Tiramisu to go (a little under 6 bucks). A bit expensive for the quantity, but still a darn good dessert!

Tried this place for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I tried the lunch special which is two slices and a drink for $8. Pizza was hot and fresh and the people working were friendly. I would visit again. There's a small indoor section with tables but I opted for to-go.

I went with my friend on a Tuesday evening before the hurricane. We were greeted immediately and sat in a table near the small dining area with the menus already on the table. I was surprised that it was full service as our hostess came to take our drinks. I just had water while my friend had soda. My friend ordered the chicken wings with medium spiced buffalo sauce. I tried 2 pieces and it was amazing. The wings were meaty and had the perfect amount of breading. The were nicely coated in the sauce that wasn't too spicy, but had a nice buffalo flavor. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was definitely one of the best wings I had in Orlando. It took a while to get our pizza slices because they were coming right from the oven. But when it did, it came piping hot. I ordered 2 tomato and spinach pizzas, with one slice having anchovies, and the other with grilled chicken. The anchovy slice had a nice amount of the fish, providing the right amount of saltiness without sounding off any foghorns. The chicken since had plentiful grilled chicken, but I wish it had more seasoning. The chicken was still nicely grilled and had a bit of smoky flavor. Both slices had wonderful amounts of tomato and spinach, but the best was the garlic the added to add the deliciousness. The crust was soft, but I didn't eat too much of it due to not wanting to be filled up. However, this was a legit New York style pizza and one of the best I tried in Orlando! It was well worth the wait. I had the tiramisu to go and it came in a small bag. The tiramisu was small and not home made, but whoever made it deserves credit as it had the right amount of espresso and mascarpone cheese that made it light and delicious. The icing of the cake was that the 2 pizzas with the premium toppings and tiramisu came to about 18 bucks before tips. It was very reasonably priced! The service was very friendly and hospitable. While it did take some time to get our pizzas, they explained why and have us a estimate when it will be ready. The dining area was small, but was not crowded at all. There was outdoor seating too. The music was swoon music (Frankie Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Luis Armstrong, etc), which was perfect for the shop. I believe they plan on getting a beer and wine license so they can offer that as well. The was located in a small strip in between university and goldenrod. There was a Viet Nomz next door which I should try as well. But for amazing New York style pizza and wings, this is the place to go and I can't wait to visit again!

Happy to say the taste of the food has not changed since the name change, in case anyone was wondering. They have the best sauce & garlic knots. The restaurant is nice inside but I haven't ever sat down to eat inside. Pick service & online ordering is great. We love their pizza!

I don't review often....But seriously, where has this chicken park "slider" on an oversized garlic knot been all my life? My Italian heart and belly are happy with all this garlic. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Staff was super friendly. Food was out quickly and it traveled back to the house well. While we didn't dine in, the inside was cute and clean.

Frank's Pizza Shop (formerly Antonella's) is tucked away in a small strip mall on University Blvd. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The dining area is relatively small with only a few tables, but it's cozy and comfortable. When we first arrived there was only one table occupied, but within a few minutes the place was packed. Mary, our server, was amazing--extremely attentive and fast. Frank was in the kitchen making the pizza. We ordered the margarita pizza and some garlic knots. The pizza was incredible. Full of flavor with a nice and crisp crust. The garlic knots were also delicious. Full of garlicky goodness. This is the real deal, New York style pizza. We ate so fast I forgot to take pictures. We can't wait to go back!

My mother, who was first generation Italian and the only American on her father's side, always told us not to order spaghetti and meatballs at a restaurant because no one will make it like your mother. Well Frank's came very close. The meatballs were meaty and the sauce was not Americanized with too many herbs or spices. It had a flavor similar to our family's sauce and did not disappoint. The serving was so big I could make two servings out of it! I also liked the calzone named after the owner Frank. On my first visit, I ordered a small and it looked like a large to me. It was stuffed full of mozzarella, ricotta, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and onions and came with a side of marinara. Yummy! Frank's is located on University Blvd just east of Goldenrod Road and is located in the former Antonella's which was sold by Frank and Antonella. The new owners didn't last six months and the family is back as the owners again with a new name. Ordering online is easy.

a minute agoLet me tell you, I don't like ordering whole pies because I like variety. Frank's Pizza has never met me down in that regard. The square grandma pie is the best in town. The Sicilian looks heavy but is very light. Service is always with a smile. Do yourself a favor and go to Frank's. The ambience is fantastic, especially now that it's cooler to sit outside. The service is top notch too.
