great! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, like they actually liked their jobs! I would visit this location again, but just know I gotta be out by 2pm lol!

Your typical buffet, food was good for most part. Went for dinner, meal plus drink was about $25/person. Started out w salad section which was decent, the lettuce was a little brown but otherwise everything else was good. The hot sections were good, favorites were the mashed potatoes, popcorn shrimp, mushrooms, steak, dinner roll, and a few other item. Service was good, there was one guy basically cleaning and running our section but he kept the drinks filled and plates cleared. Wasn't the loudest place I've ever been in, but expect the craziness of ppl it is a Buffett lol

To start off, I have never-ever-ever been to a golden corral in my life. I guess there's kind of a hype for it, I see it around my hometown and all, but just never had the desire to go into one since there are so many other choices.Came here because family wanted an American type buffet. It was kind of a mistake - The food here is mediocre at far. a lot of carbs, and a lot of salt. All the food here are oily and salted heavily, so I guess the tactics is a lot of people here glup down soda or water which then less food is intake?I only really had the salad bar, but then the station itself was missing some of the labeled dressing. The stations are not the most clean, and hopefully nobody really have food allergies because cross contamination is probably highly likely. A lot of people who visited here are those who enjoy American food, which then I guess is really the reason why people come here. I would not recommend for anyone who prefers lighter kind of buffet. There is parking in the plaza parking lot, and lots of tables.

Look.. it's cheap and pretty tasty. Great value for the dollar. A wide variety of choices and a place where I'm not the biggest guy in the room.

So I had never been to a Golden Corral. My family and I were in search of a breakfast buffet before we hit a theme park on a Monday morning. The website advertised an omelet bar so we got there when they opened (10am). The food was fresh, but there were practically no breakfast options: they had a small tray of pancakes, a tray of sausage patties, a tray of bacon, and a tray of scrambled eggs (I like my scrambled eggs well done and these were the wet kind; yuck). We asked about the omelet bar and they told us that it's only available on the weekend (a huge bummer). I tried the lunch food because this is a place where you pay beforehand so I figured I might as well. I tried some fried chicken, penne pasta, and mashed potatoes and gravy. The fried chicken looked good but it was pink when I bit it. The penne pasta also looked good but was flavorless. The gravy for the mashed potatoes was downright gross. The spread looked ok so I tried to get pictures of everything. However, I was halfway through and the manager told me I couldn't take pictures. This made no sense to me because pictures are what people look for when reviewing where they'd like to chow down. The ONLY reason this place is getting 2 stars and not 1 is because our server was kind. I would never ever go back here. Once was enough for a lifetime.
