Giovanni's New York Pizza

My husband used to love this place so much so I had them as my contact list. It's been a while that we order from them. I place an order for pick up and the price was for an xtra large pizza and garlics knots came out to $20.00! What a steal. Something was off. The pizza was off. Not sure why it it was.The garlic knot were tasty as ever swimming in a pool of garlic butter. The service was quick and easy.

I have ordered pizza from this place before and it was good but today I decided to order a meatball sub for lunch, bad decision! To begin the sandwich was so dry! There was hardly any sauce. There was plenty of melted cheese but without any sauce it basically made it feel like there was too much cheese...but the to the worst part, the meatballs! I don't know how old these meatballs were but they must have gotten them from the back of the freezer after being there for 6 months. They were so hard I had to spit it out. I decided to dissect the second half and found that the meatballs were indeed old and dry! Will never order from this place again. I have other options in the neighborhood and I will be using them.

Super nasty place. Never seen the cook wear gloves and the restaurant is filthy. Still go there because my company likes pizza from there. Just purchased $150 worth of pizza and they said paper plates are extra

We stopped in after bowling at Incredibowl.The place is old school. Nothing fancy. Don't let that fool you. This place has great pizza. We ordered the eggplant Parmigiano pizza. Now, I like a thin crust, well done pie. I didn't ask for it, but that's how it was done, and done well. We will be back, and soon. The pizza was really well done, tasty and fresh!!

Gross. Not hygienic. First the woman who handled my food sneezed in her hands, didn't wash and made a sad attempt at putting on one single blue glove (and proceeded to touch everything with her dirty hand as well). I asked for two slices with fresh garlic and Basil. She sprinkled nasty canned garlic on my pizza and dried basil. Worst pizza experience. Never coming back.

I'm from New York. I do know good pizza from bad pizza. In Florida, there is a lot more bad than good. In the case of Giovanni's, this place is the real deal. I know when I order a pie, I'm getting something as close to New York as possible. I don't open the box and get disappointed. They really make a great pie. I made the mistake of trying a competitor recently based on a recommendation. It was a huge mistake. I highly recommend Giovanni's. The food is delicious. The prices are reasonable. If you've never had a New York pie, go here. It's cheaper than flying to New York.

Good food, great service. No idea why people are giving low ratings to be honest. Would recommend to anyone wanting pizza and wings especially in football seasons.

I've been patronizing Giovanni's since they open here in Winter Haven many years now. I don't know what's happened but the food quality has gone for the worst. Order spaghetti dinner and a side of fried zucchini with a side salad. The appearance not appetizing at the least. The salad was the core of iceberg lettuce and it was brown our whole meal was like thrown together without and care at all fried zucchini was all soggy and falling apart spaghetti with meat sauce sux big time. And problem is I've had all this here before and it was good enough to make me choose them for spaghetti meal tonight what a Friggin disappointment. I'm done. These people just don't care about quality. Sad.

First, we received the wrong pizza. We ordered Primavera and we got a pizza with broccoli, spinach, and tomatoes. We figured it's partially our fault because we didn't check before leaving. Second, the pizza does not have good flavor. The cheese pizza and garlic rolls didn't have flavor. It was so weird. Also, it did not smell appetizing, it was terrible. At least now we know, but for sure I'd skip pizza here in the future.

This has to be the worst pizza ever. The crust is always undercooked and has no flavor. The sauce is nasty and their is nothing New York about it. We are born and raised in Long Island, NY and this place is not new York pizza. Please don't hold Long Island to that...
