This pasta was good and tasty. I was a little skeptical because I figured it was just another pasta joint on iDrive in Orlando. It is not your food court bistro. All of our food was delicious. The servings are large, we ordered pastas for the kids and they were more than enough. They didn't skimp us on the sauce either, some places do. Overall it was a nice meal experience, we took it to go. Our meals were pretty tasty and just we needed after a long day. Side note, we ordered ahead over the telephone so there wasn't a wait and the staff was polite.

The food isn't bad the only disappointment is that the Garden Bistro also doesn't offer up anything unique to the breakfast market. Everything was tasty and well prepared and it's the perfect place for a quiet breakfast. Surround by hues of white, wood, and greens that pull the garden theme through in a very elegant way. One large dining table separates the restaurant in half surround by smaller tables. This perfectly sized eatery is attached to The Castle Hotel by Marriott. We needed a quick breakfast and since we already enjoyed room service we thought we would head downstairs to see how service ran.The whole staff was extremely nice and attentive. Unfortunately service tends to always go South towards the end and the pressure of timing is even more so essential in the Orlando hospitality industry. People save up their whole lives to bring their families to the heavily tourist area. Therefore time is of the essence. Dropping the check took over ten minutes after receiving a to go box. It wasn't busy on the floor but I'm unsure of what the back of the kitchen looked like. We just wanted to charge it to the room.Besides small glitch in service and not having anything particularly amazing to breakfast this place is quaint. We will definitely be back for dinner next time we're here. Since this does seem like a more quieter joint to dine at!!

Stopped in here while staying at the Castle Hotel (that review can be found separately) during my recent business trip. Not a very busy restaurant, or I managed to catch it on a rather slow day. Nice decor and conveniently located, but you do have to go outside and around the pool to get to it so it's not intuitive if you're looking for a "hotel lobby restaurant". My waiter was nice and attentive, but again it wasn't that busy. The menu isn't unique in any sense, it's your typical offerings. I went with the omelet and was not disappointed. It was cooked well and decent sized. Often times you can get veggies that are under-cooked or the eggs over-cooked, so getting this right was nice. All things considered it was a solid breakfast meal at a decent price. I really have no complaints. If you're staying here and need to grab breakfast I'd say give this place a try. But I probably wouldn't come here had I not been staying here too.

International Drive is jam-packed full of dining options but surprisingly have a limited number of breakfast options. Enter: Garden Bistro & Bar located at the Castle Hotel. The atmosphere is what I have come to expect from a Kessler operated restaurant. The space is well conceived with light flooding in from both sides of the building. The design is a balance of modern and rustic. The walls are covered with living plants. There are views of the pool and fountain. The staff are attentive and friendly. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server advised us on the menu and the drinks arrived promptly.I ordered the American Breakfast and it came out perfectly cooked (eggs, sausage, bacon). Only issue we had this visit was that the eggs on the Benedict were overcooked. If you are on International Drive and looking to escape the tourist traps, check out Garden Bistro. While we had a fantastic breakfast, I'd certainly return for a lunch!

Came here for breakfast while attending a conference. As others have said, there's not really anything special about the food. The waitress was very attentive and nice so that was great. I was the only person in the restaurant for most of my meal and I could hear the kitchen staff putting silverware away or something (VERY loudly)! Overall okay but wouldn't write home about it! Expensive for what it is. $16 for a plain eggs Benedict!!!

I stayed here for three nights and stopped by here once for breakfast and one for a little snack while doing some work. Very very VERY poor service. Their food takes FOREVER to get out and they don't seem to care. I ordered chips and salsa, it pace, I paid $15 for pace salsa and guac they didn't make. When I asked about it, it took 20 mins, guess they had to pick the avocado. The server Meredith, was very nice and accommodating, but she clearly had no real support or back up. Shame on them for trying to be a nice place but not caring enough to follow up.

I am sorry to say the experience was not great here. The chicken on the salad was cold and dry. Also the lettuce wilted and bad. I am giving it a 2 star because the cocktail and shrimp cocktail was good, but the service and rest of the meal was a 1 star.

I went here for breakfast on a one night stay in the area. The layout in the restaurant looks more like a hotel breakfast area., they had a very nice outdoor seating area that I should have taken advantage of.I had the salmon plate for breakfast - another name for bagel with smoked salmon. The food was pretty good, with a generous portion of smoked salmon and all the trimmings. There was only brewed coffee available, so I ordered a cup of decaf. It was either old, or just bad coffee. Either way, I couldn't drink it.The service seemed very harried. I am not sure, but I think there were actually building maintenance folks helping with the service.I never did get a chance to ask for a fresh cup of coffee to see if they could make a better cup. But, they did take the coffee off my bill with no questions, but also no apology.Overall, the cooks are doing good work but the service needs help.
