Fu Hua Chineese Restaurant

My quest for great (or even good) Chinese food in the Orlando, Florida area had brought to Fu Hua Chinese Restaurant, which is a takeout Chinese restaurant located in a somewhat abandoned shopping plaza on Goldenrod Road.When I walked in, I would say it had your typical takeout Chinese restaurant vibe going on. I am sure you had seen this takeout Chinese restaurant ambiance in countless places. I know that I have.I stated my name and said that i placed an order to the man and woman sitting behind the counter. They went and got my food and charged. They were not friendly, but they also were not unfriendly either. When I got home, we tore into our food. We both got lo mein. We both found that the lo mein had an underlying unpleasant or more appropriate, a weird underlying taste. Hard to pinpoint what, but it was definitely there.I have not found great or even good Chinede takeout food and I hoped this place would deliver. It did not and my search for good Chinese food in Orlando continues.

They make good food. I would recommend. Egg drop & chicken wings are made fresh! Fried rice is good.

I am one of those millennials who basically never ever complain about restaurants or food and I don't think I've ever actually complained about food from a small local place, like, ever, but oh boy... we won't be ordering from here again. The portions are massive and very cost effective and the service was just fine, however, the food itself was bland, tasteless, and some of what we ordered tasted quite old and stale. We were quite disappointed. I can't exactly speak to ambiance as it isn't a dine in establishment. We did enjoy the wonton soup but the rest of what we got was more or less inedible.

I am trying to find the best Chinese in Orlando, but this place is not it. It definitely will work if I happen to crave Chinese and it's late because they aren't too far away. They have a delivery minimum of $15, which is hard to get to when you're ordering only for yourself. The guy that took my order over the phone was awesome and super patient with me. I ordered steamed dumplings and General Tsos chicken. The steamed dumplings were okay, the flavor was bland and the meat inside a little on the harder side. The General Tsos chicken came with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I have a shrimp allergy and thankfully I didn't have any allergic reactions while eating their food, so it doesn't seem as though they cross contaminate. The pork fried rice was good and there was plenty. The chicken was more breading than chicken and super crunchy. The egg roll was definitely the best part of the meal.I would go there in a pinch, but I'm definitely still on the search for good Chinese.

Stopped here a few days ago to order beef and broccoli and white rice, and enjoyed it so much I had to come back! I've been to plenty of Chinese restaurants, and this is some of the best I've had. The pork fried rice was just the right amount of sticky, and this is the only place I've had where the orange chicken had just the right amount of spiciness

Went back again, they did update their covid-19 measures providing sanitizer and wearing a mask. But the food just isn't good. I ordered the orange chicken combination platter and fried wontons. The food tasted old, fried rice was really bland, and there was a dead fly inside my wonton box. I was already halfway through eating so there was no point in calling and wasting my time. I have a friend who has experienced similar issues with the food quality here. Wouldn't recommend.

Stopped there visiting the dentist. I was very pleased with the food served here. Nice woman at the register and incredible food. We'll be back

NO vayas aquí si hablas español solo.They have no kind of system to make sure you get the right food. They don't take your name, phone number or give you a number. They scream at the customer if they mess up your order. My son's father picked up the food and they gave him the wrong order because he does not speak English to check if the food is correct. They refused our refund after making us go back to correct the order. DO NOT give them your business. They are rude especially the old man. The food is ok but could be better. If I could I would give the restaurant ZERO stars due to how rude they are.

We have been ordering from this restaurant for the last 16 years. Today we ordered, got the food home, and nothing is the same. The General Tso chicken, sesame chicken, happy family, and the Mongolian beef. All were terrible and not even close to what we normally expect. Called them and asked if they were new owners. They said yes. So if you are a long time customer of this place, I highly recommend you do not order from here. Time to start our search for another quality Chinese restaurant.

Great food and service fast!!! clean environment, and great location with limited traffic
