Great location! Service is spectacular. It is just what you expect when walking into an gelato shop, a friendly smile, a warm greeting and a great product! Nice gentleman recommended the mix of Hazelnut with Italian Kookie, it was AMAZING!! You must try it. The location is unbeatable. Fun part, sat next to Joe Jonas outside, he happened to be there for MardiGras. LOL

Gelateria is located at the Portofino Bay Resort at Universal. It was a perfect night to enjoy some gelato outdoors and this was the place.They have inside and outside seating and the outside was the best. The shop was pretty spacious and they had about 15 flavors. I tried a few options and I liked the pistachio. The texture and consistency was pretty good. I hate when they are too soft. The mango was like that. My husband had the salted caramel and all was well. It was about $10 for both and for some reason a regular sugar cone was $1 less so I opted for it instead of a cup. There was only one person working on a Saturday night and there was a line behind us.

This little Gelato shop is located at the Lowes Portofino Bay hotel at Universal! They have a variety of flavors you can choose from including drinks and candy bars! If you are unsure about a flavor you can try it first and you can get two different flavors! I got a small cup with Birthday Cake and Caramel Cookie! I definitely recommend these two flavors.The only reason why I'm giving this place 4 stars out of 5 is because I also bought a water bottle and it cost me $7.50, now I completely understand that this is a tourist place but $7.50 for a water bottle is absolutely outrageous.

Gelateria Caffe Espresso is a gelato spot at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel within Universal. It's one of the few sweet shops located onsite at the hotels. There is a wide variety of Gelato flavors inside the Gelateria. It's located right next to Starbucks. There are other options that you can select from inside the Gelateria such as candy bars, cereals and much more!If you're looking for a amazing Gelato place, you should check out Gelateria Caffe Espresso. There are plenty of different and unique gelato flavors, but limited, to choose from. You can also sit outside at the tables and get amazing views of the Loews Portofino Bay Plaza/Bay area.

Coffee and pistachio are my favorite dessert flavors. Cappuccino was not bitter or intense enough - very sweet. Pistachio was pretty good but needed more nuts. Both needed some salt. Texture is amazing and I enjoyed taking it back to eat cozied up in front of the TV.

After dinner at Mama Della's, we stopped for a quick gelato across the plaza at the Portofino. They were about to close but hadn't started putting gelato away, as far as we could tell. The geletaria is connected to a Starbucks, which was also about to close. We tried a couple flavors before settling on the lemon meringue pie and the mint chocolate chip. The flavors were not too sweet, which was perfect. They had a few of the classic flavors that we've had in Italy but not any to pique my sister's interest. My mom and I shared the cup of gelato and it was just enough to eat slowly while we explored the hotel.As others have noted, the variety of flavors is limited, but we had enough to choose two flavors. Looking for a lower key dessert than at the sit down restaurants? This geletaria might be your best bet.

This is one of my favorite spots for gelato. I was a little wary beforehand. I had mixed expectations because it had to be high quality for its location, but it also shared the room with a Starbucks. The price was decent, getting two scoops inside the small size cup. The gelato itself was very creamy and the flavors came through very well.

The Gelateria is located within Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. The ladies behind the counter are super sweet and helpful. They sell Gelati, Smoothies, Shakes, and Sundaes. You can ask to sample any of the Gelati flavors. There are two sizes available for the Gelati: Small ($3) and Large ($4). I ordered a large, which came with 2 scoops. You can ask for 2 different flavors. Flavor options include Swiss Chocolate, Dolce De Leche, White Chocolate Raspberry, Spumoni, Mango, Vanilla, Mint, Strawberry, Cookie Dough, and Tiramisu.I was able to try the Swiss Chocolate, Dolce De Leche, and White Chocolate Raspberry. The Swiss Chocolate was smooth and creamy on my first visit. It was more chunky and icy on the second visit. The Docle De Leche had a wonderful caramel flavor and the White Chocolate Raspberry was fruity and refreshing. I wouldn't say that this is the best Gelati I have ever tasted, but it was impressive for a Universal Orlando Resort on-site Hotel. Sal's Market Deli is also right beside the Gelateria.Overall, this is a nice place to satisfy your sweet tooth and cool down from the heat.

Not much of a variety, but the dolce flavor was delicious! Two scoops were plenty for two people!
