This is one of those again, the food has gone drastically down in quality. We ate here a year ago and actually liked it.This time, it was sooooo bad. There was HUGE (roach looking) bug on the wall. Really was gross especially being on property of the flagship resort.Next the food. The Mac and cheese is still decently OK. The chips here are stale, lacked flavor. The chicken sandwich was atrocious. It was the driest thing I ever ate. The flavors did not go well together. The previous sandwich was miles better. Just super disappointing all in all. Probably the worst dining we had on our trip by far.

Gasparilla Island Grill is a quick-service casual dining restaurant inside Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World. The restaurant opened in 1988 at the same time that the Grand Floridian opened. Originally known as 'Gasparilla Grill & Games', the eatery changed to its current name in 2013. The interior also originally featured arcade games, but they were moved to an adjoining room (dubbed "Arcadia Games") when the name changed. The restaurant offers all three meals and customers can enjoy everything from artisan burgers to flatbreads to sandwiches. My family and I visited Gasparilla Island Grill for dinner this past summer while we were on a Walt Disney World Vacation. We were visiting the Grand Floridian to go on a fireworks boat cruise, but wanted to grab a quick bite before our boat departed. Gasparilla Island Grill seemed pretty chill and had a decent selection. My wife and I both had the "Chicken Club Sandwich" (bacon, pepper jack, honey mustard aïoli, lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun), our older son had the "Chicken Strips", and our younger son had the "Macaroni & Cheese". All of our meals also came with a side of fries. Nothing was particularly fancy, but it was good food that hit the spot and we were in and out pretty quickly. My older son and I also had a nice time visiting the adjoining arcade. If you're looking for a quick bite while you're visiting the Grand Floridian then be sure to stop at Gasparilla Island Grill!

Stayed here a few years ago and mobile ordered from here as my room was close. The mobile order took a little but it wasn't a bad wait as the dining there was very nice and employees so nice! They gave us a drink as we were waiting. The food is like a $1-2 than average but you're expected to pay Disney prices. The food was good and the options here are perfect for a quick bite. The food was of a good quality and I'm not complaining, great place to come back to after a day at the park or pool. And if you're there at night - watch the fireworks!

Gasparilla has some pretty good options when it comes to sandwiches. I chose a kids meal tho to hold me over til dinner. I had the kids chicken wrap with some fries and ordered the house made chips. The sandwich was a bit smaller than expected but it was just enough for me. I did the mobile order option and my order was up pretty quickly.

Not a bad place to stop for lunch. Nothing special about this place either, just a generic fast casual dining spot. Our sandwiches were missing half the toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, etc. We had to request all of the toppings from a cast member after getting our food served to our table. They were very helpful afterwards, but waiting 30 minutes for a sandwich to be missing all the toppings is unfortunate to add more wait time on top of that. Prices aren't bad, but I probably won't return when there are plenty of other quick service options nearby.

Get the Broccoli tomato flatbread. This is my only review. Get one to try it and share, then get another one just for yourself. I will take myself out of MK just to get this. Try it as many times as you need so you can try to replicate back home. The cast members and service is great, you know this. The ambiance is super relaxed to be the grand floridian. Theres always people but it doesn't feel busy.Get the flatbread. This is heaven but no matter how good I let you know, you need to order this.

Good, casual quick service at the Grand Floridian hotel. I ordered the pulled pork Korean bowl that was quite tasty.

I'm not a fan of how the operation is organized when it comes to drinks. Go grab your meals then go to the register and order a drink. If you can remember what you'd like from the menu you walked past then go back to get the drink. I think Disney can do better at organizing the process. Also, for my first visit, I walked up to the order here sign and two girls were chatting with each other and didn't acknowledge my presence yet for quite a while. However, one lady definitely gave the Disney experience. She acknowledged my presence and politely instructed me to go to the register but offered to make my drinks ahead of time. That's how it's done.

The quick service place in Grand Floridian. The interior looks nice and refurbished. We ordered online, and it's pretty easy. Breakfast - the scrambled egg is so little, there's a lot more tater tots, bacon is soggy. Cuban sandwich - not bad, pretty standard, I'd order this again.

The Grand Floridian was stop number three on our monorail crawl. We were in awe of this beautiful resort as we looked down to the lobby from the second floor. We had been directed to the Enchanted Rose by our bartender at the Contemporary. It was the best bar menu thus far with items such as a house made beef jerky, fennel sausage and a smoked trout fish & crab dip but we were ready for coffee and dessert after the first two stops. We found coffee downstairs at Gasparillas along with an unexpected location to watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. Pixie Dusted!
