Ginza Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

I think Ginza rates a steady four stars 99% of the time. There are days that I've had some table chefs who are better than others and some who must still be learning, but the food is pretty much always the same and you get plenty of it as for the ambience they have some very nice lighting inside, but it's not always turned on when you come in for lunch this trip was the first time that we had ever been seated completely by ourselves just the two of us and all the table you can tell has been wiped down still looked dirty, although you see them clean it after each meal. As far as weight staff, I've never had an issue with any of them and they are all pretty attentive too the tables that's why we return time and time again and we have tried other state tables, but is still the best in our opinionThe food is not only good the first day, but usually very good the second day as well so unless you're a huge eater, you always have something left over to take home

I was in Daytona Beach visiting family, and I had found some restaurants I might want to try while in town. Ginza was on my list. We ended up here for dinner on a Saturday night, and I am sure glad we did! The restaurant was quite busy, but thankfully, we got seated right away before it got real crazy. The restaurant has hibachi and sushi, but we were doing sushi that night. We started with the edamame and fried gyoza. All was great. The gyoza and the sauce it came with was so delicious I got an order to go. Also, usually gyoza comes with 5 dumplings which can be annoying when sharing, but theirs came with 6 and was very much appreciated!My daughter got the California roll and loved it, and I can't remember the name of the roll I got but WOW!! I looked online, but it's not on the menu. They had this picture book and other rolls on another menu not reflected online. It had spicy tuna, cream cheese, and avocado, and light rice wrapped with the skinniest yet longest piece of tuna. I had mine made with soy paper, and in my opinion, it changes the taste in all rolls for the better. I have to say I think this is my most favorite roll I have ever had. There was a light wasabi sauce and maybe eel sauce under the roll on the plate. The presentation..... Show Stopper!!! It was an absolutely beautiful plate! I was so pleased.Overall our service was good. It started off great, but then our waiter got sat three tables back to back after us (one of which was a party of 8) so he was quite busy. For that reason, we were never checked on to see if our food was good until we were done and our refills lacked, but the food made up for that. I could see what was going on so that did not affect my rating. I have no doubt things would've been different if all those tables weren't sat back to back.The ambience is beautiful and modern. There is this gorgeous light fixture that changes colors I could stare at from where I was sitting. I captured it in my favorite color pink. Love!! The attention to detail was in everything from the appearance inside to the plates we ordered. I will definitely be back when I am in town! Oh how I miss Florida sushi!!!

Beautiful decor, the lighting as you walk in is gorgeous. I came alone for the Hibachi & was sat with an absolutely adorable family. The entire dining experience was entertaining, and hilarious. From start to finish the chef was making jokes and keeping everyone on their toes with a saki gun, tossing veggies to us, and of course everyone's favorite part- The fire! Super enjoyable dinner even without a party or group, this is an excellent place. Food was delicious, and they are not shy on the portions... Perfect leftovers!

Excellent vegetarian rolls. I had the lunch special--3 rolls with miso soup for $14.99. I chose the sweet potato tempura, broccoli tempura, and avocado rolls. The soup had plenty of tofu and seaweed in it, and the rolls were some of the freshest, most delicious I've ever had. They put plenty of ginger, soy sauce, napkins, chopsticks, and plastic cutlery in our to-go bag too. The restaurant itself has a lovely ambience if you choose to dine there.

Creative and tasty food and great service in a striking decor. What's not to like? Try the David Lowe roll!

I visited this restaurant on Sunday for my son's birthday because he loves hibachi. They allow you to get a free meal worth $20 if it is your birthday but you have to make sure you bring ID or a birth certificate. I honestly forgot to take pictures because I was single word attention to my son but we had a party of eight and everyone was happy with their food and service. I got the chicken and salmon, the food was flavored. Well, my salmon was not overcooked my son got the lobster fillet and shrimp (yes he's expensive lol) his fillet was cooked perfectly The shrimp are a nice big size and they give you great portion. Along with your hibachi meal, you get a soup and salad both taste very good especially the salad with the ginger sauce. I also ordered the crab ragoon it tasted OK I've had better but everything else that I ate Neta for the lack of labor in by appetizer. All in all, I would definitely return here again the prices are great. The service is great as well.

Friendly staff, quick service, reasonable prices. Very clean and spacious. Music/TV play at a decent boise level so you can still hear people at your table talking.The crab wontons are the best. I haven't found better ones anywhere else. Wish I lived closer so I could get them all the time.All the sushi rolls are awesome. The cowboy roll is a unique one, a must try, always on my list to get whenever I have the chance to stop by.I recommend it to anyone and everyone that will be near.

There is another Japanese hibachi-style restaurant in town that has a nicer atmosphere (Takara), but, hands-down, the food at Ginza is better and it's still a great great environment with excellent service and a great hibachi experience. This has become birthday go-to joint for all of our friends and family. It's a fun spot and we love it. I highly recommend it! You won't be disappointed if the food taste and quality is most important to you.

MAGNIFICENT . This restaurant was recommended to me by someone that I felt her admiration came with weight (It has been the best sushi here hands down . This atmosphere is enchanting, along with the extraordinary staff and food!

Excellent atmosphere, service and food. We sat at the sushi bar!! It was as good as the best I've ever had. We'll be back soon
