Fun vibes. Small bar. Long bathroom lines ! After a morning spent walking the winter park farmers market we stopped here for lunch ! We did have a reservation so keep that in mind on busy weekends. Menu is pretty typical "American" food. Don't miss out on the big soft pretzel Pool table is there, there's an upstairs but never checked it out. We sat in the sun room which was nice environment

I finally was able to try Garp & Fuss! As long as I have lived in the area, I've always heard great things. I decided to drop in on a Saturday during brunch time and I was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait. The food was great! The service was just ok. It did take a while for our waitress to make her rounds. I definitely recommend based on the food and vibe.

We came in for dinner and were seated right away. We ended up sitting in the back area in a booth, which I wasn't a huge fan of--it felt a little less lively than other parts of the restaurant. If I had to choose, I'd definitely recommend the enclosed patio area; it has a much better atmosphere! Our server was fantastic--super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The menu had a great selection of options, with most dishes under $30, which I really appreciated for the quality and portion sizes.I split The Fuss (chicken sandwich) ($18) with someone, and it was the perfect amount! They even brought it out split on separate plates, which was very nice. The chicken sandwich itself was delicious--perfectly cooked, and the fries were crispy and tasty.Someone I was with had The Garp (Chicago Italian beef sandwich) ($20), and it was absolutely delicious! The beef was unreal - so tender and packed with flavor. Highly recommend it if you're looking for something hearty and satisfying. We also had the French onion soup ($10), and it was a hit! Full of flavor, with the perfect balance of savory broth and melted cheese.Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend Gary & Fuss for anyone looking for a delicious meal on Park Avenue. I'll definitely be back!

I really wanted to love this place. The hidden location, the brick walls, and the big windows made it look so charming, and the reviews had me excited. But Garp & Fuss turned out to be more fuss than anything else.We sat down, looked over the menu, and everything sounded great. Then we waited... and waited... Meanwhile, a table of four showed up after us and had water and their orders taken almost immediately. Our server finally took our drink orders but never refilled our water and disappeared when we mentioned we were waiting for one more person. Once our last guest arrived, it took 15 minutes for her to come back and another 20 minutes for the drinks to actually show up. She finally took our food orders, but it took another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. I don't think I've ever experienced such slow service in Winter Park. The food was okay but nothing special. The burrata was fine--hard to mess up since it's just (which I believe was store bought) burrata, bread, jam, tomatoes, and pesto--but it didn't have the creamy, melt-in-your-mouth texture I was hoping for.The fig and goat burger was disappointing. The patty was over-charred on the outside, even though we ordered it medium, and it was pretty small. The best part was the fried goat cheese on top, but even that wasn't enough to make up for the rest of the experience.Overall, the space is beautiful, but the service was painfully slow, and the food didn't live up to the hype.

Location is a little hidden but easy to find. Feels very cozy. We got seated immediately. Our server was super nice. We got the pretzel and burrata to start. Both were so good. I got the cheese and pear fiocchi and added crispy chicken to it. Everything about this plate was a win. It was creamy and crispy. The fiocchi was nice and pillowy. The sauce had a nice smoky flavor from what I think was pancetta. Was too full to try a dessert but I will definitely be back.

After years of wanting to try Garp & Fuss, my husband and I finally made it for date night. This neighborhood restaurant and bar recently underwent a remodel, so I can't compare it to its former self. We were seated in the quaint conservatory, which made us feel like we were dining outside while enjoying the comforts of being indoors. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, explaining the menu thoroughly. With many appealing options on the menu, it was hard to choose. We decided on two shareables and a main course to split. Arriving during happy hour, the appetizers were half price. The waitress recommended the Mangia--a "large" meatball in sauce with a dollop of ricotta cheese and several pieces of grilled bread. Originally priced at $16, we got it for $8. Unfortunately, the meatball was not a shareable size, hidden beneath the sauce and lacking flavor. The sauce, however, had good flavor and was great for dipping the bread. I'm not sure how they justify $16 for this dish. Our second appetizer, mussels in a coconut broth with grilled bread, was a different story. Typically $16, we got them for $8 during happy hour. They were very good and prepared perfectly. For the main dish, we split the Squid Ink Scampi for $36. The kitchen kindly separated and plated it for two. While the presentation was lovely, the pasta was a bit dry and bland. However, the seafood--lobster and shrimp--was cooked and seasoned to perfection.Overall, we left feeling satisfied but not stuffed. While the dining experience was enjoyable, the food was just okay.

A true hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The food was nothing short of spectacular--each dish bursting with flavor and presented with care. My group couldn't stop raving about the attention to detail in both taste and plating. To top it all off, the owner made a special visit to our table to ensure everything exceeded our expectations, which added a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable.(Not pictured: the mouthwatering Fig & Goat Burger.)

I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger cooked medium with French fries for lunch. Local mushrooms were great but the burger was burnt to the crisp on the outside while half pink inside. Was sat in the atrium where there seemed to be only 1 server working the entire area, very slow.
