Giovanni's Pizzeria & Kitchen

Visiting family who just moved into the area, my kids wanted pizza so we decided to give this place a try. I'm originally from western NY and live in Tampa. Finding good Italian is a struggle in Florida and I've given up on finding decent pizza.This place is incredible. The portions were huge! I didn't take hardly any photos because I was distracted by catching up with the family. The bread they start with is SO good.We got the mozzarella appetizer and I wish I had photos of the cheese pull from it. The mozzarella was so fresh and so good.The garlic cheese bread was *eh* and probably the only thing I wouldn't order again. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything memorable.I got the calzone and it was HUGE. I got a plain cheese and it was so good. I only ate about half of it. Family got the fettuccine Alfredo, the "personal pan pizza" (which was HUGE) and chicken Marsala. The Alfredo sauce had so much flavor and was a great consistency. Nobody had any complaints.Our server was outstanding as well. Answered any questions and was super attentive. She spoke highly of the restaurant, the quality, and the owners. Absolutely will be back next time I'm in the area

I was looking forward to this pizza. This place was rated really high.I am completely disappointed. Bland bland bland. I got the Hawaiian and the knots and both were just tasteless. The knots were just plain bread. No parm no butter no flavor. Even the sauce is lackluster.Not a fan.

We were super excited to have a new Italian restaurant open close to our house. We gave them a few weeks to work out the kinks, then visited this cool little place.We had reservations and were promptly taken to our table on a moderately busy evening. Our server was well trained but being a trainer for many fine dining restaurants, I could tell that she was new to serving.We ordered Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Chicken Parmesan and a large Meat Lovers Pizza. I also had a glass of Hess Select Cabernet Sauvignon. The pasta dishes were very generous in proportions and both were pretty tasty. The pizza was good but was a little burned on the bottom, otherwise the crust was great.The wine list is limited but has some good selections.The bar area was really nice. I can see myself stopping in for apps and drinks in my near future.

Two and a half stars rounded up. So very meh. Three stars for the friendly service and pleasant atmosphere, but the food is just nothing special. I do like that bread is served complementary, too many places don't do that anymore, but the bread was too dense, very doughy and undercooked. The pizza was average at best. Sauce overly sweet without a touch of acidity. Crust is floppy and lacking any flavor. I came in with low expectations since I've been to a mediocre Giovanni's in Orlando years ago, but this one is right across the street and was hoping a brand new location would surprise me. Disappointed but not surprised.

Wonderful food and service! Love the ambiance and drink menu too! It's been hard to find a pizza place in Florida, and this place was amazeballs!

Been waiting for Giovanni's to open! Only issue is I went for lunch, but they haven't kicked in the lunch specials yet. So it was a little more expensive than I was going for, but still very good!Went with Chicken Franchise. Came with a salad that was very basic, but the house dressing was good. Also came with "garlic bread." I put it in quotes because it wasn't like any garlic bread I've had before. It was a mini loaf with a little garlic flavor on top. However, it came with a garlic spread...it was great!!!The chicken was very good. So tender and sauce very flavorful. I'll be back to try other offerings!

It's exciting to see good spots open up in Four Corners. This will definitely be a go to when we have guests.The bread honestly was my favorite! The spread! Just great.I ordered the stuffed shells since it's always been a favorite. They were slightly more al dente than I like, but the portion is a good size. It also came with a house salad. I enjoyed the dressing, though I wish it came with more, as some of the salad was just dry.I tried a bite of my husband's plate which had lasagna, fettuccine, and chicken parm. I liked the chicken and fettuccine the most.Just wanting to try something small, I had the mini cannoli. Unfortunately, their chocolate sauce was overwhelming. I'd pass on this next time.I'm very interested in their pizza and want to try that next!

We had a large party (8). Natalia was our server. She was amazing. It was our third restaurant in 3 nights. The service at Giovanni's was far and above the previous restaurants. Natalia was attentive and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their pasta dishes and we shared a pizza as an appetizer. It was obvious that the pizza is the main draw as we saw carry out counter pumping out so many boxes. Highly recommend !

The food is great. They did have a problem with the ovens putting out overdone/ burnt pizza crust. I showed the manager the issue, he apologized and presented me with a free pizza coupon to make it right. I used the coupon and that pizza was perfect. I love the decor of facility. I've been here 3 times and except for the oven issue. Being new at this location there were a few bugs to work out. They have addressed those and I'm totally happy with the food, service and ambiance of Giovanni's.

Truly fantastic from start to finish. Our server Evelyn was very pleasant and attentive. But most importantly the food was amazing! The appetizers, main courses, and desserts were all delicious and the manager Roberto was a true gentleman. Very fair prices. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for great Italian food in a very clean/nice establishment.
