My son wanted ice cream after a day at the theme park nearby. We'd passed this spot many times before and had never tried it, so this was the perfect opportunity. They have a self order kiosk with indoor seating off to the side, as well as the customary outdoor window and outdoor seating. We were hot from our day in the park, so I decided to order via the self order kiosk. The menu selection is very large, so there is definitely something for everyone and endless toppings and sauce combinations. They have both scooped and soft serve options, cups, cones, sundaes, floats, malts etc.My son chose soft serve in a cup and I went with coffee chop hand scooped ice cream in a cup. The order window has a curtain. There was no signage indicating someone would give us our order from that curtain, so I was a bit confused, however, I chose to wait it out and see if that was where we'd get our treats. Sure enough, that's how it worked. The seating area is small, with a small tv for entertainment purposes.Overall, cute spot and family owned. I would just put a sign near the curtain to indicate to guests that their order will be coming out there. I also wish there were more non-dairy options, as there was only one choice.

**INITIAL REVIEW**Ginther's Swirls Ice Cream (which I will shorthand to Ginther's for the remainder of this review) is one of the more popular ice cream spots in Orlando, simply because it is just outside the edge of the hustle and bustle of the tourist end of I-Drive.Ergo, both locals and tourists frequent Ginther's despite the fact that overall, Ginther's is just a simple ice cream parlor.Though an address is given, Ginther's is located just south of Sea World and Aquatica. It is a small lone-standing business compared to the other businesses around it. You can definitely tell which one is Ginther's especially with the animated ice cream cone flashing multiple vibrant colors right in front of the storefront. The storefront for Ginther's has multiple seating for about four or five families, but no more than that. As for ordering, there are two windows. Both are for ordering when they are hit with a rush, but usually, one window is for order and the other is pickup.I went here with my two younger sisters and what we noticed, the options are quite simple as in they are an array of flavors many ice cream parlors have, toppings many ice cream parlors have, and different styles/kinds of ice cream servings (milkshakes, malts, single scoop, double scoop, banana splits, etc.) that many ice cream parlors have, too. In short, they don't exactly stand out from other ice cream parlors AND the price seems to be a bit higher. What Ginther's does have to their advantage is their location. That is why despite their common selection and somewhat higher than the average norm prices, they are doing very well. And to be fair, what limited ice cream selections they have, they are good. And another note: Ginther's does have indoor seating with indoor, contactless ordering for those who don't want limited human interaction. This is also where the restrooms are located, too, which were okay.Ultimately, Ginther's seems to have a lot going well with what they have. Great location, prices set for tourism (which is understandable), and their selection is good. Will I come back here? Maybe if it is the only choice. And to be fair, I wouldn't mind it either. However, if I don't mind the drive elsewhere, I probably will go somewhere with more variety.

My family stopped by for some ice cream after spending sometime at some International Drive attractions. Ginther's is family owned and operated and I love contributing to a local business. They also own a few Twistee Treat franchise locations and so expect a similar menu to a Twistee Treat. This location is unique in that it does have a small (10-15 people) inside seating area which proved useful on a rainy day for us. Inside they have a kiosk where you can order and then enjoy your ice cream. They also have a walk up area outside and a drive through. My family all enjoyed soft serve sundaes, but they also have had about a dozen hard scoop options. They have chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and twist soft serve. They have a wide variety of sundaes, shakes, and twirls as well.

This is a great spot for ice cream lovers. They have a large menu with many flavors. Their portions are large and reasonably priced. They even have a drive thru. The staff members were friendly and helpful. I got a mint cookie swirl which was great. I love having the choice between mint chip and mint cookie. My sister had a chocolate soft serve cone which she said was great.

A really great place to just get some dessert and hang out! You order at a window outside (and can eat at their outside seating), but there's also a connected room in the back where you can sit inside and eat. There are so many options to choose from but everything we got was super good!

The ice cream was pretty good. There were some long lines at the patio window (only one of two were open) but they moved quickly. Hint for non-locals - when there are long lines, go inside (where most of the time there are no people) self order using the kiosk, and they will hand you your order through the window next to the kiosk (skips the line)
