Cute restaurant! Very comfortable atmosphere. The food was amazing!! Chicken salad was the best I ever had. The chicken soup had small homemade noodles. The cookies are delicious. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I've been going a few days a week. I just love the food! Thank you Chef George!!

The food was fine. We ordered French dip, Brie and apple salad, and a chicken sandwich. Nothing in particular to write home about, the French dip was a bit salty, and the au jus is served on top of the sandwich, so the bread is super soggy. The Brie and apple salad was large and had lots of fruit, which was good for my kids to snack on while they waited for their chicken sandwich. The service is so odd though - we walked in, and went to the counter and literally 3 different staff members walked by without greeting us, looking at us or asking if we were ready to order. The last few times we've come it's been the same situation, it's very off putting.

After visiting the Morse Museum, I walked over to George's Cafe for lunch. The interior was very cozy and eclectic. The girl working at the front counter was very nice and helpful when ordering. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with the house made potato chips. The sandwich was very good and a plentiful serving of chicken salad. The house made potato chips were SO GOOD. You must order those as a side! There is a soda machine to help yourself when it comes to drinks. My food only took a short amount of time to come out. After lunch, I saw cookies come out. I ordered the chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies. The oatmeal was so good with the icing on top. The chocolate chip had a ton of chocolate chips. I would recommend just having another staff member up front helping clear tables and serve because there was only one employee doing all these jobs.

Everything was great. Good large sandwiches. Generous salads. And the best amazing cookies.

3-parking10-service 8-ambiance 7- foodI stopped in on a whim while on my way to a nail appointment. The place reminds me of a cafe you'd see in a hallmark movie or Stars Hallow. I got a homemade lemonade and a cookie to go then came back and got the puddsy to go - In house fresh roasted turkey breast, Applewood bacon, muenster cheese, homemade sun dried tomato dressing, served on a fresh baked French Baguette. Everything was tasty and I want to come back and have the burger while enjoying the surroundings. They have plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. Definitely worth the circling for a parking spot.

I went on a Sunday afternoon. There was one employee working the front counter. There was a sudden rush of people right after I arrived. She did a good job keeping things moving, but she definitely could have used help. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with a side of potato salad. Both were kind of plain to me and not the most flavorful. The portions were fairly generous. I had enough to eat, but I was a tad underwhelmed.

George's Cafe is a great stop on trendy Park Avenue in Winter Park, Florida. It has a pleasant and comfortable ambiance. It is a nice place to grab a meal and the staff was friendly and professional and the food was very good.They have a great brunch and I woukd definitely recommend stopping by for a great brunch.All in all, this was a very positive experience and I will give it five stars.

shrimp and grits, waffles, and chicken, best bacon I've ever ever had sausage,fruit, unbelievable ! very simple but elegant buffet.$15 per person. What a great fine.

I had seen a local news piece bragging about the Philly here, so we took our family for lunch and got there around 1:00 and when we started to order, the cashier basically slowly tells us that they are out of about half the items on the menu, including the Philly. I don't know why they couldn't have just written a quick sign to put on the door letting everyone know they were out of almost everything. So my wife and I ordered a couple of sandwiches with some chips, that were okay, and we ordered a grilled cheese with chips for our girls. Our sandwiches came out, and a few minutes after the waitress asked if we were missing anything. We said the grilled cheese. So she walks back to the kitchen and asks the cook about it, and we literally hear him say "Oh sh*t!" So they quickly cooked one up and brought it out without the chips to go with it. The server tells us that they had now run out of chips too, but were quickly cooking more. Ok, so we sat for another 15 minutes and no chips ever came out, so we just left. I know that busy restaurants run out of things sometimes, but the way that this was handled made me wish that I could have rescinded my tip.

Food and service was excellent. Had a turkey breast sandwich which was really good.Very accommodating on tradeouts within the menu. Outside tables are very nice highly recommend
