The shrimp & grits are delicious. It had a nice kick to it from the chorizo cheese sauce. It has shrimp,grits, sausage, tomatoes, scallion onions, chorizo cheese sauce.

Some people like to make fun of Yelp, but this is why I trust Yelp's overall ratings over Google Maps overall ratings. As of today, this location is rated 4 out of 5 stars. When we pulled up to this location, I pulled out my phone to check in on Yelp and saw the 2.5 overall rating and adjusted my expectations.Even with that, this place was terrible. The menu sounds and looks so promising, but no one in our party of 4 was happy with the food. We met up with another couple that we hadn't seen in quite some time, so we were mostly there for the company, but wow, we all feel like we were robbed.We all got some version of boneless wings. I'm guessing the flavors could be great, but when the chicken is so overcooked, it doesn't matter. I can't express to you how badly the food was overcooked. The fries and the tator-tots had zero seasoning on them except maybe a tiny sprinkle of salt. So boring! My husband had a terrible stomach afterwards too.I had high hopes for this place. The food is terrible. Maybe we went on a bad day? My husband said he hasn't been in a long time but that it used to be really good. That's why we were looking forward to it. Things are way too expensive these days to just throw it away on terrible food.

Stopped in with a business associate for a few beers and a bite to eat, we arrived a little after 5:00 PM on a Tuesday and found the restaurant mostly empty. The hostess was very friendly and led us to a booth on the left side of the restaurant where we were greeted immediately by our server Jaiden she dropped off a few menus and a list of cocktails and beers then stepped away for a few minutes allowing us to make our decision.We ordered a few beers and gator taters for a starter - living in Florida one can appreciate really cold beer and this place has really really cold beer. The gator taters arrive after a few minute and we placed our meal choice. For some reason I thought the gator taters were potato skins so I was a little taken back when this bowl of casserole like potatoes arrived but I must admit they were delicious.We ordered fried chicken sliders and a philly cheese steak with crinkle fries. Both entrees were perfectly executed and like the gator taters absolutely delicious so this was much better than the "bar food" I was expecting - the staff here is very friendly and attentive.The restaurant is very spacious and although ghostly quite during our visit I'm sure on game day this place could get busy and loud. It was also very clean, this was my first visit but definitely not my last...

We went to this restaurant to watch the FSU football game. They had sound, so that was a plus... but everything else was just ok. It works for a quick outing. Cleanliness could be better (floor/ tables), but no issues with service.

Have wanted to try this place and finally made it. Decided to sit on the covered patio. Was seated next to a woman who was smoking. Decided to eat inside since there was not a table to escape the smoker. The door locks to the patio so we had to have a server let us in. Was seating inside, which is decorated nicel and modern with several TVS and a bar. Took about 5-7 minutes until a server (Amy) asked for our drink order. That was about another 20 minutes until she brought the drinks and took our order. Then there was at least a 30-minute wait for the food. She did refill the drinks while waiting but no comment on the meal so slow food must be the norm. The food was mediocre and service continued to be poor. I won't be back

Service was lousy. The celery was past fresh, need to be tossed in the garbage. Asked for tots, got fries.

We've only visited this location one time due to the bad experience we had several months ago, which is unfortunate because we love gators.. When we were first seated, we noticed the two servers in our area arguing over who was going to get our small party of 2, and a larger party of 6. Our server eventually reluctantly came over to us and was not very attentive through our meal. We are always very laid-back, understanding and undemanding and always tip more than expected. So, this was disheartening. The food was good, as we've come to expect from gators, but the service has made us not want to go back. Maybe we will eventually, but we'd sooner go to another location.
