Gideon's Bakehouse

Gideon's cookies were definitely a treat! I hadn't had them in a while, and tonight reminded me why they're so popular. I ordered the Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip, and it was absolutely phenomenal--rich, chocolatey, and perfectly indulgent, just the way I like it.Every bite was a reminder of why Gideon's is worth the hype. If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out on one of the best cookies around!

This is a great spot to come if you don't want to wait in the typically long line at Disney Springs. I've had little to no wait here.We came this time for the Stuart and Bonnie's pop up, and everything was awesome. The Cuban Gelato Sandwich lived up to what I thought it would be.We additionally stopped by the storefront to get the snowman Christmas card with the sugar cookie purchase.The staff from the popup and the store were both amazing as always.

To make a long story short, I don't live anywhere near Florida. But about three years ago, I spotted a cookie covered in dots and couldn't help but ask, "What is that? Is it edible? Can I have some?" From that moment, I was hooked. I even went to Gideon's Bakehouse the very next day.Fast forward to this trip: I saw they had a Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie made with Andes mints. As an avid chocolate-and-mint fan, I knew I had to get one (or maybe a few--don't judge, lol). And let me tell you, that cookie was worth every one of the 697 pennies I spent. Absolutely delicious!Now, I'll admit, I'm not a fan of the whole occult symbolism they lean into--it's something I choose to overlook to satisfy this cookie craving (shaking my head at myself, lol). But overall, the experience was smooth. We were able to go in and out with almost no wait time, which was amazing, especially compared to the stories I've heard about the Disney Springs location where you'd wait practically all day.If you're a cookie lover, Gideon's is worth the trip. Just be prepared for an indulgent and unique experience, just pray before hand

Original Gideons store. Known for their 1/2 pound cookies. Cookies and Cakes take over 24 hours to prepare and are sold on a first come first serve basis. They try to keep the basics in stock all day but Limited Edition items can sell out! Their goodies are 100% handmade from scratch and they are quality control obsessed. Tiny shop located inside East End Market.

Gideons once again nailed it - their cookies are always amazingService was so nice and while we went with classic chocolate chip this visit so delicioussssss

Tried the banana bread cookie for the first time. It's the perfect balance of cookie dough, banana flavor, chocolate, and salt crunch. I returned twice in the same day to grab some more cookies to take home after trying one for myself. Staff was welcoming and quick :) Price point in fair considering the sheer size of the cookie. Happy I ventured out and tried a different flavor. Would love to see this place expand into a fully immersive standalone cafe. The sheer decor and theme is beautiful. Would love to sit down and be surrounded by it.

20m wait on a Sat night at 10:30pm. Love the cute spooky decor inside the store! Cookies were super filling and rich in chocolate chips. It was almost overwhelming bc it felt like I was eating a ball of chocolate chips! Lots of fun flavors - I got:- Original chocolate chip: $6 (my most fav)- Pistachio toffee cookie: $6- Banana bread, walnut chocolate chip: $6- Pumpkin bread, chocolate crumb: $6.5Fun place to try - esp for chocolate lovers but unfortunately not for me.

The key to this place is timing. I don't mean the cookies / cakes will taste different but what I mean is the wait time. I like to come first thing in the morning so to avoid the rush which can wrap around outside. The cookies are always too fresh and delicious. My favorite is the banana nut cookie but they are all equally as good just depends on your preference. Most people skip it but if you want a decadent delicious cake, make sure to grab one. They are always moist and never disappoint. Although they are super rich so be prepared to share. If you haven't been then where the heck you at lol.

First time trying Gideon's Bakehouse. Cookies were solid, good flavors, soft, chewy, and sweet. I don't actually think there's anything too special except for the aesthetic. Little to no wait when we came on during the week day - I wouldn't wait in line for it at Disney Springs.

Great service! Always love coming to visit a staple in my life at this point. Greeted immediately as I walked up and just so nice and easy to talk to anyone at the counter. Today I picked up two cookies: the cookies n cream and the banana chocolate chip. While the banana chocolate chip wasn't my favorite the cookies and cream was the bomb.com. One thing I can say about the cookie dough is that it's not too sweet or overpowering. It's just perfect and the different flavors are well spread throughout the cookie and able to taste every flavor that is mentioned the cookie will have based on the title. Thank you Gideons!
