Fuji Hibach Express

I'm afraid I was too hasty with my first review... because this place has never let me down! The wait times have severely lessened over the past few months and the quality of the food is honestly amazing. This place is a staple to the Grove Park Shopping Center and I don't know what I'd do without it

I really like this little place. The people behind the counter are nice, it's always clean, and the food is made to order. The interior is rather plain and all food is packed "to go" even if you eat in. (That is something they started due to the pandemic. Hopefully they will go back to real dishes for eating in.)We always get the lunch special, which is $7.95 for a drink, hibachi cooked protein (chicken, steak, or shrimp) and veggies, rice, and something called Yum Yum sauce. We've tried the chicken and the steak; both are always cooked well, super tender with little crispy bits on the edges. The veggies are always just on the soft side of al dente, and super fresh. The rice is good enough to eat as is. We have never been disappointed and always are stuffed with leftovers. Just can't beat that price for good food.Last time we went, my mum wanted to have Crab Rangoon as a treat. Well, let me tell you, it was absolutely fabulous. Probably the best we've ever had. It was a bit pricey ($6 for 6 pieces with a sweet chili sauce) but they make it by hand, to order, so they were very fresh. More savory than sweet and bursting with filling! So yummy! I could seriously just go back for an order of these and not share! This is a great alternative to fast food.

Disappointed... beyond disappointed I ordered from this restaurant through DoorDash.. it was so bad that I had to do a review immediately... I ordered the chicken yakisoba (Japanese noodles) with a Tampa sushi roll. I'm not sure where to even start to be very honest. Everything inside the sushi roll was cooked with so much oil... it was the greasiest sushi roll.. The yakisoba noodles were over seasoned that it tasted slightly burned. I didn't get any kind of yum yum sauce or anything... I tried adding soy sauce to offset the taste but it did nothing... so disgusting.. I know DoorDash overcharges people so I paid $18 for these two things but the attached receipt was about $15 so the price for bad food is affordable.. Safe to say I'm not ordering from here ever again... I just threw the food away so money and food definitely wasted..

So I don't want to put down a small business but I was pretty displeased.I had ordered a steak and shrimp combo hibachi meal.I received all chicken.Not sure if they had run out of the other items or if it was a cost-saving gesture. I had the sense this was not a simple order mistake.But there was no information provided to me.And I paid a premium for the other meats and received the cheapest option.I won't be back, and you shouldn't either.

Tried it last night and the food was very good. Very clean inside and good covid processes Food was very good and I look forward to trying different types of sushi rolls.

So for me this was a new restaurant that hasn't been in my neighborhood long. Hibachi, teriyaki and sushi. The menu is extensive for what I would say is fast food-ish like. There were at least six food delivery drivers waiting for their order so this place.must be very popular. The fried 4ice was great and the chicken and vegetables done hibachi style were outstanding. My partner had shrimp and it was moist, tender and really good. The prices were competitive and I fear the Chinese down at the end of the corner better beef up its fame because this place is way better overall. We ate inside and the restaurant was clean and the staff was quite friendly. Will eat there again...but I'll go through door dash!! Lol

This was the absolute worst chicken fried rice I have ever had. And I've had pretty bad chicken fried rice. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else. The chicken was not chicken. I have no idea what it was (nor do I want to know) but it was absolutely awful. Tasted fishey and raw and I got sick within an hour of eating it.

So my wife's food fell which caused her soup to spill all over her food and sushi, they were kind enough to replace the food altogether. To clarify it was a to go order. They are always nice and willing to accommodate as well!

This is regular Chinese food disguised as hibachi. I ordered the three meat, noodle entree (steak, chicken and shrimp) through UberEats. The steak was hard because they gave me the crunchy, gristle part and there were only a few chunks in the entire bowl. The chicken looked odd (long, linear pieces like the chicken used in a chicken & broccoli entree), and the shrimp looked like small salad shrimp (there were just a few shrimp in the entire bowl as well). Next time, I'll choose a real hibachi restaurant and get the real deal. Also, they packaged my RAW sushi and piping hot noodles in the same bag with only a small cardboard piece separating both so my sushi was just as hot as my noodles. I didn't know if it was still safe to eat so I didn't.
