G&G Jamaican Delights

This place has AWESOME food! I love their oxtails, pigeon peas and rice, cabbage and plantains. The plantains have a beautiful grill taste. The oxtails were tender and not chewy. I can eat the pigeon peas and rice all day. The other entree we ordered was curry goat. It again was seasoned well. The cook she knows what she doing. You have to try this place.

So good, I don't wanna leave!! Seriously delicious food court eats and about the only thing going for the old West Oaks mall these days. I haven't shopped here so much in the last many years since its heyday. In fact, was here to meet someone from OfferUp; not exactly mall business. Lol..but enough about the me and the mall and the music. They're super warm and friendly, helpful and fun. You can see and taste they love what what they're doing. And you get hefty Caribbean sized portions too. Nom nom nom yum yum!They're so good they sell out of the wings so I didn't get to try those. Blast!!! So I went with the oxtail over pigeon peas and rice with some slaw which was an absolute delight. So wonderfully succulent and rich in flavor, that. Yum. So yum, they're on the return hit list. Can't wait to come back! That's a first for me with food court food.

Was at the mall on Black Friday and didn't want to leave in order to eat. I'm not much of a fan of mall food as it is usually greasy and over priced. Parents decided to get some yellow curry chicken and rice from this place. I didn't order any food myself because of the above reasons. Since they had plenty they shared their plates with me. To my surprise, this was real food. There was actually a guy in the back cooking this stuff from scratch. I'm not a fan of yellow curry, but I threw back every last bite of the chicken. It was moist and fall off the bone tender. The rice and plantains were ok, not really a fan, so I would try something different next time. But that chicken was more like something from a food truck. Now if I'm hungry at the mall at least I know I have a legit place to eat at the food court.

"My God" This restaurant is Heaven sent. The food is so good, it makes you wonder if God prepared it himself. The Jerk chicken is off the chain, and the oxtails, and peas, and rice are literally to die for. Okay not really, but the seasonings, and flavors come together so well, it makes the food supremely succulent, and keeps your mouth watering, even after you have eaten it all.G & G's is located in the food court, at the West Oaks mall in Ocoee. The inviting aroma hits you the moment you walk through the door, and keeps you encapsulated.I hate to say it, but this is better than most people's home cooking.

Flavorful food. Had the curry chicken with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. I tried one of the fried sweet rolls as well. The meal was delicious. It was a perfect blend of spice and heat. The roll was a bit bland and hard. Will be coming back for the oxtail! Service was first class as well.

Some of the best Jamaican food I have had which is a shock as you do not expect good food in a mall. I ordered the jerk wing meal. While the wings are cooking they ask for your rice choice and gravy. I had yellow rice with oxtail. Their oxtail is very flavorful and the rice is well seasoned. They then offer plantains or cabbage. Plantains are more thick without much flavor, but still good. The wings are very tender with a good spice. The spice is not overwhelming which allows you to still taste the chicken. Worth the drive!

This is a great Jamiacan restaurant. I was a little hesitant to give this place a try, but I'm so happy I did. I ordered a large plate of oxtails which came with cabbage and rice. Compared to other restaurants they gave so much meat. I felt like like the portion was perfect for 15$. The oxtails were falling of the bone and very flavorful. I recommend that you try the oxtails. I will definitely be back!

This place is great and the food is always on point. I have never been disappointed in all my visits. Plus, I'm certain there's something in the food that when I have a cold or something, it just makes me feel better, lol.

Excellent Jamaican food ! I go to their restaurant in Lakeland and their brown stew chicken and ox tail is the best I've ever had!give them a try - you will love it!
