Gabriel's Submarine Sandwich Shop

I have lived around Orlando my entire life and this was our first time at Gabriel's.The subs were delicious and as a to go order, they waited to cook our onion rings so they were nice and hot! Servers were kind and it just seemed like a great environment.

Pretty okay sandwich shop. With a great choice of food!The customer service was OUTSTANDING! We had about 3 people assisting us with our order, and answering any questions we had.I ordered a Buffalo chicken sub, which typically comes with grilled chicken, tossed in Buffalo sauce, but I requested breaded and fried chicken, and they had no issue accommodating me.My boyfriend ordered a Philly cheese steak, with green peppers and onions, we also ordered a side of curly fries, and the largest lemonade in existence lol.The best thing about my meal was the veggies used. The onions, tomatoes, and lettuce were some of the freshest, most delicious things I've ever had. My boyfriend said his Philly was outstanding, although he wished he would've opted for the 12 inch instead of the 8 inch.The ambiance was a little disconcerting, as the restaurant is very dark, and they only have one napkin holder that you have to get up to use (I guess it's a way to save on costs, which I get). When we arrived, there was maybe 2 other customers. When we left, the place was packed, and the entrance was crowded with people ordering. We will be back!

I really liked this sandwich shop! My girlfriend read online that it was one of the top rated sandwich places in Orlando, and we were looking for somewhere new to eat.When we stopped in, several of the employees greeted us and explained the menu and how the sandwiches were made. While my girlfriend got a fried chicken tender sub, I decided to try the Philly. It had delicious steak, chopped onions, and Mayo. We also got curly fries and the worlds largest lemonade lol.The interior was clean, but definitely needed an update, but our seats were comfortable, it wasn't noisy, and the cashier brought our food out as soon as it was ready. We spent less than $25 for our meal, and we will 100% be back!

Honestly surprised by how good the food was. We stopped by after seeing the best survivor sign and were not disappointed. Staff was really friendly and helpful answering our questions. The bread was so fresh. This shop is definitely from the 50s and they're good at what they do.We ordered a regular grinder, a buffalo chicken sandwich and an order of fries.

First time today. It was far better than expected. Service was good & staff is friendly. We had the regular & the grinder. Both were huge , packed with meat & delicious. Well put together. Under 30.00 for 2 drinks, 2 huge 12 inch subs ( we could only eat 1/2 ) & fries. When we were finished they wrapped up & bagged the left overs. It's easily a 5 star sub shop.

First time here, family owned the man working behind the counter it was his grandfather's restaurant and now he had taken over. I had ordered the 8-inch buffalo chicken sub with curly fries, there was a roast beef sub bought and a kids chicken tender meal. The service was great you go to the counter to order the food , some they make right in front of you the others they make in the back.The ambiance is laid back no frills but they put it in the service and food. There were a lot of kids in there as school just let out and they seemed like regulars as well. The tender sub it did not skimp on the sauce it had a nice kick

Food and service were good....however....cleanliness, building falling apart and slow service. If service was more organized, then they could have quicker service. The building is literally falling apart. Men's bathroom has boxes holding up sink, urinal covered in a shower curtain, ceiling tiles falling down. The cleanliness throughout leaves a lot to be desired.

10/10!!!Try the Philly steak cheese sandwich, you won't regret it. I got it last week and had to come again cause i couldn't stop thinking about the sandwich. Everyone is extremely friendly, genuine and always smiling. Kyle, the owner, is humble and attends to everyone. I love that there's family pictures everywhere- It feels like home!

Stumbled across them by accident. Let's just say this place is a keeper! So good! And the service was beyond friendly. Will be back.

Wanted to order food for some workers @ my home yesterday. Came across Gabriel's on Uber Eats (also have a grandson named Gabriel)!Everything was delicious and plentiful! Once you eat here, you'll never go to a Subway again!
