Garcia's Mexican Grill

They're not bad in a five star kind of taco way with consistently very good hospitality and prices you wouldn't or shouldn't complain about. I mean, I've enjoyed them everytime I've been in whether they were convenient or I went out of my way just because I was craving em'. And yeah, I do. I'd much rather give them the money than yo quiero yaco taco ...so I like a good value and I like to shop businesses who offer that. Taco Tuesday yo! And the lunch menu.So, I especially like the taco salad here; chicken or beef or both. Umn yumn. Never had a stale taco shell nor a skunk beer here. And the Chili relleno plussed up with meat from a beefy taco is my one of my favorite woo hoo hooya things! Or maybe they're just comfort food for me when my mom was holed up across the street and this place offered Great solstice for me and my dad. Either way, salud amigos!

This restaurant was highly recommended by a co-worker and local resident. So, I decided to take my mother to Garcia's Mexican Grill for a mid-week lunch. I immediately noticed the large parking lot with ample parking. Upon entering, I noticed the bright and colorful Mexican decor from the walls to the tables and chair backs. We were quickly seated and our waitresses took our order and served us equally as fast. The service is on point and staff seemed to all work together efficiently. The food and prices were very good. We ordered the tacos salad with shredded chicken and the Super Lunch, which consisted of 1 burrito, taco, 2 enchiladas, and a quesadilla filled with beef, served with rice and beans. While the ground beef was ok, we both agreed the shredded chicken was better. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience at Garcia's. With the good food, excellent t prices and wonderful service, this is definitely on the "go-to" list for future Mexican fixes!

We love this place! Mostly for the extra large frozen margaritas. Highly recommend the banana!!!!! This was the first time I got the steak and cactus and it is now my favorite. They make their own spicy sauce if you can take the heat I highly recommend. The service is always friendly and fast. Place is not too loud and very welcoming.

If you are in the DeLand area, I recommend this place. It's a big building with lots of seating! Lots comfortable booths, tables, and a bar area. We were greeted with such a great smile from everyone. Dulce took care of us and she was so sweet, she did just a great job at ensuring we had a good experience. The queso fundido was so good! Packed with flavor. I ordered the steak tacos and they were so tasty. The carne asada was a favorite. Their desserts were delicious and taste authentic. This is a great Mexican spot, with great prices!

Garcia's is a fan favorite in my house! There is no better Mexican restaurant around. I've brought anyone that visits me here and they have nothing but great things to say. The service is great and everyone is so friendly. From the time you walk in until you leave you are treated so kindly. The seating also adds to the atmosphere. Everything is colorful and there are beautiful designs everywhere you look. My sister and I stopped in recently and tried the quesabirria - amazing! I highly recommend it.

We ordered this in from DoorDash and it arrived still hot. The food was well spiced and had the perfect level of heat. We ordered the Enchiladas Supreme, Taco Salad and Super Burrito. The Enchiladas weren't over sauced. Every flavor shined through beautifully. The steak was well seasoned and the marinade flavors were on point Chicken was moist. Beans weren't dry. Cheese was perfect and not overly heavy Ranchero sauce was delicious.The taco salad was well put together. A thicker layer of beans on the bottom would've been preferred as the bottom of the shell was extremely soggy and inedible. The chicken was very moist and well seasoned. Nothing overpowered anything else. The super burrito steak was perfectly done. For the name of this it could've been larger. It put a dent in the appetite but did not satiate. The salsa was too heavy on the tomato and nothing else came through

WE DROVE 20 MINUTES FOR TACOS & DONT REGRET IT ONE BIT OR ONE BITE I SHOULD SAY:) I SWEAR i took more pictures of the food & now making the review i lost the pictures lol but EVERYTHING WAS GOOD ! The service was AWESOME , our waitress/bartender was very sweet and a pretty girl ! Everyone in the restaurant had a good vibe. The MOD came over and asked if we liked everything ..... The restaurant brings you back to Mexico, with its homey vibe; sombreros paintings colors ALL OF IT! We sat at the bar area, they have a FULL TEQUILA BAR they have specials on Taco Tuesday, they have specials on Fridays ! The street tacos was everything I WANTED & MORE! I definitely considered this place an authentic Mexican restaurant! They have homemade spicy sauces & homemade margarita mix NOT THAT SYRUPY STUFF ! The guac and chips, and even the salsa was perfect! I have no complaints about this place :) will come back Maybe on Taco Tuesday

The open sign was off, and they were only taking cash due to technical issues. We hesitated about going in, but I am so glad we did! You know how some mexican restaurants use the same flavoring in every dish, so they all taste the same? Not this one! We got chicken chimichang's and steak quesadillas and they were both delicious.Great service and amazing food! A+

We used to love this place. It was solid food and great prices. They have DOUBLED the prices. Yes, inflation exists at this time. But they significantly increased their prices for the same quality of food. They also have the worst margaritas that are more comparable to Gatorade. Never had an issue with the service.

I got the steak enchilada with rice and beans with a margarita. Food tastes great, however once I got home I immediately got sick with terrible stomach aches leading to vomiting from both exits if you know what I mean. This is the second time feeling ill but I wanted to really like this local spot. Sadly I will not be returning.
