Great location in Disney Springs for a snack or dessert following dinner at another establishment in the area. Expect a long line/wait if you stop by on a weekend evening. However, we were greeted and provided a menu so we'd be prepared prior to entering. As soon as the large main doors are opened, the scent of baked goods immediately greets you. Decor is festive depending on the holiday and all the employees were nice and patient while you select your baked goods. We decided upon the original chocolate chip, pistachio toffee chocolate chip, and banana bread chocolate chip. The cookies are large, thick and loaded with toppings. The inside is soft and gooey and tastes like their respective names.I would definitely return and try out their giant cake slices next.

If you're into cookie dough, this bakery's your place! They switch up flavors monthly, but the original's always a winner. Even though I'm not a huge cookie dough fan, I'd go back for the coffee and that original flavor - it's amazing with coffee or tea. Now, that mega slice of cake? Definitely get that! Seriously one of the best cakes ever. Perfect portion for the price.Everything's baked fresh with real ingredients. Seriously, the peanut butter is top-notch. No kidding around. The staff is nice but a little pushy because of the long line. But don't let the spooky vibe fool you. It's spooktacular! Heh heh! Let the taste do the talking. Oh, and check the bottom of your cookie box - you don't want to get a surprise! Enjoy!

The line was long, but it moved fast- just as all the reviews promised. The cookies were AMAZING. The cookies themselves taste undercooked - they're not, but if you don't like that mouth feel then I wouldn't recommend. I love that about them. My only recommendation to all of you wanting to try it would be to tip well. I know in these quick service type places you wonder "why would I tip?"...I always wonder, too. In this case, the workers here are grossly underpaid and from what I've read (articles and complaints from former workers) the workers here are mostly paid by tips. They get paid $8.89 because they supposedly earn tips. I don't think people often tip at quick service places like Gideon's to justify paying your workers minimum wage, so please tip the workers. To summarize: Overall, a good experience and worth the wait, but definitely leave a tip if you're planning on going.

Do you like big ass cookies and being emo? This is the place for you! Fittingly we stood in the rain just to go inside. Word on the street is there is always a line at this dessert shop at Disney Springs. We went for the Triple Chocolate cookie and the cookies and cream cookie. A perfect blend of sweet and salty. Definitely shareable. It's dark and gothic in this mug but it fits. Look for the picture of George Washington.

I decided to give Gideon's another try. Unfortunately, the Red Velvet Cake was a bit dry, and the cream cheese as previously stated, was sickly sweet.

Best cookie I've ever had. This Gothic themed bakery is not only a delicious bakery but really fun experience with friendly and fast staff. It's dark and spooky inside and just so neat! Would recommend. I had feb specials and the eternal flame cookie won my heart!

This review will be sweet. Short but sweet. This spot has been hyped up for years. I have always made it a point to try to go here when visiting family in Central Florida. These cookies and desserts are the REAL DEAL. I arrived in Disney Springs and usually since they are popular, they have a virtual queue set up. I was planning on getting my spot on that and then grabbing some dinner with the friends and family. When I got over there, the line was short and they said no virtual queue for tonight. I was so excited, I hopped right in line and waited a few minutes for my turn in the bakehouse. It was probably between 10-15 minutes and it was my time to head in. I had a couple of requests from the family to get and then I got the Cookies & Cream cookie. It is my favorite one but their seasonal cookies are always good too! As always the cookie was huge and absolutely delicious. The bakehouse itself has such a cool and unique feel to it and it is such a fun place to look around and find something new in the decor you didn't see before. If you are ever in Central Florida or Disney Springs, go get some cookies. They're the best!

Well you hear about the 1/2 pound cookie. You see the line wrapped around the building. Is it worth it? Yes! So much so we ordered the maximum 6 cookie limit (which is a whopping 3 pounds of cookie) We love a doughy cookie and all the flavors in between. The original chocolate chip was our initial taste after getting out of the line (waited about 35 minutes) and we were HOOKED. So glad we got two! Went for the seasonal limited edition pumpkin bread chocolate crumb with lots of pumpkin flavor to run home about (November flavor). My husband is now obsessed with the banana bread chocolate chip cookie. We're glad we got the advice from staff on the cookies and cream one too. My sister and brother in law loved the dark coffee cake cookie which is the evening exclusive. The decor was beautiful and intricate; if the line didn't go so fast we'd marvel at it longer! But that's a good thing because with the line wrapped around the building they work quick. Gideons? Worth the wait and why does it have to be all the way in Florida? Until next time for more cookies

I always wondered what the big hype about Gideons was. Everytime I find myself in Orlando in disney springs the line is so ridiculously long it's insane. This time my friends and I decided to wait and it went by pretty fast. I would stay the staffing is really proficient at getting customers in and out quickly. I got the oreo cookie and a chocolate chip cookie. I had to try it!!! I liked the chocolate chip one better but I wouldn't say these are the most delicious cookies I've ever had. I would honestly prefer crumbl over them. The theme of Gideons is really cool. Like a tim Burton meets Harry potter feel. But if I ever find myself in Orlando again at Disney Springs I would skip Gideons.
