Garni Cafe

So we thought we were going to Haven for a team Christmas brunch. As we approached the hotel, I noticed a lack of any signage bearing Haven's name. So we get there to find that as of that day they were rebranded as Garni. Quite a surprise!First off, this place is beautiful. Photo ops everywhere. I recommend getting pictures at the peacock chair.I really like the range of prices on the menu. You can be cost conscious, or you can go crazy. If you want bang for your buck, go with the Eggs Benedict or the Garni Big Mec. On the other hand if you want to eat light but feel like you spent big, go with the Croissant Lobster Rolls. Good things come in small packages I guess. They were tasty and just barely filling. The fries were really good. The avocado listed on the menu is an avocado sauce, so don't think you can go picking it off if you're not into avocado. The dish is served on three tiny croissants. I think it would have been better to have the same amount of salad on one small croissant. But hey, how much lobster salad do you expect to get for 25 bucks in a fancy place?With the exception of one person, my companions all said they really enjoyed what they had. The exception had the Chicken Paillard, which she said was fine for a dish that was just fried chicken in sauce. Not bad, but not remarkable.As we finished our server brought us some lemon macarons. They were tiny but tasty. I normally don't care for macarons, but these were pretty good.I'd really look forward to coming back here in the future. I think that burger is calling my name!

All the other restaurants in the wave hotel is excellent and was excited to try this new place that had recently replaced haven. We went for dinner, the place is decorated nice, it is French inspired. Menu looks good, we started with the bread (pop over), it's good! Escargot, it's ok, it's not chewy so that's the good part but I felt it was very oily and was very salty. Third item we got was the deviled eggs, they were good but nothing special. For the entree my husband got the gnocchi and he enjoyed it. I got the duck confit, duck was cooked well but the meat on the side was fatty and with the beans it was over powering. Service was good. It was relatively empty when we went and a large party came in and they sat them right next to us which was then really loud. I would go back and give it another try for sure, maybe it was an off night.

Wowed by the Branzino at Garni Cafe! Fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The dish was beautifully presented but the service was a little slow. Can't wait to go back and try more of their French-inspired cuisine!

Love the vibe and decor of this place. Came for brunch now that it's Garni and it was ok. The food is pretty good but I do feel like it's a bit pricey. Would probably go again for a special occasion only.

Got to check out their new Garni cafe since they switched from Haven to Garni! Had a reservation and only had to wait a few mins for them to set up the table then our server Brianna was awesome! Tried 3 appetizers: tomato salad, deviled eggs and grilled shrimp all was good! Main entrees we had the breakfast sandwich and lobster rolls which was delicious! Last for dessert was the flan which good with the ice cream!

All around great. Enjoyed the meal and service. Nice location and view outside

After checking in to the hotel stayed for dinner, service was in point and the mussels app and both entrees were very good. $5 charge for bread a bit silly but the food was very good and the service solid as well.

The service here was honestly some of the worst I've experienced. We had a reservation but still waited 20 minutes to be seated, even though the place wasn't that busy. It took forever to get our order taken, and when the food finally came, one dish was wrong, and everything else was barely warm. The staff didn't seem to care and hardly checked on us the whole time. Definitely not going back.
