Four Rivers Sweet Shop

This Sweet shop is always accommodating and the custom service is outstanding. Every time I walk over to this end of the 4 Rivers, the staff is always helpful and with a smile at that.The desserts are outstanding and one of a kind. Every time I go in, there is a new dessert and a large selection to choose from. I will say I wish they had a desserts catering book to view the options for custom cakes or cupcakes. I was told to just look at there website for images. It was a nice option for cupcakes though- mini cupcakes are $1 and regular cupcakes were I believe $3.50. There is no discount if you decide to order more.Also a nice feature if you are expecting, pregnant moms get a free scoop of icecream at each visit. Pretty tasty!

I enjoyed my meal with the towering brisket sandwich and nicely flavored baked beans, though I was disappointed in my dessert, the brownie bar. I like my brownies fudgey with dark chocolate, but other people might favor the type they have. They do have lots of options.Customer service is pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere and ambiance complement the food.

Came here after a sushi dinner craving some ice cream. Our first thought was to hit up Jeremiah's but we decided on stopping in to check out their ice cream. Once entering the sweet shop, the ice cream counter is to the left. I sort of wish there were more flavor options available. We all opted to each get a kids scoop. Child #1) strawberry, child #2) Oreo, hubs: Cookie Monster, me: coffee Oreo. My family enjoyed their flavors... you can't go wrong with these choices. I loved that the strawberry wasn't an obscene pink color. It was white with a few speckles of pink. I must admit, I've never seen a coffee Oreo flavor. It was quite nice. The coffee flavor was strong, but not bitter. The pieces of Oreo cookies throughout the cup balanced the coffee flavor perfectly! 3 stars for an average ice cream lineup. Unless you are getting a more involved milkshake with a cupcake blended into it (yes, they do offer this), I would go somewhere else.

This is a hidden gem of delicious sweetness! To my detriment it is right around the corner, lol, but their handspun milkshakes are totally worth the extra time at the gym. I have tried a few different ones but on this visit I got the chocolate with m&Ms and a drizzle of caramel. It was soooooo good. Their lemon bars are also phenomenal and really anything here is so good.

It's so simple I loveeeeee this place and their red velvet cupcakes are Amazing. Has a great selections on sweets and while your there grab some food and the tasty BBQ sauce.

I love 4 Rivers not only for their delicious BBQ but for their awesome sweet shop! The fact that they have a separate section for desserts is such a great idea. I'm always in this area & love that I can just stop in for a coffee or sweet treat. I only drink decaf & am a coffeeholic. I drink it for the taste not the caffeine & love the fact that they make each cup fresh. So I can go in there at any time of day & know that I'm not getting a cup of decaf that has been sitting on a burner since sometime that morning. Plus they use one of my favorite coffees, Peet's. They have an awesome variety of desserts to choose from & they are made in house. I don't eat that many sweets. It my son samples some of their sweets whenever we stop by. They also have a milkshake & ice cream parlor. They offer a cupcake drop-in milkshake. You choose any of their cupcakes & ice cream flavor which they then proceed to drop the cupcake into the prepared milkshake. It doesn't sound very appetizing to me but my son loves it, of course. What kid wouldn't? I don't like crumbs in my drinks Besides desserts they recently started serving breakfast. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but definitely plan on stopping by in the near future.

The hello dolly bar I purchased was phenomenal. It was a more refined version of a holiday classic I love to make myself. They weren't shy with the butterscotch chips which are a personal favorite of mine. The service was a little slow, but I chalk it up to going in the middle of the day when they were baking everything for dinner. The staff were super friendly.

It's definitely a feast for the eyes when you walk in. You see all these very elaborate cupcakes and they are over sized. But as it has been previously reported, the cupcakes are not actually that much better than supermarket. I would even venture to say they are worse. We did not finish them and took them home, and then still did not eat them. The cookies are ok. And we did not try the ice cream.

the 4 River Sweet Shop is definitely a feast for the eyes. As soon as you walk in the door you are immediately drawn to the case full of huge cakes and the display of equally large cupcakes, cookies, and whoopie pies. And to me, the ability to see them actually baking and working on the sweets is a draw as well. Unfortunately, things fall a little short after that. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy their cupcakes, but they aren't the best cupcakes I've ever had.My favorite is the cookies and cream one. Chocolate cake with an oreo inside and cookies and cream frosting. It is just all around delish. But the two i've tried since then, the peanut butter cup cupcake and the orange cream cupcake, didn't impress me. I loved the peanut butter/chocolate frosting, but thought that cake was just so-so. I enjoyed the tanginess of the orange cream frosting, but the cake was blah and I didn't like that it was COVERED in white chocolate chips. They seem to have the frosting down pat, but are still working on the cake part. I'm not sure if its due to the mass amount of cakes and cupcakes they make, or if they aren't getting translated well from cake to cupcake. I will continue to try their sweets when I'm there, but at this time I wouldn't go out of my way to get something from there.

We used 4Rivers catering and 4Rivers Sweet Shop for our wedding and were completely blown away! All of our guests and vendors have asked where our cake was from, because it was so elegant and SO good! Highly recommend them for any event needs!
